He walks down the slope of the mountain, his body gliding down the darkened cliffside. He is unused to living on mountainsides, nor stalking down its slope quietly. But their new land has its advantages: their elevated position and walled sides protect them, allowing them to look down on any incoming enemies, who they would see leagues away.
It is from this elevated position, this overlook, that he sees the forest tucked against the mountain in the valley, fed by the river that flows from the mountains above the Watch. He reaches the willow-filled forest by midnight, the moon's reflected light the only thing that illuminates his silvery white fur as he strides through the woods.
