singing songs that nobody wrote - Mink - November 11, 2017
Samothes seemed like a nice enough person, and Mink was overjoyed to have a place to call home once again - it wasn't fully established, but that lent a sense of wonder to everything too. He had never been a part of something so new before. The boy's former home occupied a vast piece of island territory and it had been under his family's control for so many generations... Before grandmother, before perhaps even her own grandmother. The forest itself was familiar in the way each forest was alike the next: everything was dark but not too dark, there was moss growing on every inch of everything, and they were close enough to the sea that sometimes if you tried really hard, you could smell the sea. Mink was in love. He did not want to overstep his boundaries or anything, but the urge to explore the entirety of the forest was too strong to pass up; his path led him far from where he'd met Samothes and through groves of densely wooded, dark forest. The boy ducked his head to inspect piles of leaves, sniff at moss, grab a stick and toss it - little things, but each precious. He came upon a massive old stump (the remains of which were scattered all about and covered in thick green), and he gracelessly scrambled atop it, then began to survey the forest again, wearing a grin and feeling quite at home already. RE: singing songs that nobody wrote - Constantine - November 21, 2017 Wolves were coming and going – Constantine was less territorial, given they had yet to officially lay claim, but he was beginning to become more strict with those who entered the forest. Samothes and Durnehviir seemed to both actively be recruiting, and he could appreciate the aide. If they were to be a family, they would need to work together – and once they were closer to establishment, he was keen on having a Council presented to the pack. Ravensblood Forest would hold the chance for all to have a say – if they had earned the respect from their fellow members. The new scent of another lingered among the forest ground, and the shadowrunner drew closer to the unfamiliar wolf. Moments passed, and as he slunk through the shroud of mystical trees, his fiery eyes came upon another shadow – the wolf atop a broken stump, a grin placed upon his muzzle. “How’s the view?” He drew closer, his wolfish brows lifting upward as he considered who this might be – and his nose tipped upward as he attempted to gauge the scent of one of his other comrades. |
