@Kai and @Arrowbella can join if they want

The girl had arrived at the Redhawks territory. Before she'd left @Cry and @Gwen, he'd told her to be mindful of borders. So, on her approach, she bent every now and again to check her standing. It would be just her luck to cross into their territory, caught on a whim of another creature. Her eyes sought for any figure who may be on border patrol but saw no one.

She was here to sort out the territories, the whole concept of shared hunting seemed simple enough, but the girl didn't know what she would be greeted with. She had come bearing the scent of Kovertol and her packmates, Cry and Gwen's scents starting to fade. Would the task be too daunting to a girl of her standing? Surely not, she could do this.
She sure hoped they were as nice as @Wildfire. Would @Phox be here too? She didn't know, but almost hoped he would be. He was the first to make contact with her pack, after all.

Taking a deep breath, she realised she was a few yards from their border, a multitude of scents wafted to her. Fuck...she couldn't even count how many of them there were. A lot, she reckoned. Another deep breath, she'd made friends with Jarlio easily enough, so why should this be so different?
Maybe it was the prospect of being ripped apart because they didn't want her pack here.
She shuddered to think such a thing.

Tipping her head back, she howled for leadership. She didn't know what to expect, but she braced herself for what was to come.

RE: Please turn your fears into trust - Tegan - December 17, 2018

nope, no leadership, only tegan blackthorn. which, if you think about it, is quite the honor. you should be honored that he was doing some sort of border patrol... really, you should be, it doesn't happen often.

"ayo quit yellin!" called out tegan, who was crazy close when the girl started her howl. @Quixote might've heard. @Towhee probably wouldn't hear, but X had actually be accompanying him on his lil stroll patrol so the bird took off towards her when tegan gave him a look. and then he stopped in front of the wolf with pricked ears, minty gaze settled all over her features. @Bat was probably nearby too, tegan scented her-- she was probably hunting him down. whatevs. "wassup, b? you need something?" he asked the stranger. very formal, very official.

RE: Please turn your fears into trust - Sacnite - December 19, 2018

A wolf appeared from nowhere, damn she was blind.
She smiled softly, looking him over to check his posture; friendly yet formal. She tried so hard to stop her tail waving from side to side, but a twitch could still be seen. "Sorry, I didn't see you there," she looked almost sheepish and apologetic -- almost.

Did he call her -- b?
She hadn't heard that before. She tilted her head slightly but kept the quizzical look from her expression and instead gave the grey man large, innocent eyes and explained her intentions,  "I'm here to discuss the hunting grounds between the Redhawks and the Shadewood,"  her sea-green eyes flitted about, "are you one of the Redhawk leaders?" She asked hopefully, keeping the friendly smile.

RE: Please turn your fears into trust - Tegan - January 09, 2019

"oh, dope," said tegan with a flick of his ears. but then went quiet.... because, no, he was not a leader. where the fuck was @Towhee and @Quixote ? tegan needed help fr fr. "well i'm not a leader but i handle foreign affairs and shit so... what's up, what the question? we been here longer we kinda got dibs on our shit." which was true fax.

The youth grinned, her head tilting in curiosity. She'd not met someone so frank and yet he looked vaguely similar.
Her brows furrowed, thinking real hard, as she does. Where could she have run into him before...?
Except the girl hadn't run into him, but instead Apple. A relative to him unbeknown to her. Yet she couldn't make the connections, no matter how hard she tried.

Instead, she decided to keep talking,  "Well I suppose you're a leader of sorts if you're involved with uh-" she hesitated on the word, unsure on how to proceed until she got her shit together,  "foreign affairs. And I fully understand that you want to keep the land here."
Understanding crossed the youth's face with sincerity. She knew that wars broke out over land, that was why she was here though. To stop that. Again, she offered a smile of the brightness she carried with her. Hoping to melt the butter on the potato.

RE: Please turn your fears into trust - Quixote - January 13, 2019

The reason Quixote wasn't here right away was because he was somewhere over half way across the territory and had to disentangle himself from whatever nonsense he'd been up to.  Probably was trying to teach his kids to hunt or something, who knows at this point since I misplaced the thread.

Anyway, he finally showed up.  Tegan was there along with the person who called, and for simplicity's sake, we'll say he missed what the stranger had said at the very least.  The alpha carried himself with his usual casual confidence but, true to character, wasn't the sort to make a big show of his rank unless he had to.  He looked to Tegan, So, summary?  Also given this was Quixote, he was at times a bit of a social dunce and didn't introduce himself, but it probably would be obvious that he was one of the leaders here anyway, so...
