its a long way down - Skaro - April 06, 2018 The forest had welcomed him readily enough and he, a slick figment, crept about in the shadows without issue. The creature was tall and gaunt; he could fit in to the smallest places and go unnoticed with ease, skulking among the trees. He gave a few investigative sniffs to the air as he came up for air (so to speak) and found himself in a gaping field — he smelled wolf, but it was a weak scent. They were close. Without thinking he delved north, chasing that scent, and emerged along a curving ridge from which he could spy the caldera in the distance. Curious. RE: its a long way down - Buffalo - April 10, 2018 back to where he had met the dapple-eyed man, back to where he had become king of the nighttime world. byll was buffalo's eternal moan during the long wintry days that moved without end, rolling snow across what should by now be green land. or perhaps the madman did not know, and had never known.
but here he was again, with paws akimbo and fresh blood dripping in slow warm streams from his shoulders, the ruff behind his ears, his jaws. and now the two-toned eyes burned toward the inkblot from the clasp of the nearby trees. RE: its a long way down - Skaro - April 11, 2018 There was blood in the air. Like a shark drawn through the dark depths, he picked up his pace and flowed through the atramentous wood. Limbs reached and reached, pulling him easily from point to point; despite the length of the creature, he is low to the earth. He skitters with his nose poised before him and sniffing, but the scent only grows more intense if he gives in to pauses. There are eyes watching him within the dark — he doesn't see them, but he feels them, and soon the hunt for the blood becomes something else; he is curious about the eerie sensation. RE: its a long way down - Buffalo - April 15, 2018 he was not seen, but buffalo knew the other did not fear; the movement of sable limbs said as much. and so with a low snicker the red-cloaked thing turned into the wood, perusing with slow, slinking steps toward the stranger. perhaps he wished to be seen, perhaps not; it mattered little to buffalo, who had fixed the meet in his mind as a sordid little game.
