A day in London - Steph - July 25, 2018 She had set out for Morningside early that morning, after promising her mother she would come in hopes of bringing Pema back to look at Stark. She hadn't made any stops along the way, except to hydrate. She was steady in her pace, trying not to tire herself and have to stop for the evening. Her determination paid off. Steph arrived to the borders of Morningside well after the sun had set and night had blanketed the lands. Her tail wagged in excitement, though she made sure to keep it between her hind legs in submission. Her head tilted back to call for Pema, and for Sunny. She knew there was a good chance other wolves could come greet her that she didn't know, so she made sure not to be rude. She sat back on her haunches, and folded her ears on her lowered head. And then she waited. RE: A day in London - Sunny - July 26, 2018 Getting up early had always been his thing but this morning he slept in. He was laying in the shadiest part of his den when Steph's howl woke him up. It took him a few moments to recognise the voice and that she called for him, but when she did he stood up and stretched before running off toward the borders. "Hiya Steph! What brings you here?" Sunny greeted her enthusiastically, stepping over the borders to touch his nose to her shoulder before stepping back again. RE: A day in London - Aditya - July 27, 2018 skip me unless he's directly addressed!
the call was not for him, but he came anyway, curious to see what this was about. sunny and the girl were already conversing; aditya sat downwind, trying to pick up her scent. easthollow, it seemed. he did hope that she was not the bearer of bad news. their families had been thrown too many wrenches these past moons--they did not need anymore.
he smiled at sunny, if the boy happened to look his way, and gave a pleasant nod to the easthollow visitor. he padded close enough to hear their conversation, but not so near as to disturb them. sunny was the recipient of this message, after all, and adi was no fan of overstepping boundaries, even as a show of dominance. RE: A day in London - Loir - July 28, 2018 Have a Loir! Feel to have Steph talk to her!
Loir had been doing her own thing lately, just walking around, catching some prey here and there, but there was one thing, a scent that made her hackles raise slightly, a wolf that did not smell of Morningside. However, she calmed down after realizing it was an Easthollow wolf. Loir was friends with an Easthollow wolf, and besides, Easthollow and Morningside were allies, so Loir had nothing to worry about. Loir headed over slowly, but kept a distance after realizing the Easthollow wolf and Sunny, one of Loir's packmates, were conversing. Did something happen at all? RE: A day in London - Steph - July 28, 2018 Sunny arrived in no time, and Steph returned his nudge of affection. Hey, Sunny! she greeted happily. Their last meeting came rushing back to her. He confessing his love to her deceased sister, and she trying to cheer him up. She couldn't help but notice how much better he looked now. Before she answer him, movement caught her eye, and she looked towards the stranger. She gave him a soft smile, hoping expressing that she was no threat, before her eyes turned back to Sunny. I came in search of a healer, actually, she replied. Stark isn't well, and Mom wanted to see if you had a healer that could give me some advice to take back, she explained. A female arrived then, and Steph gave her the same soft smile. Steph was careful to convey her submission to the pack wolves, and a wag of her tail expressed a friendliness beyond that, as well. RE: A day in London - Sebastian - July 29, 2018 Sebastian heard the unfamiliar howl. He was close to the border and decided to have a peek. He did not do border patrol often but now Faye was here, and many other children, the male wanted to keep his eyes and ears alert. He wanted to feel useful as he couldn't help with the latest hunt. He nodded to Aditya when he saw the alpha. He stepped closer to the male that was keeping an eye on Sunny and an unfamiliar female. Sebastian sniffed the air to see if she was a loner or a pack wolf. The dark-colored female seemed from a pack but he wasn't sure which pack. Maybe she was from that Easthollow pack some wolves talked about, as Sunny and the female seemed friendly towards one another. He hadn't heard that the female was looking for a healer, so he decided to sit down next to Aditya and keep an eye on the exchange as well. Loir was there as well he now noticed. Sebastian just offered a smile to his leader to show that he was there to help guard the borders if needed. He looked like a tough warrior with all his large size, scars and docked tail. Though, he was far from that. RE: A day in London - Pema - July 30, 2018
She had been a late arrival to the call. It had taken her a bit longer to peel away from her pups and make sure that someone was there to watch them. If it had been another pack member she would have called back to them to come to her, but seeing as how the howl was not from a Morningside member she thought her presence as the border was needed. She came late in the conversation only hearing a few mumbled words with the word healer mixed in. She assumed that was the reason she was being called. The wolf looking familiar but it took a moment to realize that this was Steph who she had met briefly when she had visited Easthollow after Birk's death. Under those presences, she wanted to help the girl any way she could and asked. "Steph... Hi. Is there something wrong?" she asked as she didn't hear the first of what Steph had to say. Perhaps this would give the girl a chance to fully explain what Stark's condition way. RE: A day in London - Sunny - August 02, 2018 Sunny glanced up and caught Aditya's smile, returning it with a slow and relaxed sway of his tail to show that everything was alright. Then he turned his attention back to Steph, ears flicking at the sound of more Morningsiders approaching. With Aditya and two others watching it made him feel sort of under pressure, but he didn't show it instead giving Steph a concerned look when she explained. Stark....he hadn't met him had he? Yet if Valette had sent for help to an ally, he must be fairly important to them all. "Pema should definitely be able to help" he said gently just as the female in mention showed up. He gave Pema a respectful nod and stepped to the side some, allowing her to take over but staying close. He felt as the one to answer the call and also as someone familiar with Steph and Easthollow as a whole he should be allowed to help out in any way possible here. |
