the thing about gods is that they're eternal - RIP Wintersbane - February 04, 2018 ever since vela's almost capture on the borders drogon took to them with a renewed vigor, doubling his patrols. it is quiet and iliksis does not return ( for the time being, at least ). he trains with her in their respective downtime, trying to find a way that she could escape a scruff hold if she became a victim of kidnapping again. drogon does not want to think that it happening a second time is a possibility but he's pragmatic and likes to prepare for as many situations as he can. he believes in and prays to no deity; rather thinks that the good and the bad in the world are defined by wolves themselves and are not guided by anything other than one's own moral compass. but it is easier to blame some non-existent deity than it is to take responsibility for one's own actions in the effort to lessen the severity of consequences. he pauses at a section of the borders where the scent is a bit lacking. he lifts his leg to urinate upon the invisible borders, adding his scent to the mix, kicking up a few clumps of grass and hardened dirt in addition before he moves onwards, wondering if it's wise to make tentative plans to see vela. he gets the feeling that charon doesn't overly approve of ...whatever it was that he and vela were becoming to one another ( were they becoming something? ). drogon hasn't examined the blossoming thing between them in any grand detail and beyond that it's not fair to assume that just because he's got stirrings of feelings for the ruhtinatar that she feels the same. as she does most times they are apart vela worms her way into his thoughts and the ansbjørn attempts to tuck her away to a corner of his mind so he may better focus upon the last stretch of his patrol. RE: the thing about gods is that they're eternal - Ganondorf - February 04, 2018 Ganon descended to the lower parts of Moonspear, where the borders lay. He wondered how his younger siblings faired, but did not dare leave Moonspear's borders towards the dark sentinal of a forest that was Blackfeather. Not after seeing Vaati and that Hydra-lookalike. If he did not see the screwn bodies of his family members from whatever invasion would eventually come forth, he would see a grander betrayal. He wasn't sure what would hurt his soul more.
But he could not keep to himself and leech off Moonspear any longer. He was a member of this pack now. He knew it was time to completely add his scent to the borders. Ganon raised his leg and let out a stream of urination, establishing his place. He stared at it for a moment, seemingly enraptured by the yellow mark in the snow. The soft crunch of footsteps behind him turned his attention. He saw Drogon approaching, patrolling the border. Ganon chuffed to the young man. He hadn't seen the male in moons. RE: the thing about gods is that they're eternal - RIP Wintersbane - February 05, 2018 drogon slows, habitually, when he reaches the spot of vela's almost abduction. this is why he saves his stretch of border for last now. he gives pause and replays the scene when he came into it back in his head. the tundrian hadn't had much time to examine what'd been happening or how it happened beyond that he saw vela was being drug away and that he knew he needed to save her ...or die trying. his hackles bristle and prickle and his puffs his chest with unbridled indignation as he ensures this particular place is saturated in his scent regardless of whose urine he is covering. a reminder, should iliksis come slithering back that drogon was watching now. he was ready and the next time — if there was one — drogon wouldn't just let him walk away relatively unscathed. god save the soul of whatever sick creep tried to do anything to vela again. he is broken out of his rumination, swarthy ears perking and swiveling atop his skull, as the chuff reaches him and lures him back to present. drogon blinks once, eyelids hooded and pupils nearly swallowed by the pool of glacial blue irises as he swings his head to peer at the owner of the chuff — far too deep to belong to vela or one of the cerberus. ganadorf's red fur stands out in stark contrast against the snowy backdrop around them. There is slight surprise in drogon's expression as his fellow blackfeather defector approaches him. It's been some time since he's seen the other male ...to the point where drogon almost forgot about him. "ganondorf," the maned ansbjørn greets him. "it's been a while." the leijona remarks with a twitch of his lips in a smirk; but on the topic drogon said nothing further. that door swung both ways and drogon's been unapologetically distracted by a certain freckled lady as of late. |
