even when he ate her tongue - Lecter - June 06, 2014 @Hawkeye: Set for tomorrow...sometime....lol. What had transpired upon the coastline still intrigued the male, and he had set off to the warm springs with a bundle of herbs and a lessening limp with it upon his mind. As before, he meant to create a potion from the plucked plants, and carried them in his ragged-edged turtleshell. As he arrived, a bout of exhaustion gripped him, and he dropped the shell upon the warm ground, jaws parted with panting. A brief niggle of worry wormed into his mind at what these constant sessions of fatigue would mean, but he put it aside. He was dying, was all; there were thoughts better created than in contemplation of an old man's mortality. But still he rested, watching the waters foam and boil with their mysterious steam. RE: even when he ate her tongue - Hawkeye - June 09, 2014 ooc: *smacks self* I totally forgot about this, sorry mah beauteefull Ebby<3 Hawkeye caught a glimpse of white. Her eyes widened and her chest fluttered in nervous anticipation. Trying to see more, the dark female let out the breath she was holding when she realized the pelt belonged to Lecter and not Jinx as she had assumed. Smiling, she began to move forward but stopped when something he was carrying spilled from his mouth while he seemed exhausted. Hawkeye watched with partial worry and confusion on her face as Lecter seemingly recovered and began observing the springs. Not wanting to startle him, Hawkeye moved forward and let out a, "Hello there, Lecter," with a smile showing on her voice. He would always mean something special to her, a friend that could always make her smile or feel at ease. RE: even when he ate her tongue - Lecter - June 11, 2014 no prob!! <333 Cold gaze swung toward the shadow that addressed him, and he gave a low grunt of welcome. Emptying the contents into the bath, Lecter stepped back as the water roiled, ears curved to hear Hawkeye's words, his stance inviting her to draw near. He would welcome her company this day. RE: even when he ate her tongue - Hawkeye - June 17, 2014 She moved closer to the male, watching the water all the while. She was drawn in by the shell, a trance-like state consuming her for some time. Snapping herself back to reality, Hawkeye shifted her weight and looked towards Lecter, gasping a bit at how close she had brought herself to him. "Sorry," the black wolf mumbled quickly before taking a step back. She eyed the male, feeling as if something was off. "How have you been, Lecter?" Hawkeye truly wondered what he had been up to; it had been a very long time since she had spoken to him, and that was only a short visit upon what once where her lands. RE: even when he ate her tongue - Lecter - June 18, 2014 She drew near to him, and Lecter regarded her curiously, noting how close she had come to him, but did not trouble himself with such things for long. The tangibility of her frame showed him subtle changes, and her scent had not remained the same, as well.
RE: even when he ate her tongue - Hawkeye - June 19, 2014 Her light key-lime eyes became out of focus as she silently stared at the foamy bath. A small "mmm" and a nod came from the dark female when Lecter mentioned growing old. She wondered if there was more behind this due to what she had seen a few minutes prior. Knowing that this might upset him, Hawkeye stayed silent. For now. She looked over at the white (if you could call him that) male when he mentioned her children. Moving her eyes back down, she stated "yes" clearly, feeling as if anything having to do with Peregrine was a sore subject. The pups much less so, but a silent pang still touched upon her breast. "Two girls," she said, a small but sad smile appearing on her face. RE: even when he ate her tongue - Lecter - June 23, 2014
When he had drawn the medicine from the spring, and let the shell with its burden alight upon the ground, the shaman returned his attentions to Hawkeye. But still he rested, watching the waters foam and boil with their mysterious steam. RE: even when he ate her tongue - Hawkeye - June 24, 2014 Hawkeye looked away with Lecter's first words. He always seemed to know what was going on, even if Hawkeye his things from him. In this instance, it was easy to predict what he had said with her current disposition, but it still held a heavy impact on her. Her dark chest became heavy with almost a panicky sensation, but she held it in. A moment later, she was watching Lecter, but his movements seemed off. Her sharp eyes watched him mix the waters, but realized that maybe she was looking too much into things when he tossed the stick aside, showing no discomfort. Hawkeye was curious when he scooped some of the liquid into the tortoise shell, but shifted her eyes to the white(ish) wolf when he spoke. The ache in her chest tightened, squeezing her heart and she let out a shaky breath, mostly in an attempt to pull back the tears that started to fill her light key-lime eyes. "It fled when my mate decided that I was no longer worthy of his affections because I was so focused on the pups. I was not Alpha any longer, so now he rules my pack. I want to leave, but my girls are there." Hawkeye hoped that somehow Lecter would magically fix things, but knew that these were foolish thoughts. RE: even when he ate her tongue - Lecter - June 29, 2014 He lowered his head to dip tonguetip briefly into the liquid, tasting it for heat and flavour. Grunting at the sting of the fire upon his muzzle, Lecter glanced toward Hawkeye and her woeful tale, he settled his haunches on the ground to regard her implacably.
RE: even when he ate her tongue - Hawkeye - July 01, 2014 Hawkeye watched as the shaman lowered his head and barely lap the liquid in the shell. She momentarily made a face of disgust dabbed with a curiosity she was sure he could feel. After he spoke, Hawkeye simply stared at the male in silence. Then, she looked away in shame. "He has made me weak. I deserve what has happened since I have ignored my duties to Sos." Looking back to Lecter, a fire burned in her eyes. "He would kill me if I tried to take my throne back. And if not him, then his brother or the other female he made Alpha. If I take the girls, he will come after me and kill me. I was a fool to believe things could work out." Hawkeye growled in frustration. She was stuck and she wondered if Lecter could see the conflict in her eyes. Or that Sos was slowly returning to her. RE: even when he ate her tongue - Lecter - July 06, 2014 Truly a conundrum Hawkeye found herself in, but she had forsaken her duties to Sos.
RE: even when he ate her tongue - Hawkeye - July 08, 2014 Hawkeye stared at Lecter, numbed by his words. Her head began to buzz and she clenched her jaw. "Was there ever a time where you did not do the work of Sos? Or a time that you did not want to and did so anyway?" Hawkeye's chest did not tighten per say, but it felt heavy. With anger? Shame? Was it her pride that was being damaged? She had been on top of the world and then stripped of everything. It dawned on her that she had stopped worshipping Sos when Peregrine came around. Love had distracted her. Thinking before acting now gave her unwanted consequences. "I feel so dumb..." Hawkeye whispered, turning her head in shame. She wished she could go back and destroy any future she would have had with Peregrine. RE: even when he ate her tongue - Lecter - July 10, 2014 He was silent for a long moment, gazing at Hawkeye as if he had not heard her.
RE: even when he ate her tongue - Hawkeye - July 15, 2014 Hawkeye listened to Lecter quietly, focusing intently on his words. A question rose up in her chest about his life when he was younger, but he asked her about Peregrine. A scowl showed on her face momentarily. "Well, besides the fact that he discarded me and took over my pack after I bore his children... he acts like we weren't ever anything. He controls all that I am. My pack, my pups. He is everywhere. I no longer want to be around him." Hawkeye became agitated. She wished she'd never mated with Peregrine, even if it meant that her daughters had never been born. Guilt shocked her for a moment, but she could not deny what was true. She hated everything having to do with the male, and she could not fight it. Hawkeye wondered where she had gone wrong, and realized that she'd gone boy crazy looking for a mate. She rejected her religion for a relationship. She was angry at the world for her mistakes, but it wasn't her fault that her ex-mate was a selfish jackass. RE: even when he ate her tongue - Lecter - July 22, 2014 hiya lovebug, wanna fade this soon? <3 Lecter was a stranger to the inner workings of a woman's mind, and therefore he did not understand, nor care to understand, the pain and rage Hawkeye now experienced. His expertise lay in the realm of the spirit world, the dark paths forged by Sos for his servant. Yet his eyes held minute concern for her, if not only for the fact that she had lost her way.
RE: even when he ate her tongue - Hawkeye - July 23, 2014 She looked down at the tortoise shell and opened her mouth to speak while returning her eyes to Lecter's dirty face. Hawkeye decided against talking for the first time in her life and lowered her head to drink the concoction that the shaman had made. Instead of red, her eyes filled with a dusky blue that blanketed the world around her. Visions of everything that had caused her anger and distress shot across her eyes rapidly, a clashing of voices and murmuring in her ears. The face of a bear appeared before her (although she'd never seen one &mdash or maybe she had when she was a small child). Hawkeye knew it was Sos, but wasn't quite sure how she knew. Then, she saw Lecter. He stood still as she walked around him, not sure what she felt. Returning to the front of him, Hawkeye took a step forward brushing his nose with her own. The dark wolf snapped out of the trance (not knowing if it was seconds, minutes, or hours later), nearly collapsing but catching herself. Moments later, she laid down on the ground, eyelids heavy with exhaustion that was more mental than anything. "Oh, Lecter..." she murmured. "If only we'd known one another in another life, I wonder what we'd be to each other." Her blinking had become sluggish, her eyes now shut and her breathing slowed. ooc: one last post each? RE: even when he ate her tongue - Lecter - July 24, 2014 sounds good to me! He tensed when she touched him, but did not pull away, believing her gesture to be the result of the liquid she had immediately consumed. Lecter remained standing even as Hawkeye collapsed, and gave a gentle smile at her words.
RE: even when he ate her tongue - Hawkeye - July 30, 2014 The words the male in front of her spoke were muddled, as if Hawkeye was underwater. It didn't help that things were muffled most of the time in her world, and though there might have been a time she could hear perfectly well, she could not remember. Even her eyes, at this moment, betray her, making the form of the male blurry and unclear until she fell into a deep rest. When she woke up, Lecter was gone. She was not surprised, but part of her longed for more time with the male. Not for any sexual desires, but Hawkeye always felt at ease around him. She trusted him. Yet, the female knew that it would most likely be a long while before she saw him again, if she ever would. Lifting herself up, feeling relaxed but a bit drowsy, the dark beast make the trek home, and, for the first time in forever, thought about nothing in particular. |
