she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Shisu - September 01, 2018 A silver wolf walked out from the darkened forest, her light colored fur contrasting from the haunting area she dwelled in. She let out a faint, 'wow,' as a bright blue gaze looked at the endless green field before her. Despite the area being so close to the Blackfeather woods, only now did she come out. The lass originally came from the East, being found by Kove in Wapun Meadows; she saw the areas near there, but now was the time to see the west. Shisu felt nervous about stepping out of her home territory, but she felt even more nervous being in it. The darkened atmosphere, and the mysterious wolves she had yet to meet caused her a rather good scare. It was difficult to walk up to her Packmates and greet them, and she did meet some of them, but felt their terms weren't good enough to be 'friends.' It was hard to adjust to the Blackfeather Woods atmosphere, as every step she took seemed to be followed by the endless stare of birds, as well feeling like someone was always whispering in her ear. Even strolling alone was... Scary. The thought of leaving this place had not even crossed her mind, because she was determined to make it her home despite how fearsome the area was. Shisu's saddened mood turned a bit brighter as she gazed at the sea of grass before her, "beautiful." She felt the ripples of it was a sight to behold, it was fortunate that the area was so close. Though when she stepped closer to the blades of glass, only then did the agouti realize how tall it actually was. Stepping in, she could faintly stick her head out while the rest of her body was wrapped in it, making quite an amusing sight for anyone to see. At times like these she really did want to be as large as some assume her to be; like a large bear. Though the best her growth could obtain was a cub, inmitating a bear from afar. She held her nose high while trying to navigate herself through the grass, sometimes sneezing as a piece wisped passed her nose. RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Onyxia - September 06, 2018 ooc: Mind if I join? The scent of another waft through her nostrils like a sore thumb in the wind. It was another female. She didn't see the other femme, only until she watched the grass moving from afar. She wasn't sure if she should approach from her safe distanced area where she was standing from. She had come from the other territory, as she had been wandering for a while now. It was time to explore this new untouched by man land. She gazed over her shoulders to make sure no one was following her from whence she came, and all seemed too safe as she watched the grass move and make a path behind the object moving within it. It was sort of amusing, perhaps this wolf may have been in her youth, if not, sure seemed like it, but Onyxia wasn't here to judge. She was more on the serious side of things making sure the apocalypse wasn't following her here. The sound of the other's sneezes made her sit down near a puddle. She sniffed the puddle before drinking it making sure it was safe to drink before lapping up some of the water within. She was a conspiracy theorist and was always on the lookout for things that might seem out of sorts. Her eyes found themselves wandering back over to the playful female within the grass, she wanted to join in on the fun but wasn't trusting the situation as she watched. A sigh fell from her lips as she stood upon all fours shaking out her fur. A breeze caught through her pelt and ruffled it nice looking as if she may have been rolling in the grass. She looked over her shoulders once more before calling out a hello. Ahoy in there.. She waited for a response while keeping her safe distance. She wasn't here to fight, or start anything, but was more or so lost if anything, and was in dire need to know of where she was standing. She needed to know to assess how far she was away from the post-apocalyptic world she had come from. RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Shisu - September 06, 2018 ya!
Shisu felt ticklish, as sometimes the tall grass wisps by the thinner parts on her pelt, almost making a chuckle arise. Though most times she tended to sneeze instead of laugh, but the enjoyment of the moment made the sneezing worth it. The moving through the high grass temporary stopped; ears flickered from a sound that was not natural to the terrian, 'a-a wolf?' she thought. While wariness striked her, there was also a slight excitment. There was always that desire to make new friends in this unknown area. It was that one feeling that helped break through her general shyness. "H-Hello!" Shisu stammered, but called out. She could not detect where the voice had come from, for the grass was starting to get too high for the dame to see. Perhaps she went in a little too deep... Though with hope, she called out to the stranger she thought she heard speak. There was a slight embarassment within her face, and she was thankful she wasn't able to be totally seen. RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Onyxia - September 06, 2018 ooc: Sweet! Onyxia watched as the dame exposed her nose high up in the air, and she caught just the padded tip of it as she replied to her hello. The other female was well covered by the thick glades and offered the other lady some sort of protection from the outside world. Smart; a perfect place to hide, even for Onyxia. Once the other female called out in reply, it was a tell-tale she was shy. Perhaps startled if anything. She just stood there like a fool unsure whether or not to approach, as the other dame definitely had an attacking advantage over she did. The other female could possibly see her as she stood there on the outside, but Onyxia could not fully see the formation of her. She wasn't moving forward until she saw what she was possibly up against. I hate to bother you miss, but do you know where I am?.. I'm lost. She couldn't help but reply with the question. She tilted her skull slightly to the right to listen but kept her eyes locked on the tall glades. Her body tense ready to run or fight. RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Shisu - September 06, 2018 Shisu stood where she was, she couldn't see her way out, nor the wolf that approached. She was a bit embarassed on being in this predicament; unable to see though the tall grass to get out... The damsel felt a bit guilty she couldn't properly greet the other party. Though that feeling only increased from the question the stranger asked. Do you know where I am? "U-uhm," she paused, "I'm, not sure either... Miss." Shisu didn't want to falsely say she did, because she is also a bit new to this land! She only knew the gist, as she originally had to cross a mountain in order to reach Blackfeather woods, but other then that, she didn't know any of the areas, "b-but... Um. You're near, a Pack!" RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Onyxia - September 06, 2018 The only thing Onyxia heard was ''pack''. She figured as much but didn't say anything about it. Her eyes watched for the mysterious female to pop out of the tall glades but she wasn't showing herself. Despite the girl not popping out of the grass, she would never forget her voice if she heard it in the future. So the girl was just as lost as she was... Great, just bloody great! A sigh emitted from Onyxia's lips as she sat upon haunches figuring the other female was of no threat. Are you going to come out? She tilted her head to the side in question. This mysterious lass had peaked her interest further. I won't hurt you. I swear. She wanted to see who she was talking to, at least gather a face to that mysterious voice within the glades. She stood up on all fours again, this time leaning forward and lifting a hind limb to scratch an itch at her shoulder. She usually sat doing this, but it was a last minute unexpected itch. She shook out her pelt when finished and locked her gaze on the glades waiting for an answer or for the mystery girl to step out. RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Shisu - September 06, 2018 oof short post, sorry aa
Anxious as she was, Shisu kept twisting her body feeling restless, making obvious noises in the grass, "Oh gosh. I, uhm, can't..." she felt the heat rise to her face while admitting her lack of height, "see my way out..." She really had no thoughts that this strange wolf would cause harm, and even cocked her head to the side when the unknown wolf tried to reassure her. She just couldn't see! The damsel may look like a bear due to her thick fur, but her height isn't one of a bear, she just a cub. Meek as one too, as her head then lowered to the ground in shame. "I-I'-m sorry." RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Onyxia - September 06, 2018 ooc: Not sure if she is a yearling so im assuming.. Sorry my bad if not. Onyxia patiently awaited for the femme to come out from the glades, but she admitted that she was unable to. A narrowed expression forced Onyxia to look around herself before she decided to go into the grass and sniff her way to the other female wolf. She was surprised to see the wolf was much younger than she was. No wonder she couldn't find her way out. She stopped short as she poked her way through and spotted the younger girl. Well mystery girl, I found ya! Her stoic expression lightened to a brave smile. What's a youngin such as yourself doing out here alone? She looked her over as she sat on her haunches and lifted a paw to show she wasn't there to harm her. It's a harsh and dangerous place in this world...' She added as she waved her tail from side to side. It was a slow wag of greeting. I'm Onyxia.. I'm from the Lower Mainland, but enough about me, let's get you home. She was offering to escort the young girl home because it was getting late and other bigger and more vicious predators were lurking in the darkness waiting to capture prey such as them two. Got a name young one? RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Shisu - September 06, 2018 its ok! Her personality definitely makes her seem like one, but she's a young adult, being two years old.
Her heart pounded when she heard the stranger enter the grass. She felt anxious meeting another, especially someone who has to retrieve her! Shisu felt a tinge of guilt, feeling bad for the female needing to come over. Though that guilt replaced back to embarassment upon, 'well mysterious girl, I found ya!' "H-Hello." Shisu meekly replied, dipping her head in a formal greeting. While the wolf before her smiled, she continued feeling embarassed and was unable to meet the copper gaze. She kept her head lowered, and her eyes kept darting around at the ground, unable to find a place to focus. It felt even worse when the wolf before her assumed she was a youngin. If someone could die in embarassment, Shisu would pass by now, or she could be the first. She didn't realize her personality, as well as being slightly smaller in average; could make other assumes she was just a young one. However, she's an adult, a young adult of two years. Being sheltered, there wasn't really a moment she 'grew up.' The unusual trust in strangers also showed her immaturity, "I-I'm just, exploring outside of my home territory. It's uhm, Blackfeather woods." Those who were familiar with the area would be surprised such a meek, and light-pelted wolf such as herself was in the Blackfeather Woods pack. They were infamous troublemakers and assassins after all, and she was just a weak agouti silver female. Even she did not yet know of the dark history... "Uhm, I'm, Shisu, Shisu Marisol Beliveau.. Miss Onyxia." RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Onyxia - September 06, 2018 Onyxia stepped back seeing how nervous the she-wolf was in her presence. She twisted her smile with doubt, and perhaps she got too close for comfort. Ooops. She corrected herself as she took a step back and assessed her. She was no mere pup from what she could tell, a young coming of age adult perhaps? Maybe Onyxia was uninformed of her age, but regardless, they were on dangerous ground, and if anyone new these turfs, it would be the pack wolves nearby as well as the Cougars and bears who might be preying on such wolven. Onyxia would fight if she had too, but she often times wasn't one to start turmoil. She could tell the other wolf was feeling embarrassed by her body language. She offered a wag of her tail letting Shisu know she was friendly. She was bigger than Shisu and a bit thicker in build, while Shisu seemed to have a perfect petite formation. This female could be agile if she put her size to use one day. The younger she-wolf announced she was from Blackfeather Woods. She's never heard of the territory, but the offer still stood to escort her home. Not familiar with Blackfeather, would it be pack territory, are you part of the pack I assume? She sniffed at her catching wiff of several other wolven scents upon her pelt. She stepped back assessing the younger female. Nice to meet you Shisu, offer still stands. RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Shisu - September 06, 2018 She unknowingly felt reassured when the wolf took a step back, as well as the friendly body language. Shisu's own body felt more eased, but her anxiety doesn't simply wallow away easily. She still could not lift her blue gaze to meet the Onyxia's, "I, uhm, recently joined it..." It hasn't been too long since she officially joined- yet she is the Delta of the Pack. Due to the relatively small number, her rank came at ease, while most would need to work for it. Even the rank caused her guilt... "They're nice wolves." Well, Shisu technically only met several, three at most. It was a small, rather silent pack, much unlike the warm and loud one she dreamed of. She tried her best to hold the doubts about joining in the back of her head. "Its the, dark forest thats, uhm... East?" Her gaze lifted upwards, but she could not see any stars yet. It'd be easier to find directions with the star cordinations, but the silver wolf could only guess with their absence. Though the forest was near! She was sure of that, Shisu at least knew it should be next to the area. Though... The offer. There was obvious hesitation, she didn't worry of the stranger herself, but more if she was allowed to bring this wolf to the area. RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Onyxia - September 06, 2018 Onyxia wasn't normally the kind of wolf to go out of her way to help another nor do a good deed. Perhaps something in this land forced a change within herself. She took note of how nervous the younger female seemed to be. She listened how Shisu cut herself off to let Onyxia know of direction to escort her to; she wasn't going to waltz in on the territory, that would be daft. She was merely going to drop her off at the borders and be on her merry little way. Just joined the pack huh? Any holding rank? She asked as she backed out of Shisu's way to allow her room to disperse. She pointed with her muzzle in the direction she allowed herself entry into the glades to show the girl a way out. Onyxia was guessing the female may have held a lower rank by watching how she held herself. She wasn't going to insult the female with her insinuations, but her mind screamed Omega. Onyxia was a commander of a highly regarded pack from the Lower Mainlands, all until the apocalypse took place there. Here seemed to be a fresh new world, as Onyxia was worried about never finding a new place to call home. This place was refreshing! The began to head East in hopes for good conversation along the way. RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Shisu - September 06, 2018 She followed; dipping her head in gratitude to the wolf as she showed where to go. Gosh, surely it'll be a story to tell someone later. She gotten lost in the tall grass, and needed someone not even native to the land show her the way. While thankful to Onyxia, and even felt relieved by the guidance, she still felt embarassed. "I'm, oh gosh," now she felt embarassed by a different topic. The silver lady hesitated on it out of guilt, because she really did not think she deserved the title. It was only granted, due to the low number her pack has... "the, Delta.." Shisu said it very softly, perhaps if one was not paying attention they would not hear a word. At least she would hope they wouldn't hear. Quickly trying to change the topic, "What about, you miss?" her voice raised a bit by mistake while trying to not bring attention to the Delta rank, "w-where are you from? RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Onyxia - September 06, 2018 ooc: I hope you don't mind my character offering a playful spar :-) Once Shisu announced her rank she paused in her footing. It was the fourth rank from being an Alpha. A Delta was usually a Beta in training and Beta was usually the Commander for where she was from. Leaving out the Gamma, as Gamma's were ''usually'' the elders of the pack. Maybe things were different here? She couldn't help but stare at Shisu. A commander in training?... I mean.. Beta in training... Maybe she was incorrect about how this pack ran things, but it was how it was run from where she hailed from. It was then asked where she was from seeing the girl had no confidence. She needed to train this girl, and fast, or she wouldn't last very long before the pack ate her alive. Where I come from, that's the ranks, I don't know how your Alpha runs things, but let me tell you this... You're not going to last without learning how to be more confident girl! I come from Lower Mainland BC nothing left of the place She offered her some information about her as she took a leap back suddenly and bowed to Shisu offering her a playful spar. This girl was going to learn how to stand her ground whether she liked it or not. If you don't want Omega, in which you never would want. Trust me... Lesson one, never lower your eyes from your opponent and keep them locked on your opponent at all times. She was egging the girl on with playful growls getting her to chase her or leap at her..... Onyxia wasn't going to hurt her in any way, but just to teach the girl a few moves. She wiggled playfully still in her bow position, keeping her skull lower than her opponents and locking her gaze on her. She snapped her jaws. Come at me... She dared her. RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Shisu - September 06, 2018 she's gonna cry LOL
personally i wouldn't mind but her personality won't allow it "Oh, no no... Oh gosh, i'm just, a regular member.. We don't have many in the Pack." Shisu quickly denied the whole 'beta in training,' she knew for certain there was nothing like that related to her rank. She had no idea if there was something like that even, she was too new to totally understand Blackfeathers ranking system. She only gotten her simply due to the lower numbers, there was only around a pawful of adults, and only two pups. Though from where Onyxia came from, her ranks seem to differ. Shisu felt her eyes dampened as the female started to be less friendly, and more intimidating. Never in her life has she actually done a spar, and doesn't even know what a playful spar was. She has bad memories of 'playing,' and shuddered at the memory. Very faintly did she feel the side of her ache, remembering an old wound she got from a 'play' accident. It not only scarred her physically (though healed), it left a deep emotional wound. She does not like fighting. She felt uncomfortable, as well as a bit hurt. She didn't understand that Onyxia was simply trying to boost her confidence and help the silver agouti, but Shisu didn't see it that way. She only saw someone out to hurt her. It was out of her normal comfort zone of plants and stars, an unfamiliar territory she never crossed out of fear. Her shaking and watery eyes clearly showed the unwillingless of a 'friendly' spare. RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Onyxia - September 06, 2018 ooc: lol ok The inviting wag of her tail ceased as she watched the other female carefully. There was no way this female was going to make it as a Delta! Her coy smile faded as she slowly stood up to full height seeing the girl wanting to cry. Alright, deary, no need to cry ... Let's get ya home. She offered a soothing tone as she padded close to her, but not too close to cause her further discomfort. I'd never dream of hurting the innocent, if anything, I got your back. She offered a wink, her words of truth sliced through the silence as they padded through the terrain towards the borders of her home. She felt guilty, but she only wanted to bring forth the fire within this girl, she must have it within her; doesn't she? Perhaps once the girl was older she may find it on her own. RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Shisu - September 06, 2018 i think this is a good ending to the thread?
unless you want Onyxia to come to Blackfeather forest Shisu was a big crybaby- so far several wolves she met, she ended up tearing up or crying. It was either due to her anxious nerves or simple fear, but nontheless it always ended with dampened eyes. All this crying and yet still wasn't immune to anything... She was delicate by nature, born with a weak consitution and still didn't try to grow stronger. Her meek nature simply held no responds to Onyxia, she only sniffled before nodding. Shisu would like to go home for today... RE: she turned her face up to the starlit sky - Onyxia - September 06, 2018 ooc: Sounds great. Tag me in it, so that I'm not actually fully trespassing. Although my character may still face a good beating. LMAO!! They seemed to pad in silence, she felt guilty and terrible for bringing on a playful spar to someone so vulnerable. I'm terribly sorry for frightening you. She wanted no hard feelings between them, but it could very well be the case. A frown washed over her mug as they padded to territory. |
