spirits in the dark are waiting - Tanja - November 12, 2016 for @Goliath
Winter was inevitably on it's way, and with each growing hour the air seemed to become colder and colder. It was no surprise as the animals began to leave behind their homes and set off for warmer weather, and even Tanja himself noticed the fewer prey that appear within the territory. Soon Drageda would not be able to provide enough and the wolves would most likely be forced to search the surrounding lands for food. There was also the matter of loners looking for a place to stay during the winter, and being the stubborn asshole that he was, Tanja was likely to find few worthy of living on the mountain. Then again it was not his place to invite them in, but it was his duty to make sure that rogues knew there lay a claim here. So he set off on his daily rounds refreshing the borders and making it clear that this pack was not here for any scavengers to peck at. RE: spirits in the dark are waiting - Goliath - November 16, 2016 Sorry for the lateness and bad post- Kinda hard for me to get back in rhythm :s
Goliath woke up at the usual time- an hour before sunrise- to begin patrolling. He didn't care if it was his shift or not, it was second nature to him. He was raised in war, lived in war and always believes there will be war. Starting from his preferred resting point- the geyser fields, through the harsh cliff-edges of the Sleeping Dragon, all the way to Rendezvous Point and back- which he would continue to do, nearly every day, until midday, when he would rest. Today was a much friskier morning- and the trek that he patrolled was covered with frost and snow- a bad spell for his paws. Despite that, he climbed the mountain nevertheless- but halted his trek when he saw an unfamiliar wolf by the border. He stomped towards the unknown figure, his ugly, distorted nose was blistered and unable to catch the scent, and thus he simply approached them "Who is you?!" he bellowed, aiming to catch their attention RE: spirits in the dark are waiting - Tanja - November 16, 2016 Tanja preferred for his patrolling to go uninterrupted unless there was something seriously wrong, so when mr bodybuilder decided to come stomping over, it put the gray furred man in a foul mood. Judging by his scent Tanja could tell the strange man had been a part of Drageda for a while and despite being annoyed dipped his head in greeting. "Tanja" he answered to the man's question before turning away to return to his patrolling. He would not let pudgy over there get in the way of his routine, but that didn't necessarily mean Tanja wasn't interested in the other as well. "Who are you?" he called out, curious who the strange man was and what they did here. Tanja left room for his interruptor to join him on his patrol, but he would certainly be happy to just leave him behind also. RE: spirits in the dark are waiting - Goliath - November 16, 2016 As the stranger came into sight- he could see the details of the male much more clearly. His nose soon caught up, and he could tell that the wolf that called itself 'Tanja' (which Goliath, rather immaturely thought was a girl's name) was a recent initiate- The gray wolf began to walk away, and Goliath sped up. His huge body was hard to push forwards- but he managed to catch up with a few large steps. Making way for his enormous torso to fit, he stood beside Tanja to learn more- why he was patrolling, from where he came, etc. "is Goliath- great Gona" he boomed proudly, "soon-to-be Ccheka" he added, his eyes blazing with excitement while a giant, childish grin spreads across his massive muzzle. "Why you patrolling?" he huffed, having some small suspicions that the male wanted to join the Drageda's forces- RE: spirits in the dark are waiting - Tanja - November 22, 2016 Tanja listened as the brute came charging after him when he turned, and on instinct the fur along his spine prickled up when the footsteps were directly behind him. He did not expect the strange man to attack, but the gray male in no way felt at ease around the beastly guy. Still, Tanja managed to force a smile upon his lips when the Gona introduced himself and felt a small pang of jealously when he mentioned he was supposedly going to be Cheka. "Then I believe we may find ourselves at odds one day" he said in regard to the rank that many honorable wolves fought over. It didn't take long for Tanja to realize that this Goliath had a few loose screws up in the old noggin, and the gray man wondered what this guy was good for besides being some muscle. "Why wouldn't I be?" he asked in return to the Gona's question as he moved to refresh a nearby tree. Yet by the time he turned around to hear the Gona's answer the brute was already gone and Tanja once again was left in silence. He shrugged it off and went back to patrolling, quickly wiping away Goliath from his memory. editing in an exit since player went inactive
