Drowning in myself - Moonshadow - August 22, 2018 I need help. I'm desperately trying to keep her active. Present dated
Summer brought forth new life and the dark female began looking for some prey of any kind. Since the incident, Moonshadow hadn't tested herself to see if she was still able to hunt. A rabbit suddenly or as she should say somewhat came into view. She crouches down as she hides herself in whatever she could find, slowly stalking the animal then heads off in a sprint after it. Though the animal was clever, she quickly caught up to it and grasped onto the creature with her sharp jaws quickly ending its life. RE: Drowning in myself - Titmouse (Ghost) - September 30, 2018 When a rabbit was about to die, it often would let out a blood-curdling shriek that any human would find appalling for its striking familiarity. Perhaps humans did not know how to kill without causing terror — but not the wolf. They were built to be efficient. So it comes as no surprise that the death of this hare goes unnoticed to the boy as he wanders the territory; he is not known for being a very active creature since his inception among the Blackfeather wolves, nor was he expected to be after his ordeal in the caves. But he was feeling much more energized of late, and with the aid of a few poppy seeds Mou was able to control his quaking legs long enough to go for a stroll. He only paused in his wandering when the scent of blood lit upon the air. It wasn't a strong smell, and that told him it must've been a small creature to begin with. He paused, looking around with a wavering level of concentration as his medicine began to take effect in his system; being half blind wasn't very helpful when you were scouting out your home for threats. Mou eventually took notice of a dark shape in the grey shadows, and carefully drew himself along the path towards them, like a ghost. RE: Drowning in myself - Moonshadow - October 01, 2018 Through the haze she made out the figure of a wolf. Normally she was accustomed by the dark pelts of her pack mates but it seemed lately she was seeing lighter coats such as this, she aproached the pale figure slowly. "Hello?" She called, unsure if her mind was begining to play tricks on her as it seemed to do much lately. RE: Drowning in myself - Titmouse (Ghost) - October 01, 2018 Evidently he was not as slick as he thought, because the stranger paused and perked up as if to listen for him. They ignored their meal for a few moments; then, upon noticing him, called out. The boy would've said something had he the ability. Instead he slipped through the shadows and came out from his lurking spot by ducking through the dark. As he emerged, scattered light creeping through the tree boughs slipped across him. He paused once he got a better look at the stranger but still didn't make a sound, tilting his head with a curious expression on his face instead. After a moment he approached her — leaving quite a gap in case she was dangerous — and caught sight of the dead rabbit. He huffed a breathy sound and sniffed the air, finding the smell of the fresh kill to be quite appetizing. |
