glass jar - Harrison - December 22, 2018

well, winter had definitely settled itself into the wilds, and it had cast a chilling nip to the man every time he had trekked himself out of his den and into the snow. normally a charmer, harrison had become a grumbling snowman of a wolf with very little regard for the others around him. he did what he could to defend their temporary borders, but – god – he cursed the coldness of the creek being so close to them. it had gotten so bad that he had started to dream about warm summer months in his sleep. though they were a long shot away, he kept searching the horizon for an act from the heavens.

no such luck, it seemed; the moment he'd stepped out of his hiding hole, he was met with a fresh blanket of snow and the crisp touch of winter. with a dramatic sigh that wafted up into the air like a fresh cloud of dismal steam, the snake moved his way into the brisk landscape and set his sights on the borders. he still wanted grayson to change his mind about their location, but he knew that it was difficult to persuade his brother into much of anything once he'd gotten his mind set on it. so, harrison did what he could to help around the area... still praying that the snow would disappear overnight.

finally gets to this thread bc i fuckin suck hehe

the snow would certainly not disappear overnight but... ah, whatever harrison wanted to believe.

grayson himself didn't mind it. the women were doing fine so he was doing fine. after all, no time in the day for a man to be weak...

he found his brother along the borders, patrolling as he should be. the man called out in a chuff to his pale counterpart, his tail waving. "harrison," he barked, tail waving, trotting over to join him on his patrol, "what's up, how are you?" how easily grayson slipped between casual and formal... it was surely annoying to the rest of his family, but it was familiar to grayson, and he often didn't even notice it.

do not
it wasn't until harrison had swiveled his ear to catch the sound of his brother's chuff that he caught the presence of the other man. when he swung his muzzle around to face grayson, he realized that his sibling looked like a gleaming turd against the frosty white backdrop. were it not for the need to keep up appearances, he thought he would have shared such discoveries. instead, the charmer offered his traditional half-smirk and wavered his tail between his hocks as an invitation for the other odolf to join him.

“cold, grayson... how does it look?” he returned with a brisk shiver and a sigh that released a breath of hot air into the sky above him. his pale gaze followed the sight of it until it had disappeared against a backdrop of snowy grey. “i keep hiding out in the trees to get some warmth. was getting afraid i'd turn into a block of ice.” of course, there was that teasing tone that layered his words. harrison cast a sidelong glance toward his sibling and sneered softly.

"cold," grayson agreed when asked how does it look, "winter's not that much longer." and, truthfully, it wasn't. just a few more months and then it would be spring. and by spring, grayson hoped, there would be puppies afoot. assumedly his own -- and harrison's, of course.

"if you turn into a block of ice i'm thawing you out," the odolf man said with a fluff of his fur, eyeing his brother, "there are far more women than there are men here -- and you frozen solid won't help us a bit." a broad smirk pressed to his features, because the more women than men implied a few things. one, yes, that there were lots of mouths to feed. but two, that there were plenty of women to be fucked.

harrison nodded his head at the first statement. if there was a chance that winter would stretch on any further than it was supposed to, he was sure that he'd pack up and move to the desert. he was sick of waking up to stiff limbs and ice forming on the whiskers beneath his nose. he wanted the sun and the warmth that came with such things. the idea that they had to endure any more of the frigid weather was almost unbearable to imagine.

when grayson mentioned that there were fewer men than women in their potential numbers, the snake turned his head sharply to his brother and canted it to the side. “do any of them have your heart, brother of mine?” the creamy charmer inquired with a curling smile on his dark lips. this was talk among men, of course; he was only curious.

without missing a beat, grayson rumbled, "prialux." harrison wouldn't need much explanation, at least, grayson didn't think so --  as beautiful and docile as she was -- but he would provide it anyway. "she is a rose, harrison, i've never seen such a woman so poised... and she belongs in my garden," he told his brother with a hungry flick of his tail. but it was not love that grayson so dearly sought after, no. it was merely beauty. merely status. and prialux had enough beauty alone to raise his status a few notches. and grayson already valued himself the highest of the mighty.

"what about yourself?" he asked him with a raise of a dark brow, pale eyes steady upon his brother.

RE: glass jar - Harrison - February 04, 2019

the name that was spoken was entirely unfamiliar to harrison. this was a relief in itself, if only because he had been holding his breath in anticipation. surely, grayson had to have met oryx. how could he not have found the dark woman to be as charming as harrison did? it mattered very little how, of course. it was that he didn't that caused the snake's smile to spread wildly along his features. a laugh erupted from his muzzle at the words that had followed the name of the girl. this meant that he did not have to worry about whether or not his brother wished to steal the girl he had his eyes on. he did not have to plot his revenge.

“she will be lucky to have you,” he offered with a quick nod and a knowing expression. surely, grayson would not allow the woman he pined for to belong to another man.

when the query was turned around to him, harrison offered a sidelong glance toward the darker sibling. he had always been smart to dot his i's and cross his t's in any event that he should have been scrutinized for his actions. harrison was carefree and lackadaisical as long as it suited his needs and wants. he had realized that his brother was offering him a chance to speak about the woman that he desired, and he needed to be careful.

“i should like to take the woman oryx,” he admitted in a steady tone.

RE: glass jar - Grayson - February 13, 2019

grayson grunted, a slimy smirk dripping across his features. she would be lucky to have him, honored, even.

to harrison's request, because everything brought to the paws of grayson odolf required permission, grayson could not say he was surprised. oryx would be a top contender for the top dog as well. she was a dark beauty, but had potential. soft spoken, well mannered, and submissive. that was all a man needed in a woman. it seemed harrison himself had been keeping a close eye on them all. silently, grayson was surprised that diavah was not chosen -- she too was well bred. lacked self-confidence as well, something grayson found attractive. it was the victims, after all, that would need saving. that would devote their lives to their saviors. ie. grayson.

"then she will be yours," grayson said with a flash in his cold, pearly gaze, "and we will rule the creek with them at our sides."
