I can't wait - Rakk - January 03, 2019 He'd limped his way all the way back to this cavern. He'd only happened across it now and he delved inside. Hoping for respite. He sighed heavily, the scents of herbs rising into his nose. He groaned softly, swaying. @Winterbourne
He moved through the plants that were blessed by the dim sunlight that shafted down from the exposed heavens. A small pool of water quenched his thirst. He moved through the foliage, some plants stinging at his risen leg that earned some foul, shouted curses. "Fuck off," he snarled, lips writhing like maggots in a corpse, "I will find you. I will have you." He groaned in his thoughts. Thoughts of Aure. But what of that girl that had slashed his face, the dark girl that was with the bear-man? She was "Delightful." The herbs he passed through, and would lay on, would help his leg to heal. Uncanny, how things worked for him. Soon, he found his rest on some larger leaves, curling up and rolling in them. The juices helping to kill the infection he'd undoubtedly picked up. Soon, the spider was asleep. Restlessly. RE: I can't wait - Winterbourne - January 03, 2019 The cavern is vast and beautiful, strangely out of place tucked into the snowy mountains; there is life here, green and flourishing even through the harshness of winter, and Winterbourne finds it fascinating. He wanders with nose to the earth and stump tail waving, sniffing so busily at the plants littering the cavern floor that he misses the fresh scent of the stranger within. The sleeping wolf goes entirely unnoticed for a time as he explores. Unfortunately, he remains oblivious to the presence of the other wolf until his idle wandering brings him far too close, attention caught by a soft sound somewhere high above. It only takes a few moments of inattention to see him stumbling over the sleeping form with a yelp. What —He's cut off as he struggles to regain his balance, taking several graceless steps back and cursing himself silently for not paying more attention. RE: I can't wait - Rakk - January 04, 2019 He dreamt of wild things. Of him and Aure on the beach. He could have the dark-girl by his feet. The dark mocha girl -- albeit she had maimed him -- could be there too. On his other side. Looking at the ocean. Just like Aure wanted. The wind whipped towards him and he leaned down, locking his teeth in the dark-girl, Vespera. And she crumbled to ash.
Aure fell down by his side, the scars adorning her face writhing with maggots and rot. The mocha woman laughed like the goddess of death before the salted air ripped her form away; leaving naught but a stain. He could only watch in despair as his desires left; this was the fear that fueled him to find Aure. It took a heartbeat for the storm to become aware of the presence stumbling over him. In the next heartbeat, his was rising in a flash, maw opening to grasp the stranger as they cried out in alarm. He drove upwards and snapped onto his leg, growling softly. He didn't appreciate being awoken. He started to rise fully, unfurling his gangly limbs with his hold on the stranger. He shook slightly, his maw loosening just enough to be an opening. If the other knew how to take the opportunity. "Who are you." He demanded. No mercy in his voice. No welcome; well, clearly. He bristled, his back legs quivering slightly. RE: I can't wait - Winterbourne - February 03, 2019 He can't quite stifle the yelp that slips from him as the stranger's jaws snap around his foreleg too quickly to react. The yelp ends abruptly in a slightly desperate growl as he struggles to pull his leg from the stranger's grasp, snapping uselessly at him as he rises. What —He manages to pull free before he can get his response out, stumbling back for a moment before he lunges clumsily for the other wolf. He's not thinking clearly, too blinded by shock and pain and his own endless supply of angst; later, he'll realize he should have fled — but right now he wants blood. RE: I can't wait - Rakk - February 04, 2019 If you don't want anything serious just say! Rakk snarled up at him like a demon unleashed. He snapped as the silvered one lurched to him. Rakk saw his opening, he pressed and snagged his teeth in the silver shoulder, he twisted but, without all four legs, couldn't push his catch to the floor. Couldn't pin him swiftly enough. This angered the spider that growled low and clenched his jaws tighter, desperate to keep his grip. He needed something and this was it. He would make something he wanted from it. He would make the other submit. |
