what had happened for the ghoul to have found himself there? his life, taken from him. the hope of returning it seemed to fade with each passing day. the devil played a cruel joke. all of his work for nothing; he still did not even have a voice.
how many souls would it take to satisfy the beast of the underworld? how many lives would need to be lost for the ghoul to return to his own. the swarthy creature prowled in search. the inkjet of his gaze locked on anything that moved.
