The Blooded Moon - Korei Julia - January 31, 2018 The pale wolfess stepped out of cover the group had been in, and then an odd glow about the place. She paused, glancing upwards to the sky. This was...this was something she had never seen before. A red moon. She was somewhat worried about this, though she was not entirely sure why. Perhaps by how unusual it was. Then again, she was also mystified by it as well. It was ominous, and held her attention for what seemed like quite some time. @Alarian @Lennon @Lanawyn RE: The Blooded Moon - Lennon - February 03, 2018 Lennon followed the tracks of Korei, wondering where she’d gone off without another. He hoped she hadn’t secluded herself in woe. When seeing the pale figure, his shoulders relaxed. Gaze following her own up to the red moon, admiring the crimson orb setter in the sky. ”Strange, inn’t?” He inquired, slowly stepping closer to the girl. ”Blood moon, never seen one but I’ve heard of them.” His memory traveled back to the words of a slightly crazed, astronomer mentioning the supposed power of this moon. ”Another’s suppose to be in...March, I think.” He recalled the old wolf’s words, speaking of the celebrations that occurred at the time of this phenomenon. He almost wished to be there now.
RE: The Blooded Moon - Eris - February 06, 2018 lanawyn's mood was boosted tonight. perhaps it was the traveling companions she had, or the conversations she'd had to repair her relationship with alarian.. but if she were being honest with herself, it was the astronomical events up above that had lifted her spirits. she overhears her companions begin talking, and the corners of her lips raise, eyes crinkling as the moonlight reflects from them. yes,she breathes, [/q]isn't it wonderful?[/q] she turns to korei, seeing her afraid, and her smile drops. would you like to hear a story? RE: The Blooded Moon - Alarian - February 08, 2018 The boy was in awe of the moon's color this night, and instantly his thoughts went to Korei. He knew she loved the night sky, and he wanted to share the magical night with her.
He wasn't disappointed to find there were others already there-- maybe a bit at first, but when he recognized them as his love and his sister he quickly relaxed. It would be a lovely night with all three of them. Alarian had come only in time to hear Lanawyn's offer of a story, so he slipped in quietly to nestle himself against Korei, licking her ear affectionately and murmuring: The moon made me think of you. He fell silent, then, turning his gaze to Lana expectantly. The boy didn't doubt the others would agree to the story. RE: The Blooded Moon - Korei Julia - February 08, 2018 Korei glanced to Lennon with a smile. It was quite an exotic site to see a red moon. So different...She heard another and turned a bit to see Alarian's sister, Lana then Alarian himself. Her ear flicked and she almost jumped at his appearance and tickling touch, and she rubbed up against him when she realized it was him. "Yes...please" she answered to Lanawyn, and then she waited for the wolf to begin a little story. RE: The Blooded Moon - Lennon - February 13, 2018 He hadn't expected so much company but was in no way disappointed at their arrival. He sent Lana a friendly grin, wagging his tale at the idea of a story. "That sounds lovely," He insisted, before his eyes catching the gaze of his partner. Lennon nudged against him as a quick greeting, giving him a lick on the cheek before turning back to Korei and doing the same. His heart thumped at the chance to have a serene moment with both of them for once, just like when they traveled only as a trio.
RE: The Blooded Moon - Alarian - March 20, 2018 PPing a conclusion and archiving with permission
The night was lovely; everyone settled down for a story, and Lanawyn told it beautifully. It seemed so much more enchanting under the strange but beautifully altered moon. By the time the group had dispersed and said their goodnights, it was late and Alarian was more than ready to fall down somewhere and turn into a wolf-shaped rock for twelve hours. |
