am i the ghost upon the stage - Salazar - November 09, 2017

Droman's getting to the age where he can actually do stuff now, so I want to get more active with this guy!

Though Droman was a boy of few words, there was a depth to his curiosity that was seemingly endless.  It wasn't enough for him to simply know what something was -- he needed to know why.  He was full of questions, constantly nattering at his mother and other elders for answers and explanations.  He loved to explore and frequently pushed the boundaries of how far he was permitted to wander (which, at this point, obviously wasn't very far but boy did he try).  He dreamed of being a big strong hunter, and often acted out those aspirations by stalking and attacking leaves, sticks, insects, his mother's tail, his sister...pretty much everything.

Today was business as usual.  He had already received a few warnings from his mother for trying to wander off, so for now he lingered nearby and was currently absorbed in stalking a rather fat little sand beetle that had wandered a little too far from the beach.  He was crouched down on the ground, as flattened-out as a pup could possibly get, his head resting on his front paws as his stormy-blue eyes followed the beetle's scurrying movements.  As it became harder and harder to contain himself, his hindquarters rose up off the ground and he began to do the butt-wiggle in anticipation of a spectacular, heroic, flying leap.

Too bad it didn't work out quite like that.  He sprang after the beetle but over-estimated his jump and ended up landing in a patch of coarse, reedy grass and tumbling a short way before coming to rest in an undignified, grumbling pile of oversized, jumbled-up limbs.  He glanced around, a little disoriented and more than bit angry that the beetle had apparently outsmarted him somehow.

RE: am i the ghost upon the stage - Tapat - November 11, 2017

Tapat loved to help Hemlock. He always loved to help. Hemlock did well to praise him and tell him what he was good at. Tapat finally started to realize that he was good with puppies as he was so playful. He was usually hovering around Hemlock as she gave him little tasks to do. It satisfied the pup with the short-term memory loss. Now he very intent to help Hemlock watch the pups.

Tapat looked up as he saw Droman leap to something. It was tough learning their names but he was starting to get them. The dark one was Dro and the lighter one was Reed. He trotted after the pup. Tapat grabbed him by his scruff gently like a good big brother would do. He placed him down where Hemlock could see them. Instantly Tapat crouched down in a playing bow. His butt wiggling invitingly for his younger brother. He wanted to cheer him up.
