[bhediyon] Bag o' bones - RIP Tytonidae - October 19, 2017 They were growing, surely and steadily. Well, it was more like their numbers had stayed roughly the same since its inception... but the latest round of pledges seemed more solid somehow. Ty wasn't sure what it was about them that made her feel more confident in their... stickiness, but she felt something about this group that she hadn't felt any previous time. The others roamed close by, so she woofed to them to get their attention. She had found a large bone of a long-dead elk which she picked up and tossed at the nearest bystander with a playful cackle. Hopefully, they'd be quick enough to catch it. Either that, or it would smack them right upside the head. RE: [bhediyon] Bag o' bones - Witchbaby - October 19, 2017 for once the scarlet witch does linger close-by, enjoying a salt-scented breezy nap while her packmates to be roamed. she has to admit ty's done a bang up job in picking the plateau - for a place to stay it ain't too shabby, and nothing about it makes her think of - well - you know. her dream is light and so the alpha-to-be's call springs her to her feet quick-shot. lightly she dances over -- in time to catch the flash of bone in ty's mouth as it's tossed: with a joyful bark the starlet leaps for it, all reckless abandon and very possibly on a collision course with whomever the black woman's original victim is. RE: [bhediyon] Bag o' bones - Earthsea - October 19, 2017 Earthsea romped happily nearby the others, enjoying the brisk fall weather— winter was fast on its heels, to be sure, but this nor their small numbers concerned the chipper she-wolf. When snow cloaked the earth, large prey were less challenging; they'd often get themselves stuck in deep banks, vulnerable to the teeth of wolves, the snow shielding the smaller predators from angry hooves. She trotted, keeping pace with the others even as she playfully snapped at leaves and twigs. When Tytonidae's voice called their attention, Earthsea turned her head in time to see a leg flying through the air— directly toward her face— with a pack mate close behind. RE: [bhediyon] Bag o' bones - RIP Tytonidae - October 23, 2017 Feel free to hop in whenever @Whip! Just wanted to keep this goin'.
The bone hit Earthsea first, then WB hit Earthsea. Well, that wasn't really her intention, but whatever! Ty snorted at the sight, watching the two wolves collide and the bone fall to the ground after smacking Earthsea's face. It seemed there was only one thing left to do, so Ty launched herself into the madness, playfully biting at both Earthsea and WB, barking all the while. Ty flopped to one side eventually, rolling on the ground and making bitey faces at the two others as she taunted them into playing with her. RE: [bhediyon] Bag o' bones - Whip - October 24, 2017 It took time for Whip to grow accoustomed to living with others again. They were not the sirens of the coast, and though the others of the plateau had proven that to him time and time again, Whip found it all too easy to fall back into old habits. It was easy to sprial inward; to regard the kind souls surrounding him with fear and distrust. The echos of Themiscyra lingered like thick fog, unwilling to break. But he tried. He took to assimilation at a distance -- never straying too far from the whole, but keeping his space. He kept to himself mostly. Silent. A wallflower watching from the outside in. He wondered if they looked at him oddly for his withdrawn nature. He often told himself that they should. The others made it look so easy. Laughter. Joy. How he wanted to feel those things, remnants of a childhood shed so long ago. He watched from a distance greedily as they tumbled and played, secretly wanting to join in the fray himself. Or perhaps just to know what it felt like to feel something agian. His body told his story; how it bowed with want, but remained fearfully rigid. But still, he was unsure. RE: [bhediyon] Bag o' bones - Witchbaby - October 28, 2017 there is the object chased and then there is a girl and witchbaby cackles wildly as the pair collide, the bleached elk bone crushed between the momentarily as the scarlet witch meets the earth in a mess of long flailing limbs. barely does she have time to respond when the third enters the fray, ty's playful movements met with teasing snaps of her own as she wiggles free, more-or-less on her back with her trademark crooked grin on her face. "nice t'meet'cha by the way," witchbaby giggles upside-down-edly at her poor victimized packmate. her eyes catch the form of the other, lingering away - she doesn't know him either but clearly he's part of this and so she squirms, calling out, "an' you, too, c'mere!" RE: [bhediyon] Bag o' bones - RIP Tytonidae - November 02, 2017 "Peter!" Ty cheered, as if this were some sort of... event where wolves could win. Without any sort of hesitation, she broke away from Earthsea and Witchbaby to greet him more personally, bumping his shoulder with hers and looking at the two other wolves. "C'mon, join in!" she encouraged, playfully nipping at his shoulder this time. She barked, growled, then skipped a few feet away, hoping to lure him into playing. "It'll be fuuuuuun," she promised, wagging her tail and doing a spin. And if that didn't convince him, she really wasn't sure what would. Not wanting to crowd him too much, she turned her attention back to the other two rascals, diving in for a nip at Earthsea's tail (ensuring she was gentle enough not to break skin or bruise her comrade). |
