Every face along the boulevard - Faeryn - June 27, 2018 Maybe @Rokig ?
It was late evening when the sylph strolled down the moor, awash with misty blues and the light of the moon to guide her way. Her figure danced swiftly across the ground, little pools of water rippling as she moved. Her gaze of cerulean hues flicked back and forth along the horizon, though her attention was focused primaily on the fish hanging limp betwixt her jaws. The stars.
The stars were beautiful tonight, and she'd had a sudden thought - what was better than a meal underneath a midnight sky alight with twinkling dots? She could listen to the waves, taste the sea on her tongue, and fill her belly with the residents of the ocean, giving thanks to the water for the blessing of a meal. And this was exactly what she intended to do. RE: Every face along the boulevard - Cephaloryn - June 27, 2018 He was restless which seemed usual lately. Rokig busied himself with work and yet it still seemed he wasn't tired enough at the end of the day. So he weaved under the moonlight. His silver hues reflected the light with ease. Anyone watching would be able to spot him like he was the lighthouse of the Isle.
His swift (as swift as his stocky form could muster) movements disrupted the pools of water but he realized that some of them seemed to be rippling before he had even got to them. Was someone else out here? Curiosity gripped him as he pushed on. Part of him hoped for it to be a familiar face. Maegi perhaps. He had been meaning to see her recently but found himself busy with bringing home strays. Or saving them here on the island. A shiver crept down his spine at the memory of Lainie in the water. He made another mental note to check on her too with hopes he wouldn't find her in the same situation again. The Seawolf was drawn out of his thoughts at an outlined figure up ahead. One that seemed familiar and unfamiliar all at once. She was certainly apart of Undersea but he didn't think they had formally met before. His pace slowed considerably as he let out a soft chuff of greeting. RE: Every face along the boulevard - Faeryn - July 14, 2018 The chuff broke her thoughts like the crack of ice as weight was pressed atop the surface. The sylph's head turned slowly, gaze catching sight of another figure who's pelt shone a mystical looking silver in the moon's light. A slight, warm smile graced her features, tail swaying gently behind her rear - she did not know him, but he was an Undersea wolf and so she would greet him as a friend. Faeryn returned the chuff, silently inviting him over with a sweeping gesture from her muzzle. "Hey." Her soft voice drifted on the breeze.
RE: Every face along the boulevard - Cephaloryn - July 24, 2018 He accepted the invitation fully, moving a bit closer so they wouldn't haven't to shout across from each other. Yet he still left an amount of room that showed he respected her personal space.
Bit restless too?He asked softly as he slid down to lay on his stomach. Maybe she just preferred to work by moonlight which was fine by him. It was perhaps logical to have someone up at any given time, that way nothing could surprise the group of island wolves. RE: Every face along the boulevard - Faeryn - July 29, 2018 She felt a little wave of relief when he accepted her invitation, moving closer so that they could converse without an unnecessary distance between them. To his enquiry, she nodded lightly, gaze reflecting the soft rays of pale light from the moon - "A little, though I find it's most peaceful at this time. I like the quiet. And the stars." Following her comment, her eyes drifted upward to peer at the glittering dots. At heart, she was still not the most comfortable around a large amount of wolves, despite how much she loved the wolves on this island. Night was peaceful, it was comforting, the gentle waves washing up on the shore gave a pleasantly calming sound that she adored, and accompanied by the dancing stars, it was a beautiful scene.
