bleed your sins - Jae-Hyeong - April 03, 2017

@Arturo (& @Lotte for visibility) : official business-y business stuff

Jae was furious, and she had a damn good reason for it.

The rage wasn't due to the actions of any wolves within these regions (so far as she could tell), but moreso over her own ignorance. How had she allowed herself to become so lax as a leader that something as detrimental as this could have occured? She was without any of her followers behind her in a completely new territory with no recollection as to how she had arrived. Nonetheless, the future was still in her control, and she refused to let it slip once more.

Jae had travelled from her small nook upstream down to the borders of a relatively new pack, so far as she could tell. While she had taken shelter with Jhala and Reek, along with their wolves, there had been no other packs this far up North. It wasn't until she'd left and found her way into the hidden falls that she had even managed to pick up their scent.

As the ringing in her ears found temporary relief beside the running creek, Jae ruffled herself into a poofy show and howled for a leader to come meet her at the borders. Should she find herself choosing to settle in the coming months, it would make sense for a bond to be established with nearby Alphas, if not something beyond a cordial "hi-bye" deal. If she could do something for them, perhaps they could do something for her — a working relationship was much better than a lazy one.

RE: bleed your sins - Dagfinn - April 03, 2017

The voice was somewhat familiar, but not enough for Dagfinn to place a name to it. Either way, it didn't belong here, and Dagfinn darted toward it with his furs bristling and a low growl rumbling in his throat. Lotte, during her few waking hours, had explained (through wide yawns and low, murmured endearments to her cubs) what had caused them to leave Ravensblood. He'd cursed himself for not being there, but in the same breath, had promise to make sure it did not happen again.

So he emerged from the trees with a leery snarl writ silently across his face, warning the woman that he would have no funny business here - he would not have it.

"Who are you?" he barked, but as soon as he'd said the words, he stopped and quirked his head at the girl. "Oh hey, you're in my pack!"

RE: bleed your sins - Arturo - April 04, 2017

The howl that rises up, summoning him — not by name but specific enough to request for leadership — is an unwelcome one. It sets the gangster on edge. Ceannasach has yet to approach the wolves of the Glade but the whirlwind surrounding Teaghlaigh has left him with little time to focus on much else. Olive and Dakarai’s banishment has left him down two wolves and the feral ex commander while he escorts the pair out of the Hinterlands. Arturo hopes that Declan does not decide to go rogue — without his brother Conan whom he has not seen in some time the feral brother is unpredictable: and worse yet unchained. That is a concern for another day. Arturo does not think the feral Comhlach will deviate from The Family — as much of a wild card as he is he isn’t without loyalty.

His steps quicken as he draws nearer to the Strath’s borders, his hackles bristling as his tail flags over his head. Being in the territories that touch the Strath is much too close for Arturo’s liking and his lip curls back as he struggles to get it out of his system. He cannot help it. He is territorial to begin with but with his infant children nestled against his wife while safely tucked in the King Sequoia at the very heart of the Strath he is even more so. Yet, by the time he approaches the scene, his gaze of twin suns finding the stranger first before going to Dagfinn whose presence surprises him upon the borders given that he is a guest among them but Arturo appreciates it. He half has the mind to ask Dagfinn if he’ll just stay but as it is not the time holds his tongue other than to make his approach known with a smoky, “Brother,” as he slides to Dagfinn’s side but his gaze fixates upon the woman. “What is your business here?” He demands calmly, impassively but expectant of an answer nevertheless.
