is it the same for you? - Mouse - July 10, 2017 for @Redshank !!
antichrist - the 1975
As the sun kept moving across the sky, draping itself in veils of clouds from time to time, Remi kept moving across the confines of the Vale. So far everything seemed to be alright in this new place, this new home. He was proud he had found a pack so fast. But then, as he continued to trot around, a question rose in his mind. Would his parents have been proud too? Did it matter now? The answer to one of those questions was no... he just didn't know for which. In an attempt to rid himself of these sudden questions that roused a wave of nausea in him, Remi decided that what he needed was a bit of fun. So with his tail raising behind him and falling into a rythmic wag he began to search something, anything, to distract himself with. It wasn't long until he found it though. In front of him, a couple of yards away laid what would be this day's perfect job. There was a small opening on the ground, most probably the entrance/exit of a small critter's den. A quick sniff confirmed it and so Remi, with his tail still wagging, got down to buisness. He didn't mind getting his paws dirty, in fact, that was exactly what he did as he began to dig, dig and dig. RE: is it the same for you? - Redshank - July 11, 2017 If he wasn't patrolling and marking the borders, Redshank was within them, either getting up to his usual antics or trying to seek out Rannoch to bug him about whatever it was he wanted to know that day. The leader was nowhere to be found at the moment, however, and Redshank hadn't the patience to search for him for any longer than the short time he had looked for him. He gave a huff of annoyance at the absence of the Alpha, instead making his way to the forest of the Vale to check on the bone he had buried some days ago, if it was still there. The scratch of claws against dirt and soft grunts caught his attention, and the boy veered slightly towards the sound, curious. He came across the stranger who was intent on unearthing...something, and stared for a moment. His scent was wild still, a mix of no single one territory but there were hints of Rannoch's own smell on him, which means he was a newcomer. Redshank tilted his head before casting a glance around, suddenly wondering if maybe this was where he had buried his bone? "If y'dig up a bone, it's mine," he stated bluntly, turning back to the other boy with a quick growl. RE: is it the same for you? - Mouse - July 11, 2017 yay hai :v
Dirt and small rocks flew behind him as he continued to restlessly dig and stomp on the ground in front of him. By now, the small orifice that was the entrance had widened, and though there was still no sign of movement or anything, the scent of an actual living critter, a rabbit, began to fill Remi's nostrils with increasing intensity. This only made the creamy Ostrega move faster, his tongue now hanging from his mouth as his front paws flung everything that obstaculized his way to his potential first hunt since his arrival. Then, a sudden growl made Remi stop in his tracks, as if he had been caught with redhanded (which was partly true). He turned to look over his shoulder at the wolf who had interrupted his task , his crystalline eyes falling upon the young male's bright orangy orbs and his tail flicking in greeting. Though the stranger's voice seemed angry, or at least intended to appear as so, Remi did not feel threatened. "im trying to dig up something cooler with lots of bones too" he barked with a grin before spinning back to the the hole in front of him, his paws moving mindlessly as he continued to dig, dig, and dig. RE: is it the same for you? - Redshank - July 30, 2017 He seemed to get the stranger's attention, but only for a moment. He turned to him and Redshank caught sight of his glacial blue eyes for a second before he focused back on his task. The other boy stared, brow furrowed in confusion. "Wot?" he simply responded, decidedly moving out of the way as dirt was flung in his direction. He would have snapped again at the strange man for having the gall to dig where he was standing but he was now much more interested in what he was intent on unearthing. "Th'fuck are you talkin' about?" he queried with a sneer, allowing himself to swear seeing as Rannoch didn't seem to be around at all today. RE: is it the same for you? - Mouse - August 05, 2017 its two bebes ;__;
With no signs of being close to slowing down, Remi continued to tear the earth beneath his paws, his ears however twisted back towards the dark coated male so he could hear him in case he had something to say.And boy, he did. A loud chuckle broke from Remi as he noted the obsenity in the younger male's language. The creamy Ostrega had too found some kind of thrill in being a dirty mouth when he was younger and his mother wasn't around to scold him. "just trust me, bro" he barked as his paws continued to move with reckless fury. The hole was widening, and though he could still not see anything between the dirt and muck the characteristic smell of fear that continued to fill his nose was promising. "cover me in case it slips past me" he barked shooting the boy a quick glance to make sure he had heard him before going back to his restless task. He went on for a minute or two, his tail suddenly raising as he caught a glimpse of a cotton-like figure wriggling underneath the destroyed vestiges of its home. The mere sight of the critter, a small baby, was enough to make Remi go into beast mode. With his lips pulled back to reveal a snarl, and a vicious growl erupting from between his teeth he launched himself towards the babe. His teeth met the flesh quickly, there wasn't much resistance, just a quick spasm before Remi crushed the critter's ribcage between his mouth. It was dead within seconds. Remi turned to the boy, the rabbit hanging limply from his mouth. He was about to drop it and crack an innapropiate joke (probably) but the sound of tiny claws against the dirt made him turn again. In between the debris, almost blending perfectly with the chocolately color of the earth, there was another baby. Remi's head turned brusquely to Redshank, his eyes widening as he barked muffledly between the fur of the one in his mouth. "get 'im!" |
