Words Unspoken - Tigerlily - November 26, 2016

[ooc] Pups speak there first words. Doesn't have to be anything specific like mum or dad, but something special to them? Or a name of a sibling? Really any words they would have heard from wolves they've spent time with (said in actual threads or not) . :) @Rowan @Rose @Hawthorn @Alder @Aspen  @Eden if she wants too/can :P (Yes i did just tag myself) [ooc]

Tigerlily woke with a smile as she took her russet paws and shifted herself from her mothers side. She was raring to go as usual but something felt different about this day. It felt important. Though Tigerlily had yet to know what. Stubbornly and impatient as she was she padded over and began nudging her siblings. She wanted to play. Or fight. Or something. She was bored. As per usual.

After she was fairly sure she had annoyed her siblings enough to wake them she trotted over to Alder and began to nudge or jump on him trying to wake him up. Eventually she would move to her mother and do the same but for now she figured maybe best her mother slept a little longer. As she nudged or jumped on her father she made relentless squeaks and cries to further create enough chaos to satisy the pups needs.

But before she could even think a word came out of her mouth. Nothing major but still important to say the least. "Play," she squeaked as her head met her fathers flanks once more. "Play!" she repeated a little louder and more sure of herself this time.

RE: Words Unspoken - RIP Eden - November 27, 2016

She was on her way back to her den after a visit to the springs when she heard Lily's tiny voice in the alpha den. For a moment, the pain disappeared, and though she still approached with a weak limp, Eden had only joy within her. A weak and hoarse voice called out to the child, Lily, play? as she quietly stepped inside and plopped down. Eden took a few heavy breaths but soon enough, her attention was Lily's alone.

RE: Words Unspoken - Tigerlily - November 27, 2016

Tigerlily grumbled as no one seemed to be stirring ad fast as she wanted then too but her attention was quickly drawn to the white wolf at the entrance. Her teacher had come back. immediately she leaped down off her father's stomach and trotted over to greet her.

Eden said the word that Lily had been saying as well as something she believedidn't to be her name. "Lily play," she says repeating exactly what Eden had said. The first time she had said her own name followed right after the first word ever and many more firsts to come she was sure.

She sat down by Eden batting at the fae's paws gently tail wagging happily and she looked up almost expectantly at her.  Would she take her outside or would they just play here. So long as she was getting attention she would be fine.

RE: Words Unspoken - RIP Eden - November 27, 2016

Eden felt a childlike glee wash over her as Lily made a game of hot hands (hot paws?). It had been a while since they'd gone outside, but could her body really handle it? She supposed that if something went wrong, Estelle would be there to help as soon as she called...
Still, it was risky business and Eden wasn't interested.
Instead, she remained lying down and prompted Lily to continue. E-den. Can you say it?

RE: Words Unspoken - Rose - November 27, 2016

The second her sister began to nudge her Rose grumbled out a "no" as best as she could while still being half asleep, but eventually she did rise due to the commotion her sister was causing. With her vision still a bit blurry, the russet girl made her way after her sister and by the time she was fully awake had probably already bumped into her brother's and parents more times than she could count.

"Tiggy pway?" she asked while she brought a paw up to rub at her eye. It was at that moment that she realized her sister was not the only person awake in the area and Rose was quick to scoot behind her sister to avoid the stranger who she considered to be a threat. She wanted to ask the pale female something, anything, but it felt like there was a huge lump in her throat that she couldn't get rid of. So instead she pressed her ear's to her crown and shot her sister a look that said something along the lines of "who is this?"

RE: Words Unspoken - Tigerlily - November 27, 2016

Tigerlily looked at Eden with a smile on her face as she asked her to say a word. Tigerlily was learning more by the day. Soon she would be able to speak full sentances paragraphs even. "Eden?" she said slightly messing up and she curiously tilted her head.

She felt her sisters nervous prescence behind her followed by a small voice questioning her playing. Lily turned her head and gave her sister a playful boop on the nose offering a warm and comforting smile. Rose had obviously never met the white female before let alone knew of tigers countless trips outside. "Eden," she stated this time pronouncing it correctly before she could even process that had come out right. She shifted her gaze back to the white fae. "Play!" she shouted.

RE: Words Unspoken - Hawthorn Charley - November 28, 2016

They bumped into him; he didn't know who. But they woke him up, and as tight as he screwed his eyes shut, as hard as he tried to fall back into the warm and dream clutches of sleep, he found that he couldn't and with a loud grumble, opened his bright blue eyes and glared at the world. Or, at least, after he finished blinking to allow his eyes to adjust to the new lighting. Hawthorn rose, eyes narrowed at his two sisters before rising to take in the pale stranger in the room. He didn't know her, he didn't think, and so she was a threat - he shot her a fierce scowl, then opened his maw and somehow said, "Stop," to his siblings. Hawthorn paused, brows creasing into a cute frown, before a small grin tugged at his lips and he repeated the single word, "Stop."

"Haw....thorn...? Haw..thorn...play......play!"

RE: Words Unspoken - RIP Eden - November 29, 2016

The space between Eden and Lily had become crowded with the voices of Rose and Hawthorn as well, yet she was in no way one to complain. For a moment, she was free of worry and aches, left with three tiny blessings to fill her time. Okay, we can play. Shh! Eden whispered as she stood and turned to exit the den, expecting the three little ones to follow behind her.
Once she reached the exit of the tunnels, she sat to make a headcount for a wave of nausea was beginning to wash over her. As she plopped down and took into account each of her little troopers, her eyes scanned the perimeter to see if there were any dangers that would require a retreat, but luckily, they seemed safe. The weather was holding and the ground was steady, thus Eden gave the signal to the pups.
Let's play!

RE: Words Unspoken - Rose - November 29, 2016

It was at her brother's words did Rose realize that another one of her siblings was out and about. The russet girl bounced over to her brother to give him a soft nudge before looking up at the pale female who towered over them. She watched as their playmate began to lead them somewhere, and with a quick, nervous glance to her siblings Rose slowly followed behind.

When the exploring party finally did reached the outdoors, Rose was quick to run over and jump into a pile of leaves. She laughed as they crunched beneath her, her head being the only thing visible while her body remained shielded by leaves. "Pway" she called out to her siblings and new playmate, excitement practically beaming from her eyes.

RE: Words Unspoken - Rowan Pryor - November 29, 2016

It was not the sound that woke the tiny Pryor, but in fact the lack thereof. He'd adapted to his loud-mouthed siblings -- while being loud right alongside them -- and learned to drone it all out.

His scarlet eyes fluttered open to see Eden's butt.

More specifically, the Barontess' rear as she slipped from the cave. Silent, the boy scrambled to his paws, shaking his pelt out, and bounding after his siblings. With luck, he would push and shove all three --okay, maybe he was careful to avoid Rose, who was by far his favorite of the three -- out of the way in order to get out of the den first
Whoo! Late to the party and still fuckin shit up B)

RE: Words Unspoken - Tigerlily - November 29, 2016

Tigerlily smiled as Hawthorn also decided to join them and they followed Eden happily out of the den and into the tunnels. Though to Tigers disappointment Rowan came trotting up behind them and shoved her out of the way. She snapped at him as he moved and let out a small growl. "No," she snapped and frowned. That was all she could manage for a pup still learning to speak but she wished there were more words she could say.

Once the four of them and Eden reached the entrance to the tunnels Tiger bounded after her sister as she darted off and jumped into a pile of leaves. Tiger immediately forgot about her brothers annoying behaviour and play tackled rose. Careful to remain gentle so as not to hurt her. "Ha!" she said with a smile on her face.

RE: Words Unspoken - Hawthorn Charley - December 02, 2016

Hawthorn offered Rose a small smile when she bounded over and greeted him, but otherwise remained utterly expressionless as he followed her out of the den and into the tunnels that led to the outside world - the world he so loved. But before Hawthorn could appreciate its beauty, he was, as always, interrupted by his runt of a big brother - possibly the sibling he disliked the most out of all his siblings. The tiny runt pushed past Tiggy but Hawthorn was large, much larger than the albino and so he stood his ground and growled as fiercely as he could at his brother, opening his mouth to repeat the words that his big sister had said moments go, "No," Hawthorn said, expression contorting in displeasure. "Ro....no. No..go. Bad."

Then Hawthorn left, bounding out from the cave while shaking out his pelt. He didn't want to spend anymore time with the annoying white squirt that was his big brother. Big brother - ha! He might be older, but he would never be bigger. Nevertheless, his displeasure was soon forgotten when his paws touched the outside world, and while he didn't smile, his eyes gleamed with a rare pleasure. "Pwayy!" he responded to Rose and bounded excitedly to where his older sisters were, wagging his tail quickly.

RE: Words Unspoken - RIP Eden - December 28, 2016

Eden smiled as the children squeaked about their content and bounded through the fallen foliage. It was a rare occurence these days for the mother-to-be to flash her grin, but she couldn't help holding back the joy in her heart. Yes, play! It was amazing to her, seeing them all so carefree. Eden wondered if this is what her own children would be like; unstoppable forces of innocent curiousity, untainted by the outside world. She nosed at her swollen belly and laughed lightly as the brood nosed back, before a smooth rolling tear formed in the corner of her eye.
Having fun? she cooed, wondering whether or not the children were enjoying themselves as much as she was.
