Even tramp has his Achilles heel - Knew - January 30, 2017 Admittedly, Knew was on edge ever since he almost died - from what, he wasn't one hundred precent sure of. It was a combination of things, he was malnourished already because he never learned to hunt, and with the sudden drop of temperature his body hardly had enough energy to keep him going, he was just damn lucky to have his pearly Pidgeon wherever he went, or else he would be deep beneath the snow in a frigid grave. He was still so delusional to believe his family hadn't thrown him out, and that he wasn't that bad, but one look at the matted, scrawny dog it was obvious not much couldn't take him down. A deep, sable gaze cast over the Bypass, this was his new home along with his Empress, Snow, Ill-see-bruh, and the curious wolfdog Mawk, the last two he had yet to nickname. Ever since his near death experience he'd had a full stomach, provided by Gwen which he would never complain about, but for once he pitied that someone worked for him. A part of the matted dog's brain wished to spoil her as much as possible, but right now that was rather impossible so instead he followed her demands of eating and relaxing. RE: Even tramp has his Achilles heel - Moray - January 31, 2017 As the year wore on so did the weather, it seemed. Frigid winds melted into cool winter breezes and clear skies began to return. From the east a herd of white tailed deer had come to lay cloven feet upon what was once blizzard-ridden and sparse, bringing with them a flame eyed wanderer close on their trail. He watched with hunters' diligence as they paused to graze, ceasing his own tremors to survey the newly discovered kingdom; snow laden and oh so new. Many-a-pause gave way to the wilder mind and it was no different now. For so long he'd sat, chained to law, tethered to his supposed responsibility that one day inheritance would be his. But he hadn't wanted that. "Free," he'd murmur as his belly met with white flakes, tail leaving feathered tattoos as the deer he'd watch and observe. The presence of another he was oblivious to, or perhaps merely ignorant for the sake of saving breath. Hello!
RE: Even tramp has his Achilles heel - Knew - February 03, 2017 Knew suddenly inhaled a wave of a strangers scent, his ears lifted high in the air and instantly he walked in their direction - Knew loved conversation, because he enjoyed talking, it was rather difficult to shut him up. Though, another sense of excitment went through him as he continued closing the space between him and the fellow wolf, a new recruit. How else could he make Gwen proud then to add another member to Ganador? Once spotting the ebony pelted male he barked his presence, unaware of the deer they had been stalking. "Hello, Chap!" He said, his voice upbeat and joyful, it wasn't often the dog didn't have a smile on his maw. Fortunately, this was another distraction to the cold - despite the present days warming up rather noticeably. His tail wagged slightly behind him, cocking his head to the side as his eyes gleamed with potential. Hey! Sorry for the wait, busy week!
RE: Even tramp has his Achilles heel - Moray - February 05, 2017 Moray had been biding his time with the herd, perhaps for too long, however there had been one cloven individual that'd caught his eye. An elderly doe hanging back from the group limped forlornly behind the others, lame in her left leg and an easy target. The dust-coated youth wasted no time in rising his still body from the snow, muscles tensing in preparation for the chase as a gutteral bark broke the silence. Anger bit at his stomach and he choked back a snarl as he forced his legs into a windmill of movement, a pointless attempt to gain ground on his spooked prey. But alas, they had already fled and the smoked devil swung his shoulders round to face the disturber with a steely glare. "Idiot," he rumbled under his breathe, though it came out as more of a higher squeak. Curse his young larynx. The intruder (well, Moray was the real one) was fair coated and jovial, not something a disgruntled yearling favoured seeing after a failed hunt. It was fair to say annoyance was what drove his paws towards the man in a purposeful, wannabe menacing gait No worries!
