They shared another moment or two before he suggested venturing out into the brightening weather, and the prospect of watching him attempt and probably fail to catch another bird for her was too good to pass up. "That would be nice," she replied with a kiss to his chin as she rose to her paws and stretched, shaking rainwater from her coat. The two of them set out together toward the lake as the sun slowly peeked out from behind the clouds, making everything steamy and warm.
