When enrolled, you receive a PM automatically when people reply to your threads.  To remove go to ACCOUNT > EDIT OPTIONS, and select "Do Not Subscribe" under Thread Subscription Mode. Still get the PMs. RE: What should I do in order not to get a PM every time one of my threads have answers? - Fire - June 02, 2018 These are my exact settings to avoid PMs.  You may also have to go through all active threads and unsubscribe from them manually. :)  I also often uncheck "Alert me with a notice when I recieve a Private Message" so I don't get the annoying banner.
