let's not fall in love - Saarthal - September 15, 2018

@Ali :)

winter was coming soon and the logical conclusion was for the three of them to settle down, join a pack, that kind of thing. that didn't mean saarthal had to necessarily agree with it - well, she did, obviously because she would die as a loner but there was a niggling sense of wrongness about it all. the roman didn't disclose this piece of information to the others but she did, however, wander off for a while to clear her thoughts.

just next doors. she'd be back before they knew it.

open fields always made saarthal feel nervous. she never knew why. but today, as the wind ruffled the furs on her back and the grass tickled her belly, she felt a sudden wave of exhaustion. sinking down onto her haunches, she reclined backward and let out a world-weary sigh.

RE: let's not fall in love - Ali - September 16, 2018

she was just so damn bored to be frank. this whole living life on the edge and getting to go wherever she wanted had sounded a lot more fun than the reality of it was proving to be. perhaps it was loneliness although she continued to stubbornly deny this fact- she could get by on her own she didn't need help or company. however as she now found herself in quite a depressing looking expanse of bare nothingness her mood would sour further- paws dragging as her tail dragged behind her. she was hungry too and she grit her teeth in frustration as her stomach practically snarled at her. autumn had descended on the land with little warning, giving the air a bite it hadn't had before and now she was wondering did that mean she should consider joining a pack?

usually such a vast open expanse would leave her giddy and filled with a buzz of adrenaline as it gave her the oppurtunity to do what she loved more than anything- run. but her tired muscles held none of such enthusiasm now as she plodded along with an irritableness that left her growling at stupid things such as simple stones sitting in her path as she'd hit them with an unnecessary amount of aggression. apart from the choppy breeze tearing over the unsheltered land the silence surrounding her was almost deafening and so when a sigh sounded off to her side she almost jumped out of her skin.

she whipped around, ready to take on a /pitiful/ pose of defence but spotted another fae (close in age to her?). her tail would lift slightly at this, teal eyes brightening somewhat as she trots over, having orginally been to the back of the other she makes a wide circle so she can approach from the front as not to startle the girl, she definitely was in no mood for a scuffle of any sort and she desperately didn't want her to leave either. she stops a tail length away and tilts her head to the side in a quick bird like movement, tail wagging slightly as she smiled. "hey!" she chirps in greeting, leaning back on her haunches as she eagerly awaits some sort of reponse.
