frozen lands, frozen heart - Constantine - January 04, 2018 For @Amabilia but AW
He had spent most of his time within the borders they were working to claim their own – so it wasn’t without hesitation that he went over them today, past the crimson forest that he had begun to refer to as home and to the winding river. There was no true purpose or intention in his step – instead, the swarthy wolf moved like a shadow, drifting through the snow and pausing every so often to linger near a scent that intrigued him.The snow beneath was frozen – the gentle crunch all that could be heard in the quiet of the winter morning. His breath wisped before him and the Mayfair let out a gentle huff of breath, his bright eyes sweeping over the river before shaking his pelt from the flurries that had settled upon him. Prowling forward, the shadowrunner traced the banks of the river, peering in to the depths, wondering if fish swirled within its depths. RE: frozen lands, frozen heart - Amabilia - January 05, 2018 After having been reunited with the beach again, Amabilia decided she'd explore the nearby forest, following the river that fed into it. It would be nice to live here, she thought, being so close to the sea. If she ever did decide to settle down somewhere, it would be here, she decided. But not even she knew if such a time would come, for she felt that her wanderlust had not yet be satiated. As she wandered into the shadows of the trees, the scent of other wolves wafted into her nose. Was she intruding? It was hard to tell, as it felt... Incomplete. Amabilia was wary and cautious, not wanting to be torn to bits, so she stayed near the edge of the woods. The sight of a shadowy figure before her gave her a start, body jolting to life. Her limbs went rigid as she stood there, contemplating what she should do for only a moment before deciding it'd be best to back away. She turned slightly but kept her body facing the stranger somewhat, in case they made any move for her. Perhaps it wasn't smart to come here. |
