A Tisket always has a Tasket. You don't need a Basket, though. Keep that. - Valkyr - October 17, 2018

@Lilia because yes. @Vyn

Valkyr stomped through the breeze with something less pleasant than a scowl on her face. It was damned cold, and she prefered the summer. Stupid seasons, always on their bipolar shit. Yellow topaz with flecks of green crashed over the desolate sands and irritating chilly wind with a hulky body in pursuit of...what, exactly?

"Vyn, what even are we looking for, here? There's like, nobody," she barked, clearly done with this beach and everything revolving around it. "Yea, somebody was here like a good," she visibly sniffs the sky, the ground, and everything in between, "maybe a week ago, but they're hella gone now. What gives?"

Her thick hips swung as she turned her entire warm hued body to face that charming sister of hers. Well, charming to everybody else; Valkyr grew up with this girl - she was immune to that little act all the rest of the other gender fell for. "And if you're thinking I'm going in that freezing ass water girl, you got me a whole lifetime of fucked up. We're gonna have to chase something down." Looking around, her thick crown swiveled this way and that trying to find something that moved without her permission.

She mostly accompanied her sister in silence, busy scrunching her leathery nose at the taste of salt on her tongue and resisting the urge to conjure sea puns to pass the time. The bay was littered with curious scents and odd sights, but Vyn's legs ached and the girl was far too tired to actually look around. Yeah, turning her head to scour the shore was an extreme effort and frankly she couldn't be bothered. Her littermate, too, seemed disappointed with their trek and groaned miserably into the wind.

"Who knows. But it sure as hell stinks here - maybe you just can't smell 'em over the lovely, enticing aroma of fish." The wanderer deadpanned, rolling her eyes before squinting them to process her sibling's next words. Hah. She thought innocent little Vyn would suggest such a thing? "Nah I wouldn't send you out there, you wouldn't last a minute, and I don't wanna have to drag your seaweed-covered ass back to shore." She was way too heavy for that shit. Nuh-uh, ain't gonna happen; they'd have to find something somewhere else. The wolfess' viridescent gaze tipped  nonchalantly back and forth, sand-coated paws slowing to a halt in order for her to scan the horizon with ease.

the cairn claim is almost as magnificent as she imagines the sentinels had once been (and in a way, still are).  as far as lilia was concerned, these shores belonged to she and her siblings.  she had never been afraid to take and to claim, and this bay was no different.

already she was becoming acquianted.  there was a vast array of wildlife here that warsaw had not offered, and she was eager to get to know each and every rock and creature and plant that they bay had to offer.  she sinks beneath the waves and stays there for hours.

her head breaches the waves. the wind carries their voices, their echoes reaching her ear.  salt-crusted withers ripple to life beneath the weight of the water and she begins to swim like a predator towards the trespassers

they were beautiful, but not as beautiful as she.  the way they moved against each other twisted her heart for it reminded her of morrigan; she pushes it down as she clips towards them.

she's never been one to fight, and she knows that they need the numbers.  still, they had crossed over (presumably....) marked borders, and lilia could not fathom such a thing.  she breaks through their conversation with a single observation: you're close.

A snort flew threw her irritated snout; finally something they agreed on. Well that's not true. They agreed on abuncha shit, but they were just different about how they did it. Valkyr flat out admitted her lack of fucks to give, whereas Vyn toyed with folks a bit more, pretending she gave a fuck, then shattered others once she got bored of em. Either way,-

"Wow, thanks for the confidence, slut. Now I know to give you a seaweedy kiss when your birthday rolls around. Brand new perfume for you~" she smart-assed in a sing-song voice that sounded worse than the smashing waves they were forced to listen to. "In this case, we can bounce-" she concluded before someone decided to not only interrupt their conversation, but to exclude that point that they were trying to make. Topaz eyes locked onto the velvet tan chick sashaying her way over, disintrest gilding disturturbed distrust in the Reign's gaze. What the hell did that mean? Bluntly, she chopped a stocky body over to be closer to her sister, if not slightly before the svelt sibling. And even more bluntly, her sarcasm made no way to hide itself in her words. "What, to the sea, or to smacking your ass for just walking up to us like you got plans?"

At this point in Teekon Wilds, she didn't take strangers as kind as a typical girl did. They had come across plenty of strangers who either tried to take advantage of them, or had some unknown vendetta against them. Whatever it would be, she didn't have a problem throwing dow. This chick was smaller than her, anyways; one of those pretty girls. Now her sister might not have wanted a fight, or maybe she did? Who knew till somebody ended up bleeding to death on this beach? Turning slightly over her shoulder, she pointedly asked Vyn, right in front of the very wolf who even stated it,

"What's 'You're close' mean, though? Like, did we pass a border? Can't smell shit through beach-topia."

The girl gave a short laugh, a flurry of air billowing from her nose and floating in the salty air around them - autumn was fucking cold. She felt the wind rush against her sides, smoothing her coat against her body, and shook herself as though she could brush off the breeze like a feather. "You're welcome, bitch. You know you can always count on me for undying love and support~"

Before she could add another satirical comment, a random chic strolled her way into their midst, rudely interrupting their conversation and making a blunt statement that neither she or her sibling quite understood. Vyn raised a brow, though she was not afraid - she could defend herself, and Valkyr was by her side too. "Well hey there. I'm afraid you're going to have to be a little more specific, honey." As her sibling's topaz gaze flickered her way, the wanderer shook her head, rolling her shoulders back in a shrug, resisting the urge to place a smug grin on her delicate features.
