quiero ser tu ángel - Mouse - November 16, 2017 making a huge leap to speed up their travelling - tagging @Chusi for reference
ángel - juanes
Travelling to the coast was turning out to be a little harder than expected. The good thing about travelling just the two, Chusi and him, was that they could speed up their pace more easily rather if they were with a larger group, but also because it was just the two of them they had to be extra careful with the other predators in the area such as bears or even mountain lions. Or other wolves. A day or two ago they had passes near the home of the wolves that had caused Remi's long healed injuries. Morningside. He had decided to remain silent as they crossed the area for he knew how his behaviour had upset Chusi. And he thought she did not need any other reasons to be upset. Since they had begun their trip she had been really quiet, and Remi, not knowing how to deal with feelings, his or other's, had decided to give the girl her space and peace. He still strived to show her he was there for her more than just with her. He spent a lot of his energy hunting, and though he wanted to be able to give her a kill of her own sometimes they were forced to split. A couple of times Remi had lied about eating already to leave the kill entirely to her, despite his growling stomach the Ostrega was always making sure Chusi was well. And right now, he was looking for their dinner. He had left Chusi in the temporary campsite they had set up to spend the night and was now out and about, nose close to the ground as he tracked down a critter's fresh trail. RE: quiero ser tu ángel - Dirge - November 16, 2017 He had been here once before, of that he was certain. Though with the tendrils of winter firmly rooted in place it was different, familiarity rang here and there. The one thing that had changed was, outside of the landscape, was the foot traffic. Where on his previous passing through there had been the usual telling signs of wolves, they were more numerous and orderly. It was enough to lend him a wandering thought, but instinct would hopefully steer him clear of where they laid. Sunlight caught the last of glittering frost along the trunks of trees as he moved on, his gilded gaze drawn to look between and beyond to the background. The coast was to his back now but the breeze still stirred sea salt from breaking waves; a smell he was not entirely used to. It would fade swiftly as he drew inland, though too far inland was a questionable course. He had grown fond of the hinterlands and the mountains that divvied up the world, perhaps a bit sentimental as they were the parting grounds for he and his sisters. It too had seemed another time now and it was not here he carried a passing thought for how they fared. A small brook broke the scenery, the disruption of forestry drawing him to it so he could quell one necessity for the time being. Hunger was also chief on this mental list, but he would hardly put that to rest from chilled waters. Ever alert, Dirge did not take his gaze from his surroundings as he drank. In a place with lingering scents of kin alike, he sincerely doubted he would be alone for long. i couldnt resist :X
RE: quiero ser tu ángel - Constantine - November 19, 2017 The wolves of Ravensblood were quiet – something the dark wolf contemplated. It was time for him to draw forward and gather them – to actually play the role of their leader, though his thoughts would consistently shift to Donnelaith.. of his losses. Many times he felt frozen.. lacking the worth to to lead such a group of wolves – but he knew if he were to find his place in the world, it was either to bring his wolves together, or to disperse, and seek the ranks of a pack before winter came. A stir of protectiveness spurned the confirmation that he was not done here, and at the strange scents of others, the shadowrunner stalked toward the intruders – two of them. He found only one for now, sampling from the brook his members frequented. The tawny wolf was quenching his thirst, and while the wolves had not claimed the forest officially, they were close – they were readying, finalizing borders and becoming familiar with their home. To him, this was an intrusion, and his stance spoke of such as he prowled forward, his eyes flashing toward the stranger as he closed the distance between them. RE: quiero ser tu ángel - Dirge - December 04, 2017 The sound of footfalls stirring up leaf litter behind was all the sign Dirge needed to know he was no longer alone. His ears had swiveled to narrow down where the stranger came from and when they had, he cut his drink short to lay eyes on his company. Of course calling the mass of approaching dark hair company was a bit of a stretch—the very swagger set in his posture and gait revealed plenty of information. Dirge didn't need to test the air to know that this was probably one of those lingering wolves with a claim. "Ah, nothing is as refreshing as cold waters," he announced; his tongue chased away an errant drip of water as a wan smile spread across his face with the finisher: "wouldn't you agree?" It was bravado on his part to seem friendly in the face of someone so not, but he had enough guile left still to think he could be disarming enough to walk away with nipping fangs in his rump... or worse. And when the going inevitably got rough, he fled. since mouse is inactive at the time of this reply—hope you don't mind continuing @Constantine?
