Hello, new friend - Loir - August 11, 2018 Loir was rolled on her back, looking up at the sky. She loved Dawnlark Plains, it was a pretty place in her opinion. She loved it as much as she loved Morningside, a pack she had been a member of. Loir had made friends, maybe an enemy or two, but she didn't care. She let out a small yawn as she managed to get up, and then she looked up at the sky. Now, she wanted to hunt. However, Loir didn't really feel like hunting, and mainly felt like she needed someone to help her. @Radcliffe RE: Hello, new friend - Radcliffe - August 11, 2018 Radcliffe stepped out of the den. He took in the sunlight, rolling onto his back. The pup let out a loud squeak noise as he rolled over a few times. And his nose caught a curious scent. So he got out, stumbling perhaps a bit too far from the den to follow it. And bumped into a tree on the way, letting out another squeak sound. RE: Hello, new friend - Loir - August 11, 2018 Loir then caught a scent and looked over to notice a pup, and she knew who it was. Radcliffe! He was one of Shale and Pema's children if she had remembered correctly. Concern filled her as she noticed Radcliffe knock into something. "Oh my Radcliffe! Are you alright?" She asked with concern, heading over to the little pup. Loir wanted to make sure he was fine, and began looking to see if he got any wounds or bruises or bumps. RE: Hello, new friend - Radcliffe - August 11, 2018 Radcliffe gave a huff and a glare at the sudden loud call of his name, and then shook his head after he had knocked into a tree. He stood up, and sniffed at the ground after being checked over. The scent was close. His nose moved up the wolf's leg and he found the scent wasn't past the wolf. It was the wolf. He was not amused. RE: Hello, new friend - Loir - August 11, 2018 Loir then noticed Radcliffe begin to smell her leg, and apparently he may have thought that she was something else, but she didn't know. Radcliffe was just a pup, and new to this world and exploring. "My name is Loir." Loir said, sitting down as she introduced herself. "You're Radcliffe, right?" She wanted to be sure this wasn't the wrong Radcliffe, otherwise Loir would have to go find someone else. Loir then looked around, the smell of prey making her hungry, but she would save her hunger for prey for later. RE: Hello, new friend - Radcliffe - August 11, 2018 The wolf gave a name, but he wasn't so bothered. Names didn't have much meaning to him so far. When hearing his name however, he put his attention up to their gaze. Then another scent got to him, and the curious pup was there one second, sniffing off the next. RE: Hello, new friend - Loir - August 11, 2018 Loir offered a smile as she noticed that maybe Radcliffe had caught the smell of prey just like her, and she was glad that she had got his name right. "You smell prey too, huh?" She asked, smiling. "Maybe I can teach you how to hunt a rabbit." Radcliffe, if she was correct, was old enough to hunt, well, small animals. He was way too young to hunt bigger animals just yet. Loir then began to track down some rabbits, staying slow so that way Radcliffe could follow her with ease. Maybe she could teach Radcliffe how to hunt small animals. RE: Hello, new friend - Radcliffe - August 11, 2018 Radcliffe's ear flicked upon hearing her words. Though he didn't exactly understand the meaning to it, he followed the scent while listen. What was a rabbit? He looked up at her curiously, he didn't know what a rabbit was. Even though he had no doubt had a taste before of one. RE: Hello, new friend - Loir - August 11, 2018 Sensing that Radcliffe was close by, Loir began tracking some rabbits. Eventually, she came across some burrows and began digging in quite a hasty manner, kicking up dirt, but making sure not to kick any dirt in the pup's face. These rabbits are cunning. The black-muzzled she-wolf thought as she continued digging. Eventually some rabbits began hopping out, and Loir waited for them to be calm. Eventually, she began stalking one, eventually getting close to it. She killed it and was prepared to move onto the next one. RE: Hello, new friend - Radcliffe - August 13, 2018 Radcliffed followed really closely to the older wolf. And then, the wolf paused by a hole. Radcliffe wanted to see what was in the hole. Wanted to see what was down there, but then there was digging and he headed back suddenly to avoid all of the dirt being flung at him. Then, things came out! Radcliffe yipped and went to follow, only to trip on a paw and fall flat on his face. Missing the wolf killing one. |
