halcyon - Thelxiope - October 09, 2017
The Sorceress stood at the edge of the moors, a statue carved in stone and obsidian. The wind tore at the sea, inciting it into anger, waves thrown upon the distant beach only to be dragged back and thrown again. Gulls cried, buffeted by the wind, and the creatures of the shore had slipped away to wait out the approaching storm. The wolf, however, did not move, instead scanning the sky, feeling the wind push through her fur and listening to the cries of the birds. There were an infinite number of signs the sea and the sky and the birds could convey, if only one would listen.
RE: halcyon - Athanasius - October 10, 2017 A storm approached, and Athan is caught out beyond Ravensblood. He curses his luck and the storm gods that threw this depression at their coast. His head is down, blocking his body as best he could from the roaring winds and salt water in the air. He heads north towards it, or at least towards shelter until the storm fizzes away. He isn't the only one out here. What he once thought was a stone formation turned out to be a wolf. His eyes widened as he realized this, unsure how to react. Are you alright? He says, more out of curiosity than concern. RE: halcyon - Thelxiope - October 12, 2017
The wind continued to pummel her with little avail, she was still and unmoving, fur short and thus largely unmoved by the winds. She missed completely the arrival of another, blinking and twisting her muzzle over her shoulder to peer back at the man only after he had spoken. Canting a lobe towards him, his interesting colouration catching her attention, she dipped her muzzle, asking a moment later, "and you? the storm will be a fierce one - but brief." the winds that roared towards them now would to serve to push the storm past them quickly if she were correct; already the clouds moved at a rapid clip. she stilled when she noticed his gaze; not anything typical of a wolf, but a burning violet. a little thrill went through the woman; eyes like the one on this male were an indicator or something, someone different, whether it be great or horrible was yet to be determined.
RE: halcyon - Athanasius - October 24, 2017 He does not attempt to approach her. The winds were hitting him fiercely here, pummeling into his sides and tussling his fur. He cannot imagine how the wind will be there on the edge of the cliff. Instead, she walks towards him, seemingly intending to get closer to allow her voice to be heard. I am trying to seek a place to stay for the moment,He responds, his volume a bit lower now that they were closer. She doesn't answer, instead staring intently at him. The situation they were in and her reaction were incongruent, striking him as extremely confusing. Is something the matter? |
