Able - Tuwawi RIP - December 01, 2016

Tuwawi had found nothing in the South. Not purpose nor the wolf the aging matron sought so tenaciously. So, with a twisted paw, she meandered back through Teekon towards Duskfire. By the time she reached the pass, the red woman was practically lame on her feet and exhausted from the last leg of her trip. The Sveijarn knew winter would not be kind to a lone traveler -- especially one nearing her sixth year -- and so when the scent of a neaby pack dawned upon her, Tuwawi could not help but saunter closer.

She licked her tattered lips thoughtfully the odor became more pungent and then waited to be found by the wolves who called this place home.

RE: Able - Larus - December 01, 2016

The vale was becoming more like home every day. Together with the others, Tryphon knew that eventually he would become so devoted to this place and to their leaders that he would do anything for them; he was already attached to the concept of caring for Saena, of following her and keeping her safe, as it both entertained his wanderlust and granted him a purpose. Today was only marginally different from the last — he wasn't alone for a change. When he chose to go off and explore the outskirts of the pack's current space, he made sure to alert a couple of others to his plan, although all he did was bark or look to them before departing.

When a scent hit his nose, Tryphon was forced to pause. He didn't know if intercepting the stranger would be a viable option by his lonesome, but at least he could call for help if he needed it. After a few minutes of indecision, Tryphon eventually pulled away from the scent and doubled back — yipping softly when he spotted some familiar faces — and then with backup in tow, he drew their path back to where he'd scented the stranger.

It did not take long to reach her; yet when he did, Tryphon did not know who he was looking at. The boy stutter-stepped, fell back behind his companions, and drifted behind them while he was overwhelmed by a strange mixture of apprehension and familiarity, of which only the first was something he was accustomed to feeling around new faces.

RE: Able - Warbone - December 01, 2016

Warbone followed Tryphon eagerly, as he was bid to, glad to see the quiet wolf engage in something without it being required of him. It would have been just as well if he had investigated the scent alone, but he had chosen to rally his kin, and for this, Warbone was severely appreciative.

He came last in their group, watching Tryphon back up suddenly, before his eye turned on the blazing woman before them. She was small and quite weathered -- leaving Warbone to deduce that she was around his own age, judging only by her scars and an obvious tiredness that she carried on her shoulders like a stone shawl. It was a welcome reprieve from all the young, and quite haughty she-wolves already in his pack, but the feeling was short-lived as he noticed the foreign object around her neck.

The large wolf bristled and stepped forward, his tail rod towards the sky as he placed himself between his comrades and the fiery stranger. Though stifling any aggressive noises, his body language demanded that she immediately submit. He could not smell anything wrong with her, but would make sure she wasn't a threat before he allowed any of his wolves to venture nearer.

RE: Able - Saēna - December 01, 2016

Saena's entire body seemed to quake and strain as she lifted herself to her feet, pulling taut the dozens of bite wounds and scratches that made a patchwork of her pelt. Most of them were well on their way to healing. The large, deeper wound near her belly was still the worst of them. At times, after a long day's slow travel, it would weep blood or fluid in protest, and it was often warm, but she tended to it diligently, and that alone kept it from festering.

She followed Warbone and Tryphon at a distance, and when they met the crimson-and-cream wolf near the edge of their claim, the first female hung back. She had several reasons: the two males could easily handle Tuwawi; she was distrustful of that thing looped around the lone wolf's neck; and she was feeling rather disgruntled and decidedly antisocial on account of both Tuwawi's wisened beauty and Saena's agonized body.

She watched silently, warily, but for the moment, she didn't approach.
