Evelyn figured that someone had to have noticed the rate at which the prey animals were dying. It only made sense that in a pack of all fully-functioning wolves that at least one would've had a thought about the plentiful meals which plagued the territory, both in and out. Just to reassure herself that the Ceannasach was aware, she called for him with a slight pinge of worry in her voice, though (hopefully) not enough to alarm him or send the wrong message. If other animals were dying and fleeing the Wilds, didn't it mean wolves would be as well?
