This is Nightingale's leaving thread. I tagged Bazi to show her how Nightingale said goodbye. I tagged Fox so that my character, Nightingale, could be switched to lone wolf
Aryn flew above, her eyes unused to the bright morning sun. She scanned the area of Swiftcurrent Creek, looking for a little pale wolf with a rust-colored stripe.This is Nightingale's leaving thread. She saw it, a small pup padding along the shores of the creek.
Nightingale looked up a see saw a shadow pass over her. To her amazement, a great barn owl landed a few yards in front of her, causing her to halt.
Aryn blinked before speaking. " Are you Nightingale?"
Yes, that is me. What do you want? Nightingale was dumbfounded, talking to a bird.
Ferdie and Jace wish for you to go with them. He's been chased out of Swiftcurrent Creek, you see, and plans on making a new one.
Nightingale felt like she'd been slapped across the face. Her heart broke and mended at the same time. After a few minutes of silence, she nodded. I'd follow Ferdie and Jace to the end... Just... Let me do something first.
After a few minutes, the little pup placed the fish in front of Bazi's den. She turned towards the owl.
Let's go.
