maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - RIP Issun - December 20, 2018 guardian/warrior thread for @Minori
another member was gone. he didn’t know them that well, he didn’t know them at all actually. they’re scent was here and there. along the border, on a tree, a bush. but the trail was old now. well, at least they had takara to fill the spot. his patrols had become more frequent. he’d do them every morning and every night. tonight was no different. issun trotted along the borders, leaving markings every so often. RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - Minori - December 20, 2018 Illidian had left and that woman, Takara had taken his place. She felt a small bit of regret that she never met him but he could have introduced himself as well so she didn't feel too bad. Ever since Minori had caught Takara pressing herself all over Issun she had felt a sort of pent up, growing frustration within her. She didn't understand it, not quite though she wasn't so uneducated about emotions to not have at least a vague idea of what was happening. She supposed what pissed her off the most was that she may have been too late in realising that her feelings were not what she originally thought them to be. In the hope that it would get some energy out she was taking an extra run, patrolling the borders as the sky darkened. That was when she caught Issun's trail and happened upon him a moment later. She smiled and slowed down, stalking him and keeping to the shadows. As she grew close she gave a growl, playful in tone and leaped at him hoping to take him down. RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - RIP Issun - December 20, 2018 he was not alone in this night. there was someone watching, he could feel it. his ears rotated and he lifted his head to take a deep breath. a small sly smile spread over his face. she was heard before she was seen. he spun around and dipped away just as minori bursted out of the shadows. issun laughed and bowed into a playful crouch. “you gotta be more quiet than that,” he teased before launching towards her. RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - Minori - December 20, 2018 Rolled evens on defense for Failure and odds on attack for hit. Wasn't sure how else to handle this response just yet ;_;
Minori's ears perked up at Issun's laughter, a sound she hadn't heard in such a long time. She snorted and flicked her tail, a grin forming on her face as he pointed out how loud she had been. She almost responded but then he lunged, his weight knocking her onto her side as she was too slow in reaction. She blinked once, wondering how only a few weeks without a fight could cause her skills to decrease so much. With a low growl she lunged her jaws forward, grabbing hold of issun's foreleg and tugging him off balance while using her hind legs to attempt to push him over. "Loud or quiet I can still whoop your ass" she teased. RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - RIP Issun - December 20, 2018 it was almost too easy to have her subcumb to his weight. he lifted his chin and let out a smug snort. before he could gloat on his victory, minori pulled his leg, causing him to loose balance. issun lifted himself from the ground, shaking off snow that clung to his pelt. “i’d like to see you try.” issun stood in his place with his tail wagging (it looked pretty stupid), waiting for her next move. RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - Minori - December 20, 2018 rolled a failure LMFAO
She smothered a laugh as he hit the ground, snow flying everywhere. As he stood up so did she eyeballing his tail, which wiggled in a strange way that Minori found kind of cute though she wouldn't say so. He taunted her and she rolled her eyes, circling him slowly. As she reached his side she made to lunge, though the muscles along her newly scarred would siezed and the scar tissue tugged in a sharp way causing her to stumble and almost collapse into him. To make it seem like she meant to do that she went with the action before jerking herself away and shaking her head "You first. I like to give the underdogs at least a fighting chance" she hoped the teasing words would distract him away from an almost extremely embarrassing fail of an attack. RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - RIP Issun - December 20, 2018 they bothed fucked up lmao
he was able to side step away from her not-so-graceful attack. had she meant to pathetically flop, or was that on purpose? well, she certainly tried to play it off, but issun just snickered. “who you calling underdog?” he reared up on his hind legs and tried to slam down on minori, but he missed and just got a face full of snow. now they were even. MISS
HP: 20/20 RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - Minori - December 21, 2018 Rolled a 3 for discord for hit. 1 for damage....so...
Minori watched as Issun reared up and prepared to push her down, though something went wrong and he faceplanted instead. She immediately burst out laughing, her eyes glimmering with amusement. "Wow...just wow Issun. How does the snow taste?" she asked and then lifted a paw, smacking it onto the back of his head and pressing his muzzle into the cold white frozen water. Not really a damage doer to much except maybe his ego. Still though she laughed, not a mean sound but a light, tinkling sound that was just meant she thought he was funny. Minori HP: 20/20
RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - RIP Issun - December 22, 2018 a hot wash of embarrassment flowed through his cheeks as he lay splayed in the snow. he tried to get back up but was swiftly shoved back into the icy ground. he shot up again and pounced towards her with a playful growl. rolled 5 dmg
HP: 19/20 RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - Minori - December 22, 2018 Also rolled a 5 for damage. HP:15/20
Minori snickered her eyes crinkling around the edges which caused her to be unprepared for Issun's swift lunge which unfortunately for the Matsuyo ended up (accidentally on his end probaby) with him slamming into her still tender scar as she turned in an attempt to dodge. The flare up of pain caused a ripping snarl to tear instinctively from her maw as in a moment of poor timing her mind went a bit hazy and she couldn't quite place where she was. She whirled her head around and lunged for his ears, fangs aiming to tear though when she landed the hit she would regain her senses enough not to completely shred his poor ears up. RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - RIP Issun - December 23, 2018 he must’ve hit her a little too hard, cause she seemed to snap for a second. he winced when she snapped at the delicate part of his ear and his gut response was to push her away. it probably wasn’t the smartest idea but it was the first thing that came to mind. rolled 8
HP: 14/20 RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - Minori - December 23, 2018 rolled a 6. HP: 15/20
His reaction to her attack was to shove her and she was stunned to find that once again her side protested, a nauseating wave of pain making her stumble and fall over onto the ground. She took a moment, breath shallow as she looked to see if perhaps she had accidentally torn the wound back open or if it simply was still much too tender for something like this. Finding it to be okay she made to snap at him incase he was close, teeth aiming to snag his flesh and get him to back off for a moment. Unfortunately she failed and the sound of her teeth clicking together jarred some sense back into her and she shook her fur as she pushed herself up once more, circling him with a much more wary and serious look. The game was over and the actual spar had begun. RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - RIP Issun - December 27, 2018 rolled 3 dmg LMAO
he was not aware of the damage he may have caused, so her attack had taken him off guard. luckily he was able to duck out of the way. the snap of her teeth rang in his ears. this was a little bit too serious than what he’d hope for. wary eyes followed the circling warrior. “you scared?” he teased with nervous laughter. he went forward to grab her snout. if he grabbed hold, the grip wouldn’t be strong. this wasn’t a real fight after all. RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - Minori - December 30, 2018 His teasing words snapped her out of her bout of temper and she snorted, shaking her head "Of you? Please" she retorted and as he lunged she was prepared, pulling her head back. His fangs brushed across her nose but because there was no real intention to hurt and she had been ready they slipped right back off. Without hesitation she twisted her head and lunged in, her chest colliding with his as she aimed to grab hold of his scruff. If it succeeded she would use her weight to push him over while yanking him down by his scruff to pin him to the ground. Rolled a 9 damage
RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - RIP Issun - December 30, 2018 minori wins :P
her movement was too swift for him. one moment he was on his feet and the next he lay defeated in the snow. “alright, alright, you’ve proved your point,” he huffed. he squirmed around, trying to get up from beneath her. RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - Minori - December 30, 2018 She was successful and she placed her paw on his chest, wagging her tail. She grinned "I was a general for a reason" she teased him. When he squirmed she leaned down and nipped his ear before getting off of him and shaking her fur out. "That was fun. We should practice together more often" RE: maybe they were predisposed to madness, who knows? - RIP Issun - December 30, 2018 he got up from beneath her and shook the snow from his pelt. “yeah we should. you’re a great fighter.” it was probably best if he got back to work, so he dipped his head and saw himself out. |
