days turn, faster than a minute - RIP Poppy - March 15, 2018 she jolted awake when the waves lapped at her snout, stretched out before her. she blinked recovering blearily from the drugged sleep as she looked to @Engel on her left. quickly, a jolt of wrongness jolted through her - surely she shouldn't be seeking comfort like this, it was wrong, bad of her. there was a scent in the air, prominent, that reminded her dully of the odd scent of yesterday. she almost moved to her feet, but paused. surely it couldn't be so bad, to wait a moment longer. to lay beside the red man, just until she woke fully, just until she could have a little more of that comfort. and, perhaps, whatever drove her scent drove her too to lean against him, poking her muzzle at his neck. RE: days turn, faster than a minute - Engel - March 15, 2018 Engel murmured mutterings in his sleep. He was still influenced by the seeds somewhat, and had fallen asleep soon after Poppy had. She woke up before him, and would no doubt hear his mutterings that were...not for young ears. Not till he felt something prodding at his neck did he stir awake, and smiled up at her. "Poppyyyy, how are you?" he asked, slurring just a little...then noticed a bit of a smell. The same one as before, but now that his head was clearing a bit...he didn't want to believe it was that, so shrugged it off. RE: days turn, faster than a minute - RIP Poppy - March 15, 2018 she made a noncommittal noise of agreement when he asked his question, though her head felt both fogged and fiery. she found quite suddenly that she did not only yearn for the familiar comfort of Murdock, she craved it. swallowing dryly, she glanced once at the red fur before moving to her paws, ears somewhat pricked as she bowed, hoping to initiate the same kind of game she'd tried to always entice Murdock into. perhaps then she could bring back the comfortable illusion of brown fur and bi-toned eyes, the slight happiness that had been hers as she'd slept. RE: days turn, faster than a minute - Engel - March 15, 2018 Engel kept his tired eyes on her as she moved away from him to get into some sort of bow. He smirked, thinking she wished to play and got into a bow of his own before her. Tail wagging high above him. "I'm...gonna get ya!" he shouted, pouncing forth, but aiming to land just by her. RE: days turn, faster than a minute - RIP Poppy - March 15, 2018
the girl slipped sideways as he pounced, yet it hardly mattered - he missed by a wide berth. something like a smile ghosted a moment on her muzzle before she slipped towards him, aiming a playful nip at his shoulder before darting away again, stepping into the frigid ocean before realizing how close she stood to the surf, backpedalling again in the direction of engel.
RE: days turn, faster than a minute - Engel - March 15, 2018 Engelhard missed the pounce as she went sideways. She aimed a nip at his shoulder, and he playfully nipped back at her. She darted off again, and he once more gave chase, going for another pounce...Just as she began backpedalling towards him. And he saw this motion too late to change direction as he pounced towards behind her. RE: days turn, faster than a minute - RIP Poppy - March 15, 2018
this time, they clashed in an odd tangle, and she tilted forward dangerously close to the waves before finding her footing and turning back towards Engel, tail wafting behind her more freely now as she moved toward him, loosely grabbing an ear as she hummed a note.
RE: days turn, faster than a minute - Engel - March 15, 2018 Engel backed off almost immediately as she turned to face him. He gave an awkward smile, till she moved to grab his ear. He laughed as the sensation tingled and tickled him. He moved his jaw to gently nip at her cheek. The scent she had...it was starting to change how he was thinking as he nipped more. RE: days turn, faster than a minute - RIP Poppy - March 15, 2018
he acted in turn, and she moved suddenly to press against him, desperate for touch and for comfort. she gave a soft sound, and something bade her nip and worry his fur. something like agitation grew too in her chest, and she increased the speed of her actions, feeling something that somewhat mirrored (and yet did not come close to being) what she felt with Murdock, and glad for it. she could almost twist Engel's scent so that it was familiar and reassuring, and could squash with ease the misgivings and wrongness.
RE: days turn, faster than a minute - Engel - March 15, 2018 Engel sped up his nips at her cheek, moving to her neck as she moved against him. He was beginning to think of how liucky Murdock must have been to have her. Such a sweetheart, and she was so soft, so kind hearted... "Poppy" he murmured her name against her fur. He moved further along to begin nipping along her back. RE: days turn, faster than a minute - RIP Poppy - March 15, 2018
she was enthralled by the false comfort and security their touch offered, and let out a tiny whine as her tail wafted at her hocks. here was something like what had been missing from her life; little did she know that this was far too little to patch the hole in her life, and would do little but widen it when she realized totally what she'd done. but in the heat of the moment, ignorance was bliss, once she was careful not to fracture. and so she returned his nips, his gentle touch.
RE: days turn, faster than a minute - Engel - March 15, 2018 Engel was going further along her back with gentle nips. Soon he reached near her tail, and he had a brief hesitation. But by now he was in autodrive, and nipped at the base of her tail gently. He knew where this was headed....but he could not stop himself from it. RE: days turn, faster than a minute - RIP Poppy - March 15, 2018
he reached the base of her tail, and here, a new sensation; something she hadn't felt with Murdock, something they'd never done. she gave a small sound, tail moving to the side instinctively and the agitation-like feeling in her chest serving only to increase.

The red male moved around to her rear, sniffing at her entrance before hopping up behind her and getting into a suitable position. With Poppy being a dog she was much smaller, so her was sure to be careful as he started off with slowly thrusting. RE: days turn, faster than a minute - RIP Poppy - March 15, 2018
then he was atop her, hips moving against hers. she gasped, taken aback by the suddenness of the feeling, the hurt and the strangeness of it. "oh-" she knew then what this was, knew the wrongness of it, felt the shame gather in her chest. she could not hold in, however, the tiny noises that escaped her, though her gaze focused shamefully on the sand at her paws.
RE: days turn, faster than a minute - Engel - March 15, 2018 Engel thrust more and more until he met her entrance finally. It was a bit harder than most with her smaller frame however. He kept on going and going, enjoying the moment despite the fact that at the back of his mind he knew he was betraying a friend by doing this. But his state of mind was too far. RE: days turn, faster than a minute - RIP Poppy - March 15, 2018
for a while longer they moved together, and the girl did all she could to prevent the sharp edge of her shame from cutting up her chest. after a time, they stilled, and were bound together a moment longer. when she could, she moved from his embrace, chest heavy with guilt as she moved to press against his side, breath homing laboured. for a long time, she was silent, not entirely sure what they had just done. she knew, however, what exactly had just transpired, though could not quite admit it to herself.
RE: days turn, faster than a minute - Engel - March 15, 2018 They moved as one in this dance full of guilt and betrayal and animal instinct. But soon, the deed was done. Engel hopped off her, no longer wishing to think of what had just happened and secretly hoping nothing would come of this. He slid down to his belly on the ground, and falling asleep there out of exhaustion quickly. RE: days turn, faster than a minute - RIP Poppy - March 15, 2018
after a beat, he melted onto the ground, and the sheepdog stared down at him a moment. "he's dead." there came the words, whispered shamefully to the sleeping wolf. she could not stay, could not remain, could not face what she'd done. she'd used him, hadn't she? used him to gain the comfort and familiar touch she so craved. stifling a sob, she moved backwards, carefully at first.
and then she was gone, moving across the sand at a breakneck pace, breath coming laboured and chest ripped raw in an unseen way, as it had when Murdock had died. |
