puppy bowl sunday - Aditya - July 22, 2018

All pups encouraged to join! @River @Kasatka @Eventide @Meadow @Radcliffe @Padma @Faye and tagging @Dawn @Pema @Aviana for visibility

morningside's latest additions were now about a moon old, and were starting to venture out into the big world, their still-blue eyes wide with wonder. along with catori's children being hale and hearty, this was something to celebrate. eight pups, all of them a blessing. when he wasn't patrolling, aditya was by the dens, watching them grow. today, he wanted to celebrate.

bones on the ground, ready for some tug of war. snacks here and there--rabbits, squirrels, shrews. pretty things, polished stones and feathers, for the aesthetic-minded to admire. he'd even gone so far as designating a small hole in the ground as the "wrestling zone"--a chance for the aspiring warriors to show their stuff. it was basically a daycare for wolf pups, and aditya hoped they'd enjoy it.

he stuck his nose into each den, whuffing for the youngsters to join him, while offering a brief explanation to their mothers. "i promise i won't let them run away," he said, mouth twisting with wryness as he thought of recent events. to ensure their well-being further, he howled for @Sunny to serve as a sort of assistant. the boy was good with children, and they all really liked him. aditya did, too.

aditya walked out to the clearing, burly little timberlake following him, stubby tail wagging furiously. he nuzzled the chocolate-furred boy, picking up a stick and wiggling it front of his nose. "come and get it," he grunted through his teeth, letting out small snorts of laughter from his nostrils as the pup bounced in place, too excited to get a good hold on the toy.

feel free to PP Timberlake being bouncy and happy and really eager to try EVERYTHING

RE: puppy bowl sunday - Kasatka - July 22, 2018

somehow, other than timberlake, she is the first to arrive.  she has been striking out on her own more often; finally, the wanderlust has gripped her from the childlike sorrow that had manifested in her since grayday's death.  truthfully she had been leeching off of her mother's grief — she was young, she had scarcely known her father.  the true sorrows would come later in life.

she takes interest in the shiny objects and feathers and takes to batting them around on her lonesome, at least for the moment choosing to ignore the younger pup.

RE: puppy bowl sunday - Faye - July 23, 2018

she has yet to come to appreciate the outdoors, though the occasional pretty flower or rock made it worth the venture out of the den, sometimes. she did not like the way she was pushed outside that particular summer morning, made to sit amongst other, small-wolves (thought one, to her alarm, seemed a great deal bigger - yet not big enough to be a big-wolf)

she voices her displeasure with one of the huffs that are growing common, but is nonetheless attracted by a certain shiny stone that seems to catch the light in just the right way. mind made up, she begins a slow and careful march toward it; place a fair distance from where she'd chosen to huddle beside Aditya.

RE: puppy bowl sunday - Radcliffe - July 23, 2018

The little boy could barely hearing something through his ears, and he headed towards the sound. He stumbled here and there. But soon, he paused when he bumped into something furry, falling back onto his rump as he cried out in protest. He then resorted to moving against it, wanting to get past what was in his way.

I didn't specify what he's bumping into, so anyone can say it was them

Might just be popping in. Feel free to skip later on.

When Adi stuck his head into her den to invite her youngsters outside she was very intrigued. What was it that he had planned for them? She thought. She also thought that it was rather sweet of him to think of her children between all the pack duties that he had taken on. He reassured her that he wouldn't let any of them wander off and she smiled. "I'm sure you won't. But you might want an extra set of eyes. There are eight of them after all."  she said humorously.

She nudged each and every one of her pups encouraging them to each step out into the still very unexplored world. Anywho decided not to come were assured that she would be back soon, but that they would also be missing out on all the fun. When she arrived at the daycare like zone an instant smile was brought to her face. "Adi! You did all this. You're so sweet." she said as she took the time to glance over everything. Very pleased with what she saw she sat down on the sidelines, gesturing to her children to go play or talk to Adi while she watched.

anyone new can jump in, and I won't be enforcing a posting order!

he grinned at pema's joke, bumping her gently against the shoulder in a companionable fashion. once they had wandered outside, he glowed at his friend's praise, and dipped his muzzle in wordless thanks. while playing with timberlake, he noticed radcliffe was having a little trouble getting around, bumping into things, and barked gently at the pup, hoping to summon him closer. "come here, bachcha," he crooned, flicking his tail.

kitten and faye had chosen to join them, too; they both were interested in the objects around them, playing more or less by themselves. that was fine--but he did hope they would join in the general fun, sooner or later. he worried, in particular, about merbani shutting herself off from everyone else. he did not want her to become jaded.

strong little timberlake took the opportunity to yank the stick from his mouth while he was distracted by these thoughts, and adi laughed, even as the boy tumbled backwards with the force of his tug. "all right, tim?" he asked, smiling. he picked up another stick--not wanting to snatch timberlake's prize--and offered it to radcliffe.

"wanna play tug of war?" he mumbled, eyes sparkling.
