A duty to be upheld - Feyre - April 09, 2017 Putting Feyre here as a sentry for mercenary purposes, anyone can join if they like :)
She slid along the shore with feline stealth, her own glistening reflection a mere blur dancing upon the water as she prowled. It was this menial activity that kept her mind sharp in the darkest of nights. The moon was a wraith-silver orb hanging in the obsidian sky, its light shimmering off of her ivory pelt. This stars sprinkled across the earths ampitheater winked down upon the fae. With keen eyes, she searched the shadows, intent on finding someone. Whether to fight or to cast idle conversation in this dark eve, she did not yet know. With a panting breath, she paused her stride; padding towards the teardrop-silver ripples with ease. Leaning her lithe form down to satisfy her thirst, she smiled briefly at her own reflection; slightly distorted by the ringlets cast by her maw touching the liquid. Drinking to her heart's content, she nearly moaned with pleasure at the ice-cold droplets sliding down her throat. Lifting her head from the water, she peered behind herself. She could not let herself become too distracted, for she risked herself when being too far outside of her territory. RE: A duty to be upheld - Rok - April 10, 2017 "OI!" really, it was no wonder that Rok had gotten himself gloriously, horribly lost. really, it was a wonder he had not done so sooner. he was a horrible navigator, among many other things at which he was horrible- the only strength was fighting, and guarding, and loyalty. if he had more than a teaspoon of emotional capabilities, he might have missed the old monarch who everyone seemed to want to kill, and who it had been his task to guard (and prevent the death of). "Girl! Da fuck is this place?" he cried hoarsely, barreling toward the only living soul he had seen in days. really, he might have been fear-inspiring, a huge bear of a wolf (perhaps one of the largest of his species) charging at high speeds toward the other. he would slow, should he make it closer without she fleeing, to stare at her with an odd intensity for the rock. RE: A duty to be upheld - Feyre - April 10, 2017 "Oi" The word paused her movements momentarily. With a jerking movement, she swung her head to view who owned the disembodied voice. She bit back a short gasp as the hulking male lumbered over to her. As a petite fae, he was nearly three times her size. She felt he haunches raise ever so slightly, her back paws sinking into the muddy bank as she stepped backwards. She lent the male a slight smile as he bounded nearer. Please don't come closer. She kept herself calm, although her thoughts were scared. She was eased by his question. He did not seem to be knowledgeable about the area, a lost loner. It was laughable, usually a loner is in a constant state of being lost, as it was an effect of exploration. "Err...Alpine Lake, the largest one in the Hinterlands." She tilted her head to study him. |
