Looking like a true survivor - Koume - March 22, 2017 @Atshen ♥ The little flame had grown restless as the rivers in her fur slowly but surely got more prominent - a ring of flaming orange around her first blue eye. Mother - where was she? She needed mother and her approval - needed her sister for her warmth and comfort, but both were missing as Koume returned from a little adventure. The snow had melted and it smelled a lot better - like heat and re-birth, as it should be. She had gone beyond the phase of needy, and even though she yearned for a cuddle and a hug, she decided it was time to leave the nest. Her little adventures had only taken her so far, and she found it time to go beyond - go into the forest like any other. One of them - she would be one of them.
She stumbled with a clear head, a determined look on her young face. A forest fire - a soul as old as time - she was Koume and out for adventure.
RE: Looking like a true survivor - Atshen’s Ghost - March 26, 2017 Atshen had kept close to the woods in the days that had passed since the war with Teaghlaigh. The collective bites and scratches that littered his body had finally caught up to him, causing the two-toned Silencer to take it easy in light of his injuries. He was often seen in the shadow of the Dark Master when he was out and about, but such sightings had been a rarity with his condition. Today was different, though. Atshen had found himself wandering from his normal haunts and towards the heart of the woods with no destination planned. He was much like a tumbleweed in a barren desert, going with the wind as he lumbered about without purpose. But, soon enough, Atshen found purpose in a nearby figure and he stopped suddenly as he looked to the child. "You're far from home," he called out roughly, finding himself with no malice despite his previous intentions. At this moment, she was of no threat to him, despite his mother's desires. RE: Looking like a true survivor - Koume - March 29, 2017 She minded her own business - not bothering anyone. It were nice woods they lived in and Azura found it to be quite pleasant beneath her feet. So quiet and yet so restless, a perfect combination of eerie and beautiful. It was all she desired and she knew that someday one would claim it fore good. She'd be that one. The wind rustled - quietness became footsteps and soon she stared at a much bigger male with glowing embers for eyes - his fur dark like hers. She tipped her head at his statement, disagreeing.
This is home. She said simply. RE: Looking like a true survivor - Atshen’s Ghost - April 15, 2017 Atshen is surprised by the fluidity of the other's statement and freezes for a moment as a result, training his gaze to the young child. "Yes, but this is not your cave," he replied after a beat, recovering quickly from the surprise, his voice lacking as he looked upon the Spiderling. Atshen had not had the greatest experiences with those younger than he and he had no intentions of humoring the girl in any way. RE: Looking like a true survivor - Koume - April 19, 2017

The little flame snorted softly, quite surprised someone so big could have so little brains. Her tail moved swiftly around, young face simply glittering with wit and the intent of pushing him in the dirt.
Then I'm far from the cave. She said, moving quite stumbly around him. So what? She questioned sinister - somewhat sadistically in a way.

RE: Looking like a true survivor - Atshen’s Ghost - April 21, 2017 Koume had spirit; Atshen could not deny that. Fixing his eyes upon the smaller child, the Silencer's expression grew dark and he pulled himself a step closer to her, pulling himself to full height as he looked down to her. "Does your mother know where you are?" He asked, knowing well that he could do nothing to harm him. His alliance with Nyx and Damien would crumble before him if any harm came to the rightful Dark Master's niece. RE: Looking like a true survivor - Koume - April 24, 2017

Her face remained neutral - even as a smile tugged at the corner of her mouth when he came closer. Her little, sleek tail raised with him as her blue eyes met the sea of flames that were his. Oh - she liked this! Not mother nor her siblings played this dance of prickling hackles with her.
Perhaps. She responded with an up-to-nothing-good grin. What does it matter to you, anyway? She questioned, smile wavering as her head tipped to the side - faking child-like innocence in the blink of an eye.

RE: Looking like a true survivor - Atshen’s Ghost - May 01, 2017 Even with his unintelligence, Atshen understood why it was of the uptmost importance to keep Koume safe. With his alliance with Damien blossoming, Atshen found it wise to keep her and her siblings safe, even with Nemesis' conflicting wishes. "You need to be kept safe," replied Atshen, his voice lacking emotion. Not being the best at socalizing, the Silencer fell silent as he began to realize that he had nothing more to contribute to the subject matter. Despite this, he lingered, curious to see just how she was react to his words. RE: Looking like a true survivor - Koume - May 06, 2017

She rolled his eyes at his emotionless words - believing not a single one of them. Safe - pfft! She was perfectly safe. She wasn't as dumb as her siblings nor was she as clumsy as she used to be.
The only thing in my way is you.She stated, wanting to finally pass him and explore the rest of the woods. This was no time for games anyway; it was a time to train. I have things to take care of that will make me feel very safe, so buzz off.She wanted her words to sound threatening but with her cute and youthful voice it was hard to do so.

RE: Looking like a true survivor - Atshen’s Ghost - May 10, 2017 Not appreciating the way in which Koume spoke to him, the pale-bellied Silencer grew rigid in his stance. He felt an instinctual flicker of dominance light within his breast, and such mannerisms told him to do just the opposite of what the child had demanded. After all, he was the one with more seniority in both age and rank. Despite his urges to beat her to a pulp, Atshen showed a rare moment of restraint as he looked upon the Spiderling with a lifted chin. Though he did not speak, he made his answer evident in how he held himself. If this were not enough for the cub, Atshen would not hesitate to correct her mannerisms and show her what he was trying to get across to her. RE: Looking like a true survivor - Koume - May 12, 2017

The ridge of Koume's muzzle sported some wrinkles as she tried to keep in an ugly yet childish snarl. She sighed, releasing the tension from her young vessel in a mere instant. She was extremely good at switching between moods and strategies to get passed an obstacle; especially one as annoying as the wolf before her.
Oh, please sir! I simply want to explore the woods without my mama. She begged in a higher, youthful voice - not the least bit intimidated or scared... Koume wasn't ever scared, right?

RE: Looking like a true survivor - Atshen’s Ghost - May 15, 2017 "No," replied Atshen to Koume's plea, feeling as though her voice felt like nails scraping along slate. Feeling himself stiffen at the sensation that she brought about him, he shook himself in an attempt to rid himself of how he felt. "Go home, Koume," he said sternly, knowing only which twin was before him with the variant in her mismatched eyes. RE: Looking like a true survivor - Koume - May 20, 2017

She glared at him angrily, not pleased with her failed plan nor the dominance he showed. She huffed a nonchalant sound.
This is home and I'm free to explore it!She reasoned in a darker tone. If you're so worried about it, why not join me?She questioned then, not ready to give up on the night nor the man before her.

RE: Looking like a true survivor - Atshen’s Ghost - May 25, 2017 Koume was persistent, but, unfortunately for the child, Atshen was stubborn. "No," he replied sternly with a lash of his tipped tail, "I'm your leader, and you do as I say." There was gravel to his tone as if indicating that he was at the end of the rope of his patience. There was only so long that the Silencer could hold onto it before he lost control of himself. RE: Looking like a true survivor - Koume - May 27, 2017

All hope had been lost - the interest of her in the boy fading and disappearing with a twinkle of her eyes. Fine, she'd find another way around him.
FINE! STUPID-FACE!She yelled as she turned and stormed off - back to her den. There, she'd nestle against her siblings and mother, still breathing heavily from her outburst.

RE: Looking like a true survivor - Atshen’s Ghost - May 28, 2017 Koume's outburst had very little effect on the stone-faced Silencer, and in the wake of her emotional eruption, she gave in and turned tail towards the den. He lingered for a few moments to make sure that she was doing as she was told and when it became apparent that she was, Atshen also turned tail from where they had bickered back and forth. With their conversation behind him, Atshen prowled through the shadows in search of something else to do. |
