My new roommates suck - Potema - November 10, 2016 In her jaws was the largest pelt of fur she could find. She expected, that as she grew larger and soon expelled tiny versions of herself, she needed all the space she could find. Luckily for her, the den in the Glen was large, enough for her, her pups, and Nemesis and hers. She poked her head into the den, her eyes adjusting to the dark. @Nemesis?She inquired, wondering if the older mother was even awake or not. She saw a few shapes moving around in the den, but she didn't know who was who at the moment. RE: My new roommates suck - Atshen’s Ghost - November 10, 2016 Scrambling to untangle himself from the mass of limbs attached to disregarded siblings; a head full of dreams still present within him. Blinking, he sat upright as the siloutette of someone he didn't know peeked at the enterence of their sleeping den. The boy shot up. Tensing, he puffed out his chest in the way he had observed his mother do, as if sizing up the intruder with all that he had. Opening his mouth, vocal chords recieved no mercy as he let loose at the sopt of his lungs. "BOW DOWN!!!" The boy screamed at the stranger something he had heard his mother say once or twice in her sleep before, before running straight at the female like a battering ram. He really didn't exactly know what it meant but if his mom, the Queen, had said it, it had to be something seriously serious. This no doubt would alert the rest of his family, and as they awoke, they would see the boy about his usual activites; terrorising everything he really could while his ego inflated in size by quite some bit. He was by far the biggest of the brood and that would never cease to change, and so, it fell upon him not only to act in that way but the way of the eldest; taking charge in the worst way possible.
RE: My new roommates suck - Abraxas - November 10, 2016 Ice optics flicked open as words crashed down upon him, the sudden loudness causing him stillness a moment in his shock, before he slowly stood from beside the one sibling he did not mind; Keelut. His gaze fastened on the stupid oaf of a sibling that he somehow had, fire smoldering in those orbs as his anger built. but as soon as anger had reached the "come closer and I'll cut you" stage, his gaze abruptly lost emotion again, before sitting and waiting patiently for his mother to deal out discipline. Soon. soon, Atshen would feel pain and Abraxas would be the case, one way or another. he hardly forgot every atrocious insult to himself, memories hazy but thrown on the pile of hate he felt for Atshen and Astrid. he did not realize, the intensity that he stared at his brother, lips pulled back in a silent snarl. RE: My new roommates suck - Potema - November 13, 2016 Only a few steps in the den, and she was already greeting with the loud cries of her new roommates. Her ears pressed backwards as a loud cry filled her ears. Her lips curled as she placed the fur down, standing over the dark little creature. No,She said firmly, flashing a glance at the small, quiet one with a stare of sharpened steel and teeth of needles. @Nemesis?She asked again, trying to wake up the mother of the strange two pups. RE: My new roommates suck - Nemesis - December 11, 2016 forward dated to present time. Nemesis held little likeness for any of her co-leaders. From the same brood did something unagreeable did sprout, something she was simply unable to get along with purely for the fact that all three of Meldresi's children seemed as insufferable as they came; Damien being the eternal worst dictator in the history of the Dark Brotherhood. Burke had not even been as bad, the woman had often reflected, however contradictory to her own former actions as it was. Potema, however, had been the one she could at least stand to be around before the revelation that her offspring would challenge the Siencer's own. It was a fact she had quickly come to resent as she cursed the mother that had dared to go behind her back on this She could not be unkind, for something had occurred to her in the seconds that her offspring had harassed the pale woman, Nemesis needed allies; and besides her own children, she had none but those beneath her. And even then, their loyalty was not out of devotion but the promise of a home over winter. Not even Kove, she knew, would stand for her in the event his own moral devotions were at stake. It turned her disgust but bringing forth the realisation that she would need at least one someone to pledge for her when her own leadership would be put on trial; something she knew was bound to happen should Damien ever return. Convincing Cicero of her legitimacy in the title of Dark Master would be a feat she had no time to attempt; Potema was an easier target and perhaps, even a useful one. While the dark woman would have no friends, Potema and the dark woman shared similar interests and common characteristics; Nemesis could not avoid. Unlike her brother, Potema did not share the ego of her older sibling that would cause the leadership to fall into certain turmoil again, but perhaps, untie it even further should the dark woman and the pale woman prove to get along better than the former Dark Master and Nemesis herself. Potema had sought out the dark woman after all, there had to be reason behind it.
“Yes?” Her tone was icy but it was not unkind; she stifled the urge to reveal that now as the Dark Master, Potema's children would not be allowed to live should their pack numbers dwindle and the mouths to feed exceeded more than they could afford to hunt for. It was a basic form of survival, one that she would take greater pleasure in but could not afford to casually mention unless it was in her hopes to be overrun herself for even thinking about it. In contrast to the reality of Potema's children's birth, the dark woman was instantly reminded of her plan, that she could do nothing to sever the potential and hypothetical bonds between her and the witch; too much was on stake to try anything idiotic. And so, she would keep the formalities where it was needed though she did not care what the pale woman read between the lines; the dark woman wished all pending threats to her title or her children's title, dead, no matter who or exactly what it was. RE: My new roommates suck - Atshen’s Ghost - December 27, 2016 Sorry for holding this up! I'm just going to have Atshen exit here-- please skip him in future rounds!
Potema’s reaction and the snarl from Abraxas caused a sneer to roll onto his features. Saying nothing more, Atshen pushed forward so that he could purposely elbow the Listener in his way out of the den. Once he was out of the den, he paused momentarily to glare back into the den before he continued out of the den, wanting nothing more to do with either of them. RE: My new roommates suck - Abraxas - January 06, 2017 Externally, his anger faded when his sibling left without much warning, though anger had yet to fade within him. He settled back on his haunches, utterly silent, though his intent gaze, focused on the pale woman, was in stark contrast to his still demeanor, piercing and interested, and though he would not partake in the following meeting, he would simply observe, and he would learn. RE: My new roommates suck - Potema - January 14, 2017 One boy, the one who had yelled at her, scowled and stamped away, leaving her with the quiet one and his mother. Nemesis had greeted her with ice in her tone; she had long seen the scowls on Nemesis' face. Her pups were a threat to Nemesis'. Potema was steadfast in bringing them into the world, keeping them. If it was Mephala's will that they come into conflict for her amusement, so be it. The winners will come out from the scuffle. I wanted to let you know I will be moving in here,She was calm, despite the gaze of the Silencer. She had been nothing but kind to the woman, would the presence of more Melonii children destroy that? I will give you and the children room, now and when my own are born, RE: My new roommates suck - Nemesis - February 19, 2017 The other speaks and she does nothing but nod, perhaps too stifly. Their time within the nursing den was over yes, but evicted they would not be. "We have long overstayed our time here," She agrees but in her own time, indicating for her son to leave them or remain. As for Potema, did her attention return, a rise of her brow as the white witch spoke again. "Do what you like Potema," She speaks but does not elaborate further, re-directing her eyes to her paws as she preens away what is left of a stranger at the borders. Potema has little idea of the restraint the dark woman shows, and the dark woman herself has little interest in making it know; neither is it in her interest to start something the other will not win. Nemesis is not heartless, and the other in a fit of hormones will not see clearly how dangerously inflicting her future children were on the lives of everyone else. The Silencer will not waste the time explaining something that would not get through; Nemesis herself would decline such facts had she been in the place of Potema. |
