where does the moon go in the morning? - Nox - February 28, 2018

Nox doesn’t travel far from the ocean, if she can help it. She’d been born on an island, close to the crashing waves, and as far as she can remember her life has been nothing but saltwater. Leaving the island to break out on her own had been a gamble, especially with no one tagging along. She’s made some mistakes along the way (typically stupid ones) but she learns, for the most part.

So when she approaches a small mountain with the sound of distract screeching, her ears droop back and she hesitates going forward. Her back is still healing from the eagle’s claws digging into her skin but it is mostly scabbed over and some parts have begun to flake away. She shies away from going to the depths and moves to where the base meets stone and begins to travel along the back side, curiously following along to see what she’ll find. Her awkwardly short tail swishes every so often without much thought and her short legs scarcely leave perfect paw prints in the snow, toes dragging through for quite a messy trail.

An opening in the side of the wall catches her attention, but the dark hole that it appears to be prevents her from going further. Instead, she rounds to the ground to see how much and how far she can see into it.

The herb was wearing off, and he scowled at the limp he had now. Revenge rested in his heart as he walked, tail twitching in anger. It wrapped around his heart like tar, blackening it more. He needed more of that herb, the longing for it growing by the minute, his face scowling deeper. No respect. None of them. They would pay. All of them. His thoughts darkened more every step.
The screeching nuisances that were birds made a growl rise up from his throat. Limping a bit more, he rounded an outcrop of rocks and spotted a wolf. Another bitch. Curling his lips back, he wondered if she would be any different. Probably not. Black tongue swiped over his lips as he spoke, tail raising over his back. What are you doing?

She’s disrupted from her thoughts with a gruff question directed toward her. She jumps instantly, looking away from the opening over her shoulder to a dark wolf, a splotch against the white back drop. Suddenly she’s concerned she’s trespassed without realizing it. Getting into trouble isn’t uncommon for the girl but she’ been careful about other packs and suddenly she’s lost her record. In an attempt to hide her newfound nervousness, she licks her lips and straightens out a little. Her tail wags once but it falls still after a beat. “I’m not doin’ nothing,” she tells him, using her nose to find any indication there are others coming, but she doesn’t take her eyes away from him.

Her startled jump made a twisted joy go through him. Stepping closer, he cocked his head, his eyes flickering with an unreadable, hungry look. She looked nervous. Maybe he could something out of this meeting. Her tongue crossed lips, and a chuckle rose through him, spilling out of his mouth. Nothin'? He mocked her lightly, a sense of anticipation striking him. Maybe a little fun wouldn't hurt. Then again, when did he care about not causing pain?

He questions her, mocks her, and she stares blankly at him for a few seconds. She’d been looking into the cave, ultimately seeing nothing, and he doesn’t believe her? Whatever. She doesn’t have to do this; she only has to get out and he’s standing in the only way familiar. Behind her is unknown territory and screeching birds. ”Is this land claim?” she asked, hoping to get a better idea of what’s going on, but she shuffled back anyway. ”I’ll just be going,” she tells him, though it’s never just anything, is it?

He grinned as she spoke, his ears swiveling to hear her. This was going to be easier than he thought. Stepping aside as if to let her through, he bowed his head, eyes glinting. Sorry for wasting your time. If you would like to leave, you can. His voice was smooth, yet an eerie smile was on his lips. He wanted to play with this one a bit.

He doesn’t have much to say, other than a brief and insincere apology and a slight move to get out of the way. Something doesn’t feel right and her stomach turns. Nox takes a wide berth in the other direction and watches, slowly moving away from him in a similar direction she’d come from. She serves him one more glance as she refocuses her destination and begins to run.

As she started in the other direction, his lips curled back, something cracked on the inside. No respect. Why was it so hard for them to understand? As she flees, a snarl roared from his lips as a feral look came into his eyes. He started running, his limp extremely noticeable. It slowed him down, and anger boiled in him. Lunging, his teeth sank into her tail, and planting his feet, he yanked her backwards, a slight tearing sound. His incisors gleaned as they grabbed her scruff, using his body to flip her onto her side, the hollow sound satisfying. Putting his massive paws on her throat, his breath ruffled her fur as he whispered. Why no respect? You seem to need a lesson. Rage filled him as a sharp pain radiated up his leg.

To her surprise, she’s jerked back. She yells loudly when he tugs at her tail, feeling the pain at the base where she hear a pop. She doesn’t have time to think about it as she looses her footing, teeth grabbing the back of her neck and throwing her down all at once. The wind knocks out of her lungs as she lands square beneath his weight. It makes it difficult to move and get to her feet, but before she makes any headway, a paw is placed strategically against her throat. Not being able to breathe to begin with just adds more pressure, eyes wide as she looks up to him through a wheezing, flailing breath.

An icy smile spreads across his demon mouth as she struggled to breathe. The wheezing gave him delight as he pressed down harder. His notrils flaring, his pale eyes closed for a moment, a shiver going down his body. Chuckling, he lifted his paw and stepped back, his muscles tensed, hoping, yearning for her to run yet again. He wanted to play more before he taught her a well deserved lesson.

Her eyes widen, as if they may pop from her head, as he pushed down harder against her throat. He pushes into her trachea. She squirms but her movements are rigid and her brain feels fuzzy. The pressure in her that causes her to lurch but he releases his paw in the same moment and she sucks in a long breath, wheezing heavily shortly after. It takes a long moment before her head is off the ground and she’s able to stand, feeling dizzy. Her legs stumble, hobbling a step or two and eventually regains her footing.

With her head low to the ground, sides heaving raggedly as she stares at him. Her lips curl to reveal an uneven set of teeth and her legs lock into launch, throwing herself forward with teeth intent to bite whatever she can. Fuck this dude.

The wheeze that escaped her only made his eyes glint brighter as she stumbled to her feet minutes later. Twitching his tail, he stepped back, and a shot of pain made him snarl, raising his dry lips. Meeting her eyes, their gazes locked silently. The beast tensed his muscles, itching for a taste of her. Wanting to see her fear.
Yet as her body came off the ground, it was not her back she was seeing. Instead, his eyes widened slightly at the set of teeth and gaping gaw. He moved quickly, yet her teeth sank into his shoulder, the pain making him slower than normal. Roaring with pain, his incisors glistened as he grabbed her throat and shook, yanking until she let go.
Rage and pain illuminated in his eyes as the beast's blood ran down his leg, staining the snow. Grabbing her scruff, he bit down. Through her fur, he growled. Looks like you need to be taught a lesson, bitch. Growling in pain, he swung his large body around, pulling back on her scruff as he tried to mount her.

Satisfaction settles in when her teeth connect with his shoulder, clamping down with everything she has. She isn’t going to be the easy plaything he assumes when she’s been roughed up by her brothers twice his size! Ha.

After a few shakes of his shoulder, he’s yanked from her mouth and the curls of her lips are smeared with blood. She grins, watching his reaction and she revels in the momentary victory instead of running when she has the chance. Instead, by surprise, he’s upon her and pushing her down by the back of the neck with a new force. Nox grunts and snarls, lashing back but she can’t regain control as he swings around parallel to her so he can hook his legs around her waist. Pulling her back causes her to groan, chest heaving, and her tongue lolling out of her mouth as she pants in a new wave of panic.

“No, no, no!” she shouts through the strain, trying to use her front legs to claw at the ground to get away.

Her grunts and snarls only heightened the need, the want for her as she struggled. Growling deeply, he yanked back on her and locked his forelegs around her chest. Blood pooled in his mouth, and he swallowed with relish. He began to thrust, trying to ignore the pain in his back leg, her heat driving him to lust.
Panting, he stopped for a few breaths, taking in her scent at each sharp intake. A rumble went through his chest as he pulled back and thrust again and again, almost desperately. Satisfaction filled him as he drove into her, a groan escaping his maw. His hips ground against her, and he felt climax, eyes rolling back. Resting on her back, he slid off and noticed with no little annoyance that they were still tied. Yet the pain had lessened, and a blackened grin settled on his lips, even as he carefully held his back paw off of the ground.

It does not matter how much she fights back, she cannot escape the inevitable. If anything, maybe she makes it worse. Her skin tears to his teeth and the warmth of her blood touches her skin in new places. For the time being, adrenaline surges her form that makes the pain bearable (for the moment).

After several attempts, his hips finally hit their mark and she yelps in surprise. Never has another mounted her in such a way and she struggles to wrap her mind around what’s happening. Each thrust sends a new shock of pain, heightening as the seconds tick by, but her energy has certainly depleted and fighting back only makes it worse. Instead, she growls and snaps at his face every time he leans in too close (whether or not she makes contact will be noted later). Something new presses against her and she squeezes her eyes tight, feeling nothing but pain in her groin at this point, but he slumps against her for the moment.

Nox stares at the ground, all her joins stiff and locked in place, and she doesn’t move even when he finally slides off and turns himself around. She makes one attempt to step forward but she realizes she can’t go anywhere and her eyes widen in panic, ears plastered against the back of her head.

Eventually, he slips from her and he is not stupid enough to linger around. Rage has filled her veins and she turns to snap at him, but he has quite the headstart. Tired and sore and fueled with anger, she isn't entirely sure what to do, so she turns the other way and runs with no direct route in mind.
