Now now, don't be so icy - Feyre - April 10, 2017 Fastforward this to 4/15/17, to express travel time. So sorry for the length, but I just wanted to get it out there to start @Krypton The chill air of the spring morning reaped plumes of her breath as she hovered over her fresh kill. The wraith was the picture of death itself; crimson splattered upon her icy torso. The sweetness of metal rested on her tongue, blood drying upon the hair of her maw. With sure footing, she paced around the plump hair, her hunger clawinng at her from her lon journey. With a satisfied puff of air, she bent her head down to quench her pains, and yet, a flicker in the tall grasses was caught by her peripherials. Whatever it was, she was not willing to share and let out a shuff of warning. RE: Now now, don't be so icy - RIP Krypton - April 10, 2017 she had been out again, but this time it was not as peceful as before. krpyotn was on the prowl for something caught her attention, something that caught her nose and drew her in like an insect to a light. it was the smell of blood, fresh and still flowing into the frisky air. the beast could no longer feel the boundaries about if anyone killed it or not, something about the scent truly illusioned her, which was different from her original motherhen personality. perhaps, it was because krypton was seeking a thrill now because she had been on guard/puppy-sitting duty for quite some time at home. she wanted some excitement, something that would get her to feel her heart beat against her chest and ribs like nothing else. she wanted to feel that rush again. being three, most likely four by now, years old- she felt things become numbing and old, she felt old, she felt ancient. she wanted to feel young again. the beast lumbered through the area, drawing closer into the scent before noticing she was making noise. she held still, her entire body hid behind a wall of grass before she slowly pursued. out of the grass wall poked through an agouti muzzle, dripping with saliva as frosty teeth were exposed in a snarl, blank lips scrunched up with many folds. then came the rest of her head, her glassy eyes glazed over with something that seemed to take her real focus away, her real personality. ears pinned flat against her skull, all of her hair stood on edge. and the rumbles of growls empited from her throat and poured into the chilling atmosphere. it was a rare sight to see her act in such a way that someone could call her feral, which she was always far from. RE: Now now, don't be so icy - Feyre - April 10, 2017 Attack based off of roll outcome
The beast of a wolf lumbered out of the tall grasses, a cruel expression marring the woman's features. It seemed as though the fae wanted Feyre's kill, which darkened her thoughts. No. She snarled at the woman, her fur standing to attention along with her plumage of a tail. The word slipped from her mouth, her voice dripping with bloodlust, "Mine." It was unusual for her, a woman of wit and elongation, to utter a single word. The savage effect of the word accented her blood-soaked pelt and wild appearance, the opposite of her usually regal appearance. Without thought or planning, simply feral anger, she flug herself at the fae. Slipping her sharp canines into the scruff of the woman's neck with flawless accuracy. She was an assassin, not a brute. Quickly backing away from the woman, she snarled agian in warning. My next hit is not going to be so...menial. "Leave it alone." RE: Now now, don't be so icy - RIP Krypton - April 10, 2017 ooc: same for me it happened in a flash for krypton. she heard the single word of the light colored woman in front of her before she had flung herself to the brute. the agouti felt teeth sink into her scruff before she pulled herself back with a sharp command. normally by now, krypton would've just upped and left the scene completely, she had no pride and felt no shame in doing so. but she wanted the kill, she wanted the thrill, she wanted this. this is how she used to be when she was still at home, rumbling with her dad, coming home with new wounds to treat. this was the life for her when she was reckless. tuning back in, the beast took her turn, thrusting forward like a bullet with her jaws open to her shoulder. krypton wasn't an assassin here, she had no skill or etiquette. all she knew was that if she kept her pinned long enough, she could make her getaway. with the thought in mind, krypton launched herself with her jaws open and latched onto the shoulder. her goal was to get the other woman down to the ground and hold her there with her weight, but getting her there was the hard part, for now, all she had was the shoulder, and she wasn't willing to let go. RE: Now now, don't be so icy - Feyre - April 10, 2017 This fight was far quicker than her previous, and she hoped it continued along this path. The femme just wanted to eat her kill in peace, savoring a quick glance at the suculent meat. The glance must have been too long, for the sharp ivories of her opponent sank into her shoulder. She could feel the rasp of bone on bone as the womans canines scraped Feyres shoulder blade. With a cry of pain, she ripped herself away from the fae, slamming into her and taking yet another bite out of the woman's opposite scruff. She did not feel the similar grinding of bone on bone, yet she felt the woman stiffen beneath her. Once more, she released her hold, this time locking her steely amber gaze with the wolfess. She could feel her anger pouring into her glare. She was not going to lose this battle. RE: Now now, don't be so icy - RIP Krypton - April 10, 2017 ooc: mobile post the felt adrenaline pour through the rest of her body, fueling her actions and her choices. The cry of pain went upon deaf ears, Krypton lost her grasp as the female managed to get away and yet again attack. Her attack did not change, it was upon her thick scruff before slamming herself into the burly woman. Krypton forced herself to stay quiet through biting her tongue, drawing blood and stiffened her body to ward off the bite. Once more the female drew back and locked gazes with the beast. Krypton felt the heat from the other's gaze and returned it fully. Her eyes narrowed into reptilian slits before the agouti propelled forward once again. this time, her jaws went for the neck and latched onto it tightly, hoping to get the final message across that this wasn't going to end. RE: Now now, don't be so icy - Feyre - April 10, 2017 Its chill, Im mobile rn too (If you couldn't tell XD), I used my score to get Feyre out.
Her hit was beautiful, precisely aimed to wound and not kill. The mettalic blood of her kin tainted the flavour of the hare upon her tongue. With a distasteful grimace, she gagged. The other woman's shriek pierced Feyre's walls, causing a shiver of empathy to run cold through her veins. The darkness in the woman's gaze was enough to make Feyre falter. Perhaps she does need the hare more than me. Trapped in her thoughts, her reactions where slow as the the wold charged. Within seconds, sharp incisors pierced her pelt draping her vulnerable neck. A squeltched cry of suprise came from her as she froze. With care, yet precise and sharp movements, she used her next move to yank herself away from the woman, surviving the hold. Slowly, she backed away, he eyes shifted from her kill and back to the woman. With a ring of red springing from her neck, she nodded to the hare. It was her kill yes, but this woman clearly felt the need to cost herself injuries to have it. Perhaps to her, bleeding out was a better way to die than starvation, but not to Feyre. Without speaking, she started to slip into the brush, a ghost in the meadow. RE: Now now, don't be so icy - RIP Krypton - April 11, 2017 ooc: sounds good! she was bleeding, not profoundly, but enough for her to stop and flee. krypton was an aspiring medic, she knew a thing or two about treating wounds and such. cleaning herself up would be no problem for her, though she could feel herself worry for the other fae. it seemed like krypton's stand was enough to show her strength and willingness to keep going, for the ghostly pale female pulled back and began to slip away into the brush like she was trying to dissapear. krypton, with a bloody face and scruff, charged forward once more as if she was going to punk the other before skidding to a halt. she got what she wanted. perhaps it was not the kill she wanted but just the thrill of the fight again. it ignited something within her, something that made her want to do it again sometime. perhaps, some time later after she healed her wounds. for now, she picked up her prize gently before heading the opposite direction, dissapearing into the tall grass towards her home, making sure that she would stop on the way to wash herself off and eat. |
