Underneath your skin - Serem - March 14, 2018 Spring was here but it had only begun, the dark she-wolf gazed up at the cloud-covered sky. The warmth of the sun was no longer in sight and the scent of the air smelled of rain. The sacrifice that took place came and went, it had been a while since she had done such a thing and she felt herself craving more. Good things come to those who wait. RE: Underneath your skin - Feyre - March 14, 2018 Dense swamps had turned into barren wintry meadows that had once been alight with the lush beauty of summer and rich luxury of fall. The femme had taken a meandering journey north, a mindless adventure with no true destination, and ended up in the thick underbrush of the mountain. To her, the journey was pointless. Perhaps she would stop once the ice cold lands further north tested the reaches of her ancestors's thick pelt, or perhaps she would wake up the next day and turn around. A limber branch snapped at her flank as she padded carlessly through the forest, arouseing a vulger snarl to tear from her maw. After months without seeing others, Feyre had become nearly feral in nature. The thick greenery of the dark forest, shrouded in cloud cover, seeped into her senses. It carried the scent of fresh leaves crunched under paws and damp soil from an earlier mist. Yet, beneath those scents lay the destinct undercurrent of something alive. Feyre turned towards the smell, ivory ears flicking in distaste, maw curled into a wary snarl. "Hello?" She hoarsely called out, her voice scratchy due to its misuseage. At least you remembered how to speak. If speaking out load had not shocked her, it was the reappearence of her concience that did. RE: Underneath your skin - Serem - March 19, 2018 Phone post!
Serem emersed from the dark shadows that had concealed her so well, as she approached the lighter female slowly. Though, not to make the other alarmed, she stopped a bit away from the wolf. "Why hello there." Her facade was a bit cheery as she watched her carefully which was different.
RE: Underneath your skin - Feyre - March 21, 2018 A shadow of a wolf emerged, prowling to her with what seemed like restraint. Feyre felt the hair raise along her spine ever so slightly, yet flatten as the fae gave her a smile. Perhaps she was overthinking things. After not seeing others for so long, maybe her perception was not as good as it used to be. The fae could feel those eyes searching her, even as the other woman cast out a rather friendly greeting. “Hello,” her voice clearer this time, “-Do you live here?” She attempted not to cringe as she looked around, her amber optics taking in the shadows that seem to have followed to other wolf here. RE: Underneath your skin - Serem - March 21, 2018 Serem nodded her head. "Yes, i do. I haven't seen you around before, what's your name?" The fenale kept the voices at bay for the time being even though they were practically screaming within her head. RE: Underneath your skin - Feyre - March 21, 2018 The woman seemed a bit odd, but perhaps Feyre's mind still played tricks on her. Worry creased her brow. "Feyre...but you live here, as in, with others?" A glimmer of anxiety crept through her veins. She had not remembered crossing any pack borders, and yet...no, there had been no markings. RE: Underneath your skin - Serem - March 21, 2018 OMG this is terrible i'm sorry phone post
Serem nodded once more. "I live here with the wolves of Shadow Mountain." She states to the stranger as her tail sways a bit behind her.
RE: Underneath your skin - Feyre - March 21, 2018 The fae paused. Her heart was now permenently lodged in her throat. "I see." The words came out as nearly a gag. Her amber optics slid to the landscape around her. This place, the soil beneath her paws, it belonged to them. Why did the other woman's tail fan out behind her? Feyre tilted her head, examining the woman for any signs of threatening behavior. Perhaps this was some sort of trap? |
