Paint It Yellow - Arden - March 20, 2018

She came here for the colors. The bright greens and blues, the soft highlights of yellow breaking up the many different clusters of plantlife. While it wasn't ideal for peak color blooms, the greys of winter never held the flowers away forever. She breathed in deep and let her paws settle in, the ground still soft from a fresh coat of rain. No, it definitely still held a beauty of its own regardless of the weather.

Light eyes turned skyward for a moment, squinting a bit as she tried and failed to predict the dictation of the clouds. She let her weight settle further, her hind legs folding gently beneath her rear as she parked herself in for the long haul. Well, her variation of it anyhow. God only knew her attention span favored motion over stagnance but this was at least worth a little investment.

RE: Paint It Yellow - Asteria - March 21, 2018

Thought it fitting that my first post for this character would be with someone elses first post :3

The pads on her mitts tapped against the snow-turned-slush, the rythm matching the beat of her heart.

Step. Beat. Step. Beat. Step. Beat.

Do re mi.

The fae nearly laughed out loud as the rythms balanced each other out, pausing her steady trot. Her maw tilted up towards the heavens - towards the dove gray sky riddled with somber, charcoal colored cumuli. Asteria remembered the morning rain, its mark was still written across her agouti pelage in the silverline drops of dew frozen on the ends of her fur. Spring. It had seemed to cry, its tears attempting to wash away the white stain of winter. There was too much snow for such a thing to occur - not yet.

As those cornflower blue optics fell from the sky to look out to the horizon, an unfamilar shape came into view. A twinge of excitement fluttered through the fae, her mitts jumping into action once more.

Do re mi, fa so, la ti do.

The figure came into view, another wolf much like herself in coloring. Asteria's maw parted in greeting, "Hello there." Warmth tinged her voice at her inablility to contain how nice it was to see someone other than her own reflection in a river's edge.
