Here to bring a message - RIP Valette - December 28, 2016

Valette had finally navigated her way to Silver Creek. The road had been long and it took her a while to locate the pack. She remembered the marks though. She had to get off the plateau and around the pack that she had ignored for now. If she had been on a full expanded travel she might have stopped for a chat but she had Keoni and Nikai to think about. She was their mother now and she couldn't stay away for too long.

The young female howled for the presence of Spring, Heston and Natashe. After all they were Amber's siblings. Valette sat down at a respectable distance from their borders. She didn't want to be that respectful towards this pack. The female waited patiently for an appearance. Though it was hard not to close her eyes and rest. She had been traveling through the night to make up for lost time along the way.

RE: Here to bring a message - Natashe - December 29, 2016

Natashe moved quickly after hearing the call of a stranger at the borders, could there be another joiner? She stopped a few feet away and stared at the woman that sat a good distance away from their markings before speaking, her tail raising for now as she was the only one at the borders currently. If spring were to arrive she would drop that position real quick. "Bonjour Madame, Do you wish to join us?" She asked politely her fiery gaze studying her still, and noticing hown tired she looked. She must have travelled a long way, for her eyelids seemed to want to drop.

Not knowing if she sould or not, she released a short howl for spring both to call her again and to signal she was already on the scene. She wished to allow the woman to rest a bit, but if she wanted to join that would have to wait until more important matters were discussed between her and Spring.

RE: Here to bring a message - Spring - December 31, 2016

At the first howl she began to make her way towards the border, curious if this would be a new joiner awaiting her, but when a second howl was sounded from Natashe a prick of worry settled through her and she quickened her pace hoping everything was all right.  She couldn't remember ever being called twice before for something... or at least not recently, so while everything was probably just fine she still found herself a little bit nervous.

Upon arriving, she noticed that everything seemed pretty fine, so she probably had nothing to really worry about.  A black furred female with gorgeous striking eyes sat tiredly a little ways away from the borders and then there stood Nat by her, but on the Silver Creek side of the borders.  "Hello, what is your bussiness here?"  She asked, eyeing the new female curious, tail flagged in domiance to show who was boss here.

RE: Here to bring a message - RIP Valette - January 01, 2017

Valette kept her respectful distance from the border, after all she wouldn't want to offend Amber's family. The young Beta got up to her feet when the first one approached. "No, I come to bring a message," Valette explained to the female. She didn't have to wait long before another female also approached. Valette had a friendly but tired smile on her face. This one also wanted to know what her business was. The Beta assumed they were perhaps not used to visitors?

"I'm Valette, Beta of Easthollow and their Ranger," she explained to them. "Amber asked to travel to Silver Creek, specifically to Spring, Natashe and Heston to bring a message," she explained to the two. She didn't know that she already had two of the three wolves that she had to bring her message. The young female wagged her tail. "Is there a possibility I can talk to them?," she asked.

RE: Here to bring a message - Natashe - January 02, 2017

Once spring had arrived she lowered her tail though she didn't sit down. The woman didn't want to join them, but to bring a message? How interesting. She turned to look at spring who had asked pretty much the same thing, what did this woman want?

The question was answered promptly and when Amber's name was mentioned she gasped, her eyes lighting up with happiness. "I am Natashe. Has Amber given birth yet?"  She asked eagerly. The thought of squirming little naked wolves usually made her uncomfortable but this litter was to be family, Neices and nephews of hers.

RE: Here to bring a message - Heston - January 02, 2017

The call at the borders for such specific members had confused Heston. His paws had turned that way instantly, but he had been far from where the call originated. When Natashe's howl went up again calling for Spring, Heston increased his pace. He didn't want to be terribly far behind if this was bad news. He wanted to be there for Spring. He reached the gathering late and let his eyes travel over the wolf who had called. He heard snatched of what she said as he approached, and his eyes lit up with interest and concern. Was everything alright with Amber?

He chuffed to announce himself to those gathered and moved to Spring's side. He gave her neck a soft nuzzle before he could think of any reasons why he shouldn't do so. He hadn't yet considered if Spring had told Natashe of their mating. He gave Natashe and warm smile, but kept his distance from the woman. She was full into her heat now and he viewed her as a friend. He did not want thoughts of her to filter into his mind, nor for her scent to even as much as quicken his pulse. He stood close to Spring, the hair of his side brushing against hers.

"Sorry I was late." He said, smiling at each of the three women. "Seems you have luck, you've caught all three of us. Spring, Natashe and Heston. I hope everything's alright?" He did not press for more, allowing Spring to take the lead. He couldn't help but ask, for her was worried. Surely she would have given birth by now. He wondered how she'd take the news of his and Spring's new status. Would she be happy for them or angry?

RE: Here to bring a message - Spring - January 06, 2017

Valette, she called herself, coming with a messgae from Amber.  Her interest spiked.  She guessed that this must be a message that Amber had sent for her ears.  There was something else too though... this Valette looked very vaguely familiar, but she just couldn't place it.

When Heston came she stiffed just a little, keeping an eye on Natashe, because with her sister in heat, she did not want her touching Heston.  Heston was hers now and she was his.  Nat would not dare try to stand between them or Spring would snap back with a defense... but for now everything seemed fine.  She sunk into Heston's nuzzle, an eruption of butterflies exploding within her, she then proceeded to nuzzle him back once they stood closer, the fur one their sides touching.

"Is this news of Amber's pups?"  She asked curiously.  For if this was she desperately wanted to know all about them, no matter how much she disagreed with her sister's choice of leaving Silver Creek.  She wanted to know their names, what they looked like... did any resemble Amber?  She eyed the Ranger and awaited their response.

RE: Here to bring a message - RIP Valette - January 07, 2017

Valette was surprised that she had all the good wolves to talk to and wagged her tail. "Ah, perfect," she spoke with a smile on her lips. They all seemed pretty interested in her news and worried about Amber. Valette decided not to leave them hanging for too long. "She indeed has given birth. All is well. She has two pups, a son called Sunny and a daughter called Dawn."

Valette hoped that it would be happy news. "She wanted to come herself but couldn't leave them. You are welcome to visit our borders if you feel the need to see her. Oh, and she plans to make the trip to Silver Creek in the summer with the pups when they are older," Valette finished the message and quirked up her lips. Though instantly as she did the tiredness sagged in her body. Perhaps she shouldn't have traveled day and night. But she wanted to get back to her own babies as well.

RE: Here to bring a message - Natashe - January 07, 2017

"Splendide! I'm happy for her! Is she happy?"  She said pleased to have both a niece and a nephew. She had a wide grin on her face and her tail swayed in a relieved fashion as she turned to Spring "Nous sommes des tantes maintenant!"  she exclaimed joyfully. She wished that she could see the little ones now, but knew it would not be permitted. How was Heston involved? Were they all related? That caused some uncomfortable feelings about his and spring's relationship, but who was she to judge her sister's happiness?

She turned to see Heston's reaction, hoping it would give her some insight into his part in Amber's puppies.

RE: Here to bring a message - Heston - January 09, 2017

Heston broke into a wide grin at the news and his tail gave a few wags. "How wonderful for her." He said, grinning at the woman. "And she's happy? Her and her mate?" He couldn't help but ask about the male. If Amber was staying he had clearly stepped forward to be a father...right? He brushed his muzzled against Spring's neck happily, unable to keep from touching her.

"You're an aunt twice over, Spring." He said warmly. When he felt Natashe's eyes on him, he didn't pick up on her curiosity over his involvement. "And you too, Natashe. Congrats." After a moment he chuckled, nudging Spring gently with his shoulder. "I suppose that I'm an uncle now too, aren't I? You think Amber will be pleased to meet her new brother-by-bond?" He whispered the second to Spring, teasing her playfully. In truth he was a little worried about how the black female would take to his and Spring's mating. His tone grew more serious, and was just as quiet as he whispered to her again. "We should tell Amber ourselves, not send her a message, don't you think?"

RE: Here to bring a message - Spring - January 19, 2017

Sunny and Dawn... cute names.  She was quite excited to hear that she would likely get to meet her newest niece and nephew this upcoming summer.  She found herself lost in her thoughts, thinking until Natashe spoke.  "Oui, oui, je suis heureuse pour elle Nat."  She replied to her sister, beaming.

She laughed playfully at Heston's secretive words to her.  "I am sure she will."  Spring whispered back, aiming to nuzzle him.  As Heston grew more serious though, she did too.  "Yes, I agree we should tell her ourselves."  She told him, once again at the tone of a whisper.

Now she turned to Valette, once again adressing the female.   "Thank you for coming to tell us this wonderful news Valette, please tell Amber and her mate how happy I am for the both of them... and if you wouldn't mind though, I am just curious as to where your pack is located," for a moment she paused, "of course only if you don't mind telling me."

RE: Here to bring a message - RIP Valette - January 20, 2017

Valette looked rather surprised when they talked a language she didn't understand. Then again, she wasn't addressed. The female zoned out until the other spoke to her. She casted her tired eyes at the female who spoke to her. "Oh, sure. It is in Rising Sun Valley. You go over the mountain range, through the wilderness and the flatlands until you reach another mountain range. You stay to the east, if you go west you reach the beach."

Hopefully her explanation was fruitful enough for the other wolves. The female knew from her own experience where these locations were as she was a ranger for her profession. Hopefully this would make show her skill on this subject. She was able to find Silver Creek too on just a verbal explanation. She was glad for it, at first scouting didn't come natural to her. "I will be going now. I'd like to get back home."

RE: Here to bring a message - Natashe - January 21, 2017

Still grinning from ear to ear she zoned out during the explanation of how to get to Ambers new home, instead wondering if the babes resembled their mother or a father she had never seen. Coming back to the moment at hand she nodded to the woman "thank you for this lovely news. Have a safe trip" she said sincerely.

RE: Here to bring a message - Heston - January 21, 2017

Her directions made sense and Heston nodded, though he hoped he'd be able to remember them if they ever chose to go visit Amber. The female mentioned leaving right away and Heston felt like he should offer something. A rest in a den somewhere, a meal. It was cold and it sounded like she had a long way to go to get back. He glanced to Spring, hesitant at the boundaries he might be crossing.

"Thank you for your message, Valette. Before you go though, could I offer you some food? Or..." He looked to Spring, addressing this question half to her and half to the traveler. "Or perhaps you could rest for a time in our territory? You've settled some worries for us by bringing the message, truly."

RE: Here to bring a message - Spring - January 31, 2017

Again as Valette spoke she found herself scavenging her memory as to why she looked and just seemed so vaguely familiar... still she ended up with nothing and so sadly she just decided to give it up completely.  She probably was just mistaking the girl for someone else that she wasn't.

As Heston spoke she gave a small nod to comfirm what he said.  "I understand if you must go Valette... and thank you so much for bringing this information to us.  Although if you want Heston is right, would you like us to get you some food... or perhaps you could catch a nap before you go?"  She asked the traveller genuinely, ready to give Valette any of what had been offered if needed.

RE: Here to bring a message - RIP Valette - February 02, 2017

Oh my. That is true, this was Valette's old pack. xD

Valette was about to turn around when the other wished her a safe trip but the male offered her a meal and a sleeping place. Valette was terribly tired, so if she could get a protected place where she could rest and have a meal she didn't really want to decline that. The other female seemed to agree with the male, Heston.

"That is really kindly offered," Valette spoke gratefully. "I would love a meal and a nap. I promise I will be gone until dawn. I can't be away from my pack for too long," she admitted and then smiled. Valette didn't recognize Spring or the scent that lingered here. It had been long ago, and she would forever regret losing track of the pack she was loyal to.

RE: Here to bring a message - Natashe - February 04, 2017

"you can stay in my den if you want. It's big enough for two." She offered readily
Feeling bad for not offering hospitality to their messenger. She looked at Spring and Heston "I can watch over her, though I doubt that anyone will bother her." She gave Valette a quick look and grinned "not that I think you can't take care of yourself" she wanted to make sure that their guest's feelings weren't offended.

RE: Here to bring a message - Heston - February 08, 2017

He was happy to help the woman for bringing this message to them, and he offered Natashe a smile in thanks. "If that's what she wants. I can't imagine anyone here giving her any trouble, though. We're more than happy to help, Valette. I'll fetch some food and just bring it straight to Natashe's den. That way you can sleep with a full belly." He smiled, paused a moment to check if anyone else had anything to add, and then dashed quickly away.

RE: Here to bring a message - Spring - February 21, 2017

Everything seemed to fall into place nicely.  Natashe offere Valette her den and gaurding, while Heston offered to go get her some food.  For a moment she wondered over what she should do, but then eventually decided it wouldn't hurt to give Heston some help with hunting.

"I'll go hunt with Heston," she threw in, "you enjoy you're rest, we'll bring you food soon."  Then she gave a stretch, getting ready to go hunt.

RE: Here to bring a message - RIP Valette - February 22, 2017

Thank you for this thread! I am going to end it here! <3

Valette was extremely flattered that she was offered all these nice things. "Thank you so much. You will be welcomed the same way when visiting Easthollow." Valette would make sure of that when they would come to visit them. As they told her before there might be an option when the weather was better and winter was over, which was understandable. Valette let herself be escorted to the den and after a nice meal she swiftly fell asleep. She was very grateful for their kindness as she had been a wary traveler.
