Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Burke - January 22, 2017 Burke was settling in just fine. For once he didn't need to worry about getting up early or marking the borders. He was not sure if Sebastian wanted him to mark the borders yet. He decided that he might as well ask him. Burke noticed that he had been put lower in rank than his mate. Burke was not entirely pleased about that but he could imagine that his son wanted to test him throughly. And he could admire the assertiveness of his son. He seemed to finally have grown up a bit more, maybe his leadership skills weren't too bad. Burke stood before the alpha den. "Sebastian. I need to talk to you," he spoke in front of the entrance. The older male let out a huff when there wasn't really a response. Burke could be really patient but he also wanted to do something instead of laying around. He poked his head inside, instantly being hit with that puppy smell. Oh right... babies. He instantly regretted popping his head into the den, his eyes falling on his grand children. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Ben - January 22, 2017 Benjamin, who spent most of his time napping, was suddenly awakened by a large, old head. The freezing cold that the other seemed to block he still felt - and his hair poofed up even more. His big, shimmering eyes looked sleepily up at what would later be known as his grandpa - questioning where mama was.
Bird?He muttered, laying his head back down as he crawled onto his back. The world turned upside down, which seemed to humour him for a bit, and he was left smiling up at the older male. Bird!He chipped when he heard some chirping outside the den - but he failed to gather the energy to stand up and walk outside. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Burke - January 22, 2017 Burke looked down at the pup before him. He was quite the big fella, all fluffy with the Rochester coat and it seemed his dots were there too, only a dark version of it. Interesting. Burke glanced over the pup and frowned when he spoke one word. The pup looked almost three months old. He could know the basics of greeting someone right. "God you are a retard. Great," Burke mumbled under his breath, not very impressed with Sebastian's spawn right now. He always had the idea that Sebastian was a weaker link in his linage, even though recently Burke did approve more of him. "Where is your father? I need to talk to him," he questioned the pale pup, wondering if he even had the brain capacity to answer his question. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Ben - January 22, 2017 His smile faded as the older wolf muttered, though much he didn't hear. He just assumed he was muttering to himself how cute Sebastian was - as his parents always did. He giggled. This dude was funny! But he was far more interested in the chirping outside than his grandpa. With much effort did he turn and wriggle his way on his feet and he walked towards the opening when the other's question was asked.
For a moment did he stare at the older male. How should he know? He was just napping, and Burke had been the one to wake him up. Momma and Dadda were always busy, he knew, but they loved him and his siblings.
Dunno. He answered shortly as he fell outside - squeezing his way past his grandpa. With an "oof" Did he land face-first in the snow - the cold snow making him look like a very puffy snowball. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Burke - January 22, 2017 Burke watched the pup as it pushed his fat body to his feet and then tried to scramble his way past him to go outside. What did catch his attention was that the pup was not really afraid of strangers. Maybe that was a good thing, not a skittish little thing. Burke gave him some room to pass and then turned. His docked tail held up, it was so automatic for him to carry his short tail that way. "Didn't he tell you were he went?,"he asked, at least somewhat pleased that the other seemed to understand his questions. Burke let out a puff and sat down, watching the pup in the snow. Pathetic. Though in a way he was a bit reminded of Pyro. Not sure why seeing that the pup was far bigger but perhaps they had the same clumsiness level. Burke shook his head. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Ben - January 22, 2017 He spluttered the snow out of his mouth as he wiggled his butt back up. Stumbling through the snow, he did not go far, making sure to stay near the den and the old man who was still here. Now that Benjamin looked a bit closer, he saw that this man looked a lot like his dad - except for one teensy tiny thing. Father had a tail - one that was amazing to play with, if one would ask Ben - but this old man did not carry with him a sweeper. With brows furrowed, he looked at his own butt and waggled his tail, and then looked back at that of the other. Strange, very strange.
Nope.He answered, still a bit dazzled. He then walked up to the man - particularly his bum that Benjamin found oh-so intriguing. He placed one, big paw on the stump that was left, bowing his front closer to the snow so that his belly got all cold. He tapped it softly, and did not much more. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Ivy - January 23, 2017 Indignant at her naptime being interrupted, Ivy remained still while the big grumpy male and her brother had their little exchange at the mouth of the family's den. The tiny girl wanted to huff and puff at the unnecessary noise both of them were making, but she held it inside, opting instead to listen and watch with one green eye cracked open. She thought it rather rude that the stranger poked his head inside their home without invitation. Most other wolves in the pack gave them plenty of space and only came closer when invited by Sebastian or Pearl. Not that her mother and father were unfriendly wolves who kept their children hidden away - the foursome were a little too adorable for that. Well, Ivy thought she was pretty cute, anyway. When her brother stepped outside into the cold with the darker stranger, Ivy frowned and stood up. She eyed her other siblings, peaceful and still somehow asleep, before rolling her eyes and stalking outside. She watched Benjamin approach the massive male and bat at something near his butt. Her pale features twisted into a look of disgust before settling back into something more stern. Ignoring her tan brother's antics for now, she stomped through the chilly snow as best she could until she was right up next to the wolf who looked like her father. How could he look so much like Sebastian and not actually be him? The tiny girl let out a huff better suited for someone twice her size. Not Daddy!she exlaimed in an accusatory tone. Later in life that'd translate to "who the hell are you?", but her vocabulary wasn't that colorful yet. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Burke - January 26, 2017 Burke watched the indifferent pup. He didn't seem too distressed that his father was gone in the first place. Curious. Burke was just getting grumpier from the pup and his indifference. On top of that, while he was sitting down, the pup decided to jump in his tail. Jump might be an exaggeration, he placed his paw on it. Burke groaned. "Can you not?," he returned. Then when he turned his face to a sound there was another plop. This one had his markings though lighter, like the printer was out of ink. She also seemed far more accusing, somehow that was more to Burke's liking. She was kind of like him! He tipped his head as her voice told her that he wasn't her father. "No, I am not. I am however your Grandfather. I am the father of your father. Your Grandpa," he spoke to her and then also glanced at the other tan pup. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Ben - January 27, 2017 Benjamin cared little for manners and did only hesitate to thump on the stump of a tail the man had left when he told him not to. Why not? It was fun - a hell of a lot more fun than chasing his own tail!
No.He answered bluntly when his sister came tumbling out of the den. She was so dorky and feisty that it made her little brother laugh. Obviously this wasn't daddy - which was probably the reason why Ben wasn't listening to him. He only did things his parents told him to (and even making him do exercise or something with his fat-ass was a tricky task - even if one were the parent). Grandpa Butt.Benjamin snickered as he let his paw thump on the stump a few more times. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Pyro - January 28, 2017 I hope you guys don't mind me butting in!
Pyro couldn't contain his laughter behind his dad when Sebastian's son called Burke "Grandpa Butt". He'd been looking for something to do, for he was sick of laying around not being able to do anything because of the cold and the ice, and he knew he would not regret it as soon as he found this funny little reunion. But his cover was blown, and although he didn't have any intentions to approach without being noticed, Pyro felt exposed for his chuckles had been louder than he would have wanted around his dad. He looked at Ben as though trying to say 'good joke, buddy LMAO' but he realized he hadn't come to meet any of Sebastian's cubs and he felt super awkward instantly. So he sat down, remnants of his laughter still sparkling in his chest while he looked down at Burke's funny little tail swing awkwardly behind his tank-like body. Ah, that bunny butt :') RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Ivy - January 28, 2017 Ivy really didn't want to take her focus off of this strange man who wasn't her father, but Benjamin's blunt response and laughter earned him a withering glare, however brief. The small girl snapped her light green eyes back to Not Daddy when he spoke to her. He laid out their familial situation to her in the barest of terms and though she understood him completely, her attitude toward him hadn't changed one bit. He was her father's father. So what? Her eyes narrowed and she repeated herself: Not. Daddy. Clearly, Ivy was unimpressed. Before further distain could be shown to her hulk of a grandfather, more laughter reached her pale ears. The girl huffed again as her sass level reached ridiculous proportions. Another male came upon them. Great. Where were all the girls around here, anyway? This dark brown wolf didn't say anything as he sat down, though he still looked amused at the interaction between Benjamin and the full grown male masquerading as her father. Hm. He didn't seem to be a threat, so Ivy took a few measured steps toward him and tilted her head. Though a grumpy look still remained on her face, she thought she'd offer introductions in case he didn't know anyone. Ivy,she said clearly with a nod of her head. She swept her small maw to gesture to her otherwise occupied brother: Benjamin. And as for the giant weirdo with them? Not Daddy. She finished up her succinct presentation with another sharp nod. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Burke - January 31, 2017 Burke huffed when the boy called him Grandpa Butt. He bared his teeth at the small child. "It is Grandpa, or Grandpa Burke," he spoke to the pale boy. Yet it seemed that he was too retarded to even comprehend that. Even the young female seemed to keep calling him 'Not Daddy'. Pyro joined him, who seemed to laugh at all of this. Burke eyed at his son for finding this rather funny. He was not amused though. The grey pup seemed to step forward and introduce herself to Pyro. Their names were Benjamin and Ivy. He was not sure what to think of it. He watched the interaction curiously. He leaned a bit towards Pyro. "It seems Ivy here got my grumpy look," he pointed out, which made him less annoyed with the youngsters. Especially if he imagined how Sebastian would try to deal with the pups grumpiness. It didn't seem she had the same appreciation for his grumpiness. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Ben - February 03, 2017 His ears swivelled atop his fat head as he picked up chuckles and he soon found the source. A young male with a chocolate coat - eyes like the setting sun and brows almost the same colour as Benjamin's poofy fur. It didn't take him long to figure out the other boy was laughing at his joke and he instantly liked him - more than Grandpa Butt. When he was corrected, he shrugged.
's what I said - Grandpa Butt.He insisted, just knowing that he had picked up his name perfectly. He watched his big sister introduce herself and him to the chocolate boy, and Benjamin continued playing behind his grandfather for a short while before stumbling toward the boy himself.
Beeeeeen! He called, finding it only appropriate to introduce himself too, even if Ivy had already taken care of that. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Pyro - February 05, 2017 [table width=80%][tr][td] His laughter was met with the stark cold of Burke's non-amused eyes, and that was the end of the joke. Pyro had no intentions to get on Burke's bad side for a little bit longer, perhaps for the rest of his life if possible, and although he didn't see the problem with adding a little bit of sugar to his life he understood that Burke was a type 2 diabetic. He did not manage sugar very well. Luckily, the spotlight that had been placed upon Pyro by his father was promptly stolen by his niece's well deserving personality. Ivy, Benjamin. Both names were checked and stored (Ben even double-checked) and Pyro gave the little ones a smile before casting a quick glance at the one that the silver girl assured was not her father. Nice to meet you guys! I'm Pyro... Grandpa Butt's sonhe jokes to explain with an awkward smile as he rubs the fat one's head gently before casting a shy glance towards his dad. Ben's comment was funny no matter how much displeasure it caused to Burke, and it got a good laugh out of the brown Rochester which was a strange sight while around his father. She's a true Rochester, isn't she?he agrees with amusement. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Ivy - February 10, 2017 Whenever the male who looked suspiciously like her father spoke, Ivy found herself completely bored. She knew exactly what he was saying - even caught the flash of teeth aimed at her dear Benjamin - but didn't find his words to be all that important. The pale girl scowled openly at him as her brother doubled down on the whole "Grandpa Butt" thing. She let out a sharp huff and pointed her nose in the air at the suggestion that she'd inherited anything from Not Daddy. As if! Ignoring him for now, she managed a strained smile to the male who introduced himself as Pryo. That was all wiped away, of course, when he commented that she was a true Rochester. Rochester? Oh, no - Ivy was so much more than that! Rochester-Ioslia,she corrected with the seriousness of a school marm. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Burke - February 13, 2017 Burke decided that the boy was clearly far more stupid than Ivy was. She seemed very keen on getting her opinion across. Burke's eyes glanced at his own son, warning him not to take that nickname too far. He liked to have his respect. However, he could agree with his words that she was very Rochester like. It surprised him, since the pup made it clear that she was also 'Ioslia' which was probably her mother's side. Burke found Pearl very easy going and friendly he could not really see how that referred to this young pup. Burke snorted out a laugh. "You can call me Grandpa," he decided to tell them once again. Clearly the Rochesters were getting more stupid with each generation. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Ben - February 13, 2017 It was not that Benjamin was stupid - he just cared so little that it made it impossible for him to learn anything. It was a miracle he spoke whole sentences, otherwise he would've been royally fucked. He stared at the younger male, listening carefully as he also called the great gray Grandpa Butt.
Seeeeee? He asked proudly. Was right aallll along! He exclaimed happily, glad he had gotten the name just right. Pyro!He called happily as the other young man rubbed his head, gently scooting a little closer to the warm, chocolate boy. RE: Grandpa Burkiebutt at your service. - Pyro - February 18, 2017 Pyro gigled at Ben's comment, looking at his father as though telling him to admit that his stupidity was funny. He knew that his father was a serious man, cold even, sometimes short of mean, but mom seemed to believe that his age had a lot to do with that so Pyro accepted it as it was. He knew that his father was an old man who wanted nothing but to care for his family, and that was all he could even ask of life. The gold in his eyes were dedicated for a moment to the girl, who noted the importance of her full name with the seriousness that could only come from her Rochester blood, and he laughed at the irony. "And what do the Rochester-Iosilas do for fun around here?" he asked, hoping that this was a good chance to bond with his little relatives. |
