it’s not gay when it’s in a three way - Mallaidh - October 19, 2018

Being preoccupied since her fight with her brother, Mallaidh hadn’t noticed the waning of Saarthal’s scent. Mallaidh bumped into her enough but she’d stopped sleeping nearby without thinking about it. Her injuries have come and gone, the last remaining pieces on the way out the door, but that doesn’t make her feel any better.

Saarthal promised to to follow her wherever she went, to be by her side no matter what. On some level, she suspected she’d end up leaving. At some point, they always do and the two wolves that remain her constant leaves her torn. She’s not sure the others will care, or perhaps even notice, but Saarthal means something to her. She may not have been here long enough to matter to Drageda, but it doesn’t change her purpose.

Mallaidh sucks in a deep breath and tries to steady herself. She has to look for her, at least, like they did with Varinril—another sore spot in her tender heart—and the first thing she does is latch onto @Max’s scent. When she spots the girl she’s barely spoken to since arrival, her ears drop a little and she slinks forward slowly. Hey, she murmurs with a flick of her tail and bump to her cheek.

RE: it’s not gay when it’s in a three way - Max - October 20, 2018

max had been scarce ever since the encounter with ali. it wasn’t like she was being a total leech though, she would hunt, she’d patrol, she even started to gather up some herbs. she just wanted to do all this alone was all. it wasn’t completely out of character, she was always a little more on the independent side, or so she thought.

despite her time spent here, this place was still unfamiliar. she was lost and the only ones who made her feel grounded here were mallaidh and saarthal. they were her crutch, whether she acknowledged it or not and when saarth’s scent faded, she became worried.

max went out to look for her that day. she was on a set path towards the border. she wondered if mallaidh had noticed their friend’s absence too. this was the second time this had happened, what would she think?

speak of the devil. mallaidh approached her with a somber demeanor. she greeted her with a touch to her head. “hey, what’s up? you’re lookin’ blue.

RE: it’s not gay when it’s in a three way - Mallaidh - October 20, 2018

Max touches her ground and Mallaidh dips into it, closing her eyes and feeling appreciative for the affection. Mallaidh tries for an awkward smile when Max pulls back, half expecting the girl to be mad at her. Ever since Roarke, she’s kept to herself and left the others hanging, let Saarthal get away but she doesn’t see fault in her gaze.

“I haven’t seen Saarthal lately,” she admits and licks her lips. “Or you, I guess. Until now. I, um, kinda got my ass kicked a little while ago and,” she shrugs a shoulder, trying to hide the embarrassment.
