You know you're right - Gracious - January 03, 2018 ooc: AW :3 perhaps a naturalist thread if anyone wants to join? For Gracious, her time at Tindome has been wonderful. She still needed to meet everyone, but there was one thing that buzzed in Gracious' head, her ability to gain her trade. She knew she needed to be carrying her weight, and to do so, she would need to prove her skill sooner or later. The snowy woman had pondered about her skills as she walked around the territory, the layers of snow crunching beneath her hefty body. Gracious was a delicate soul, despite her large body. While she could aspire to be a mercenary, it would be a last choice before anything. While she would do anything to protect those she loved, Gracious didn't want to specialize in hurting others, it just wasn't something she aspired to be or have under her belt. Perhaps a medic? She knew her plants pretty well, but she was sure almost any wolf could know the basics of healing. Counseling? She had already worked with Brienne, and she did enjoy helping others. That would be a good choice for her, she liked to think to herself. The woman continued to walk around the land, often stopping by some trees to scent them as well as check up on them, see how they were doing. She didn't start a conversation with them (she's not that crazy), but she did check up on how they were holding up during the harsh winter. She made sure to check if they were healthy, if bark was being stripped away by the elk, etc. A step on the naturalist path would be interesting for the woman. RE: You know you're right - Sunflower - January 06, 2018 It’s easy to fall into the same funk day after day. There’d been a few newer wolves lately and changes happening that she isn’t entirely aware of. It’s a weird feeling, not sure what’s happening in your own home, and she wonders why there’s such a big disconnect between herself and this land. Delight’s fun to be around but what’s beyond that? The rest of the wolves are about as antisocial as the rest of them but she hasn’t been miss chatty cathy lately, either. She purses her lips, lost in thought, until she comes across a large form up ahead. Her hears shift on her head, bright eyes scanning the other. The stranger hadn’t been a the hunt and she assumes she’s one of the new-new ones. Awkwardly, Sunflower chuffs for attention, unsure to make of what she’s doing from tree to tree. RE: You know you're right - Gracious - January 14, 2018 The burly woman had placed both front paws against the base of a planted tree, standing at an angle where her top half was elevated as her bottom paws were placed firmly on the ground. Her grey eyes were locked on the marks in front of her. She wasn’t sure what was causing the marks. It didn’t look like claw marks and she didn’t think that the elk would scratch their antlers against the wood. Her curious was peaking, but Gracious’s ears turned back at the chuff. She popped her paws off the front tree and landed in the snow with a loud smoosh noise. Turning around, she returned the chuff before offering a smile to the woman. “Greetings, friend,” she offers quietly, walking a few paces closer to be in hearing distance, “What brings you out here?” |
