Fustercluck - Peregrine Redhawk - June 24, 2014 Tagging: @Lasher :)
After eating some meat provided by one generous pack mate or another, Peregrine reclined in the grass near his sycamore tree, a long sigh loosing from his muzzle as he settled on the ground. Slowly, his chin sank onto his paws. He kept his eyes open a few moments, musing over random things (such as the fact that he'd been thinking of Lasher the day he'd broken his leg...), then closed them and fell fast asleep. Perhaps two hours later, he stirred from a very intense dream in which Lasher had mounted him. Peregrine hadn't liked that, so he'd bucked off the other male, only to grab and mount him in turn. The dream hovered vividly in his mind's eye for the moment and the Alpha male felt a flash of heat in his cheeks and, much to his embarrassment, another in his groin. RE: Fustercluck - Lasher - June 24, 2014 <3 his introduction to dante had gone pleasantly; the handsome creature seemed to have risen swiftly beneath the favor of blue willow and peregrine, and lasher was content to roost beneath him in the plateau's ranks. he continued to stock the caches nearest the rendezvous site, intending each kill specifically for the injured devil. since the pack meeting, he had not drawn close to peregrine, but now his eyes spotted the familiar form of the lithe panther, reclined in the spread of sycamore shade. from his post across the way, where he had been traveling in search of his own shadowed spot, taltos gave a low chuff and crossed into peregrine's presence, lowering himself swiftly a few feet away as not to keep his head higher than that of the pack's virile patriarch. true to his nature, lasher said nothing, but a brief movement of his tail behind his haunches bespoke his pleasure at seeing the man again. RE: Fustercluck - Peregrine Redhawk - June 25, 2014 When Lasher appeared, like a vision climbing straight out of Peregrine's receding dream, the Alpha male started and hiccoughed awkwardly. Only as the other male settled nearby did he finally rumble, "Hello, Taltos." Despite his use of the nickname, he sounded queerly formal and shook his head, laughing lightly at himself. "What's happening?" he asked much more casually in the next moment, thumping his own tail in a sign of welcoming. He was happy for company, even if Peregrine had a hard time figuring out his own feelings about Taltos. "Sucked any good dicks lately?" he found himself quipping, perhaps a bit too casually, his expression momentarily freezing after the words left his mouth. RE: Fustercluck - Lasher - June 25, 2014 i choked eating these grapes ty peregrine's greeting was summarily followed by the charming crudeness that lasher had come to associate with the panther. laughter! he exclaimed, the emerald of his dancing eyes catching the sunlight. perhaps another wolf would have taken offense, but taltos was intrigued. unfortunately, my offer has only been extended once, and rebuffed, taltos bemoaned mockingly, lips curved in a smile. why? is the plateau known for good dicks? was the man's next rejoinder, and his gaze shone with the amusement of a pleasing joke, though there lurked the remaining undertone of attraction for peregrine, a tint to the eye he no longer attempted to veil. RE: Fustercluck - Peregrine Redhawk - June 25, 2014 Whoops. :D
Tyler's asleep on the couch and there's a documentary about parrots playing on the TV and the narrator keeps talking about "sexy feathers" wat the fok. When Lasher seemed amused, Peregrine's frozen features morphed into laugh lines of his own. "Well, I'm not personally acquainted with any of them but my brother does live here and all Redleaf-DiSarinno males are well-endowed..." His eyes danced as he ran with the joke. He wondered what Atticus would make of his brother cracking homoerotic jokes. For some reason, this thought made his insides shrivel a bit and his laughter quietly died. Then he considered Lasher's remark and he felt oddly flattered that the other wolf did not go around offering his services to any handsome face. Peregrine couldn't imagine why it mattered but it pleased him nonetheless. "No other dudes have caught your eye then?" Peregrine asked, perhaps a bit solicitously. RE: Fustercluck - Lasher - June 25, 2014 hmm, taltos lilted, but i daresay atticus is not as pleasing to the eye. he touched the unseen line betwixt them, and danced back; peregrine has eased himself into jokes, but overt flattery was to flirt with shadows. for a moment, the delta let his eyes alight upon the panther's pleasing features. none. i am a lover of beauty, in all forms, in both the fairer and the stronger sex, but there are only certain forms of loveliness which cause my eyes to linger. he left the undercurrent of words unspoken, for there was no need, and dark ears preened forward for the devil's response. RE: Fustercluck - Peregrine Redhawk - June 25, 2014 The rush of heat caused by his dream returned when Lasher spoke, as ever flattering and enchanting Peregrine with his fanciful words. The Alpha male felt at once pleased and embarrassed. He felt... drawn to Taltos. At the same time, he naturally resisted this attraction. He was a guy's guy. He was also heterosexual. Weren't his children living proof of that? "Oh, yeah? I don't think I've ever been called beautiful or lovely before..." He trailed off, then chuffed and admitted, "I kind of like it." He paused, then swirled his tongue around his mouth in a thoughtful fashion before asking, "If you like me and think I'm pretty"—he fluttered his eyelashes—"then shouldn't you be trying to, like, woo me? By bringing me flowers and writing me poems and shit?" RE: Fustercluck - Lasher - June 25, 2014 i forgot to respond to the sexy parrot. thing that narrator is weird. but some birds of paradise are fairly flashy it seemed his leader was warming to the chosen topic, and taltos watched him with a mixture of amusement and interest, his smile broadening at the lap of lashes against smooth dark cheek. their words had taken a turn down a trail with which taltos was familiar, and he laid out his forelegs closer toward peregrine under the vague pretense of a stretch. indeed, he responded, eyes glowing. that i should be doing. but it is customary to first ask permission before beginning to woo someone, peregrine, lasher softly informed the devil, a glimmer of desire flustering his words somewhat. he did not ask this of the panther, not yet, wanting to see first how he would respond. RE: Fustercluck - Peregrine Redhawk - June 25, 2014 I for one am not sexually attracted to parakeets.
While I was writing this, Tyler farted really loud and I turned around and he's sitting on the toilet and we made eye contact...... :( He had thought about this more than he'd admit, even to himself. Much of it he'd contemplated while bedridden after the fracture. If he was being honest with himself, Peregrine was... he supposed curious was the most suitable word. Homosexuality was something that had never really crossed his mind. He was a very typical wolf in many ways and even contemplating the idea of romantic interactions with another man felt so taboo. Still, he would be lying to say Lasher didn't intrigue him in that way. "If you're all right with the possibility that I may continue to rebuff you," Peregrine answered, "then show me what ya' got, Taltos. I'm... I guess you've piqued my interest. But be discretionary, if you please. I have a family," he reminded Lasher in a deep, gentle voice. Despite his even tone, his heart hammered in his chest. He felt so strange and daring and he had no idea what he was doing, really, or the hell might come of this. RE: Fustercluck - Lasher - June 25, 2014 yes they don't do it for me either. oh wow lol. sometimes william barges into the bathroom when i am indisposed and starts rummaging through things and i'm just like....i'm not peeing so...please leave wtf are you doing :l taltos blinked in surprise. he had not expected peregrine to warm so soon, and though he did not need the warning toward cautionary behavior, he admired the panther all the more for his own discretion. such liaisons were not the bother of the entire pack; indeed, lasher would take pains to ensure that his intentions were not easily found out. having been granted the proverbial permission, taltos relaxed, murkwater eyes holding those of the dark leader for a moment. he said nothing for a long span of time; then presently a grin curved his jaws. i will tell you a poem from my own tongue and my own lands. i would like to begin with this, he explained softly, before a breath swelled his chest and lasher let the syllables of the soft native lilt spill forth: he fell silent then, the echoes of the familiar words reverberating in his tongue, his skull, his very heart, and watched peregrine for the sheer pleasure of the vision. RE: Fustercluck - Peregrine Redhawk - June 29, 2014 Although Peregrine would've explained that he didn't want to subject his children to any confusion engendered by their father's courting behavior, whether the other wolf involved was male or female (and this much was true), Peregrine also didn't want anybody knowing of his same-sex curiosity, at least for now. Lasher didn't seem perturbed by the request, in any case, and he vowed to honor it, which was a relief for the Alpha male. When the other male proposed a poem, Peregrine dipped his muzzle to invite the male to continue. He listed raptly as Lasher's talented tongue wove words in an entirely alien language. Although Peregrine couldn't understand any of it, he enjoyed the sound of Lasher's timbre filling his ears. When he finished, the swarthy male said, "I didn't understand a word of it," and grinned mischievously, "but it sounded great." A bit of a cheeky smile played about his mouth and he returned Lasher's gaze, holding it for a few beats. Feeling slightly awkward but nonetheless compelled, Peregrine stretched forward, tentatively touching his muzzle to the side of Lasher's neck, just below the chiseled curve of his jawbone. Pausing briefly, Peregrine then nuzzled him, his tongue even darting out to leave a small peck of sorts on the other male's throat before he became self-conscious and withdrew. Still, his blue-green eyes danced. RE: Fustercluck - Lasher - June 29, 2014 he gave a gentle curve of his lips. love and burning hearts, taltos explained. a poem; 'twas one he had recited to deirdre when she lay with empty eyes upon the very threshold of her home. but he had envisioned it into words for the sable panther spun on gossamer intention. peregrine continued to surprise him; lasher's eyelids fell to half-mast and he leant openly into the other's brief touch, fire tracing behind the devil's lips. when the beautiful eyes sought his own, taltos watched peregrine for a long moment, desire welling from the depths of his gaze, and at length he reached out toward the leader in turn. he mimicked peregrine's soft gesture, containing himself to a few scant presses of his lips against the other's throat, his jawline, taking his scent but keeping himself aware of the small boundary that separated them yet, that had not yet been crossed. pulling back somewhat, he found peregrine's eyes with his own, silently waiting, inviting. RE: Fustercluck - Peregrine Redhawk - June 29, 2014 I was thinking of having another thread between these two set during the eclipse? You game? I can start. ;)
When Lasher returned the gestures, Peregrine found himself leaning into them, silently inviting them. His eyes closed partway as he relished in the feel of another's touch for the first time since before the girls had been born (for that had really been the last time Hawkeye had had time for intimacy). He realized suddenly how badly he'd missed it and how much he loved this type of connection. A fierce longing rose up within him. His eyes opened again and he returned Lasher's gaze. He'd loved wooing Hawkeye; it had made him feel very masculine. Somehow, he still retained his sense of male prowess despite being the object of pursuit this time around. He felt virile beneath the other male's heavy gaze. Once more, he arched his neck, preening Lasher's dark cheek gently with his teeth. He then withdrew and painstakingly pushed himself to his feet. It was slow enough not to seem particularly abrupt, yet he favored his companion with an apologetic look. "You'd better go before we get carried away," he said very softly. "It's not that I don't sort of want it to happen, it's just... I'm not ready yet. I want to approach this slowly and make sure it's what I really want. And that's not wholly because you're another guy. When my mate-ship ended, I promised myself I wouldn't enter another relationship lightly. I'm going to take my sweet, sweet, sweet time." He stopped there, his eyes begging Lasher to understand and forgive him for any offense. RE: Fustercluck - Lasher - June 29, 2014 i'm game <3 alas, but it was over before it had begun, the budding heat of mutual desire. taltos was not irked by peregrine's words, the slow rise of his leader to four paws; truly, he appreciated the explanation, and gave a gentle nod, though his heart had yet to calm itself from the pounding reverberation that the devil had brought unto it. take all the time that is needed, peregrine, lasher murmured softly, for while he too had missed the intimate touch of another, the familiarity, his entire body yearning for it, he was not so selfish that he did not fully comprehend the leap that the jet panther was intending for himself. his own affections were timeless, ageless — the mortal concept of minute and hour made no difference unto him, and taltos was content to happily grant peregrine whatever he so desired. RE: Fustercluck - Peregrine Redhawk - June 29, 2014 Here you go! [mate]
Lasher seemed to take all of Peregrine's hesitations in stride, which was unsurprising, everything considered. When he forgave the Alpha male his would-be trespasses, Peregrine favored Lasher with a crooked smile and a final, lingering and fond look. He then turned away, breaking the sensual tension, and settled beneath his sycamore tree to resume his nap. He hoped his dreams would pick up right where they'd left off... |
