Chapter 1 - Noor - April 03, 2017 @Rhona & @Gwen : At this point, she is 100% sure. Since she has had a few pre-game litters, I'm going to play it like she's showing a bit early (she's only 2-3 weeks!)
There had been much to consider in the days leading up to this visit. For one, Noor wasn't quite sold on all of Gwen's sympathy and acceptance. In fact, the Empress's compassion had done nothing but make the expectant mother feel even worse about the strain her litter would soon place on the pack. With the new knowledge of the halfling litter also on its way, Noor felt as if her brood might soon find themselves unwelcome. In addition, she wasn't quite sure if she would be able to trust the woman who had been recommended as her midwife. The two had never met before, and Noor didn't fancy the idea of making her first impression as a pregnant widow. She had cared for many whelps on her own before these, so it almost came off as an insult that Gwen would think this would be any different an experience. Nearing a clearing in the middle of the territory, a howl sounded for both Gwen and Rhona to approach, so that the three of them might be able to discuss the coming months. There would be no conversations in regards to the situation without all three of them present while Noor was able to stop it. RE: Chapter 1 - Rhona - April 03, 2017 The howl sounded as Rhona was digging up some goldenseal she had fortuitously come across. She was digging around the plant in order to preserve the root, which could be used for a wide range of ailments including, but not limited to upper respitory infections, bleeding after birth, and even infected wounds. She rubbed her muzzle against her forearm to get the dirt off of it and began trotting in the direction of the call. The tone and the notes of the howl had signified that the wolf was calling Empress and herself. Approaching the clearing, Rhona spied another of her packmembers she had yet to meet. A tall, lovely female with a vari-colored pelt. "Hello!" She called, a friendly smile upon her maw. "I'm sorry we haven't met yet, I'm Rhona." |
