your friendly neighborhood major - Major - July 30, 2017 Major is snacking in the cache! I don't want him to die today, but y'all can chase him and beat him up a bit <3
Major was a bit too bold for his own good. He'd snuck past the borders of a mountain pack on a dare from a sparrow. The dumb bird had straight up told him, "someone told me you wouldn't go in there and steal food from that wolf gang". Major said "well someone lied" and dashed on in. He followed the scent of kill to the wolves' cache and dug into the first squirrel he saw. He was gonna take it back to show the sparrow that he'd done it, but then decided that if the sparrow wanted to see, he could bird up and come in after Major himself. The fiery red fox sat there once he'd finished, and let out a small burp. It was such a good meal, and he hadn't even been caught (yet)! He really ought to do this more often. RE: your friendly neighborhood major - Seabreeze - July 30, 2017 It was early afternoon and as usual, Seabreeze was doing her duties for the pack. Today that meant she was going to clear out the expired food from the cache because she hadn't thought anyone had done it in a while. She trekked from her favored spot in the Vale down to the cache and as she got closer she could smell a new yet distinctly canine individual had made its way down there before her. She straightened her posture and raised her tail and this was hard for her because arbitrary shows of dominance were not of her character, but she knew that they had no new member that was small, bright, and very much not a wolf. Making her way into their cache, she announced, You are trespassing here. Her voice was low and her seaglass eyes were fierce. This was her family's cache. This fed them, not whoever this was. If you leave now, I can replace what you took and my family will be alerted. If you choose to stay, I cannot be so kind... If diplomacy didn't work, than her teeth would just have to do. RE: your friendly neighborhood major - Major - July 30, 2017 Uh oh. It seemed Major's luck had run out. A pretty female wolf, with glassy eyes came to find him. His eyes widened, and he scanned the area for the closest way out. He got up slowly, his golden fur stood on end, preparing to run if she made a move for him. But instead she offered him a choice. He could stay and probably get eaten, or he could run. Well that seemed a very obvious decision, Major did not like the idea of death. Still a little unsure, he replied to her, Really? Like if I run right now you won't try and eat me or anything? RE: your friendly neighborhood major - Redshank - July 30, 2017 Just like the fox, really, Redshank was feeling like stirring up some mischief. He had growing pains that made his legs ache and his mood sour, ready to snap at anything that decided to test what little patience he had. He was gnawing on a damp tree branch angrily when a distant yet bright red figure racing across their territory caught his eye. He had only managed to catch a glimpse of it but, deciding it was far more interesting than this stick he had, Redshank abandoned it to pursue the strange streak of red. He headed in the general direction it had gone, picking up on the foreign, not-wolf scent as he did so. Nose to the ground, he weaved among the trees, finally coming upon the creature and a fellow pack mate who was confronting it. The boy stared with a mixture of horror and fury at their raided cache and the fat little fox that had plopped down before it. The pale-coated female was already reprimanding it but, where she chose diplomacy, Redshank chose violence. The creature stood and replied with a hint of doubt in his voice as the boy leapt forward in an attempt to pounce on him in the same moment. "Too fuckin' late!" he snarled as he did so. Oh, he was certainly going to try and eat him. RE: your friendly neighborhood major - Seabreeze - July 30, 2017 feel free to skip breeze unless someone other than major is about to get injured!
While the yearling was not going to go back on her word, a fellow packmate had taken matters into his own hands and she was not going to undermine him. She stood erect, watching. She was a caring girl but it only, so far, spread to those of her own species. This animal had trespassed — what did he expect? She would wait, only stepping in if the boy was going to kill the creature or if it was going to injure her family. RE: your friendly neighborhood major - Raid - July 31, 2017 feel free to skip genie unless something major happens — someone getting injured :)
Just like Redshank and Seabreeze, Genie had just managed to catch a glimpse of a bright red figure streaking across their territory. She had been going on a little solo hunting trip to fill the caches, her thoughts a little further away than they should, causing her to lose one rabbit before just managing to catch another. Still, the girl was in a sour mood by the time she caught sight of the fox, and so, deciding to do something to take her mind off things, shoved her rabbit into a nearby cache and made to chase after the foreign scent. When Genie arrived, a packmate whom she did not know the name of was attempting to kill the foxy creature which had, the girl saw with growing horror and rising rage, raided their cache. The anger was cold, white ice and biting, unlike that of the dark child who's fury was hot and palpable. Nearby was Seabreeze who was standing there, waiting. Waiting for what? Genie had no clue, but her own black lips were drawn back, a low growl slipping from between her lips. Genie saw no use in attacking the fox with the boy — the fox was small, and if they both attacked, she was sure things would take longer and end more messily than it should. Instead, she would be back-up, should the fox run for it, she would give chase, and if a packmate was injured, then she would stay and look after them. Either ways, her role here would be determined on what happened next. RE: your friendly neighborhood major - Major - July 31, 2017 The nicer wolf didn't have much chance to reply to Major's question, soon enough a different wolf was upon him. This one seemed younger, but a lot more violent. Major would rather try his luck with the grey and white wolf anyday. The small fox's ears flattened to his skull and a he squeaked, Shit!Right before the male wolf had him taken to the ground. That dumb bird had gotten him into this! If he ever saw that sparrow again, should he get out of this alive, it would be the next thing on his plate. He struggled against the brown wolf's weight, at first thinking he might be able to power his way out of this one. But after a moment he realized that he definitely couldn't. He went limp, flinching a few times in fear. At this point he was hoping that maybe the nice wolf might intervene and save him, but why should she? He was the dumbass who had decided to raid their cache! |
