[j] new divide - Tezcacoatl - July 09, 2014 The Wilds had changed since he had last been. The pack that had once been nemesis to Swiftcurrent Creek was no more, learned only by the fact that is the Northstar Vale that Týr cut through now, his destination appearing to be Swiftcurrent creek though the young rekkr remained hesitant. He had left once. What reason was there for Fox to allow him back in? The thought of the beautiful and fierce alpha of the Creek had left a slight hitch in Týr’s breathing that passed as quickly as it came. It had only been a crush and crushes didn’t last forever, after all. He shook that thought and accordingly, Fox, away from his mind unsure without the certainty that he had previously had that had waned the closer he had came to the Teekon Wilds, where it was he was going to go. Obviously, he had to go somewhere. He could have tried to join with his father, probably should have, but he was too anxious to prove that he could step out of Ragnar’s shadow and conquer on his own to shut himself back in it once more. RE: [j] new divide - Jace - July 09, 2014 Jace stood looking down over the mountain and it’s majestic peaks. Blue eyes were bright with happiness for his home, he no longer felt burdened by others up here. His soul was still burdened of course as it always would be. He stood tall and strong enjoying the view and the mild morning. His ears perked forward when a howl came floating upon the small breeze to him. Snorting he began a descent down that mountains, bounding from one spot to the next. Due to his long legs it did not take him long to come upon the brown wolf with the silver markings. He tilted his head, but kept it held high and his tail above his back. What brings you to the Sunspire? RE: [j] new divide - Tezcacoatl - July 09, 2014 I wouldn't quote me on it but I'm pretty sure Týr had left before Jace joined SC sooo I'm just going to say that he doesn't know Jace just to make it easier. :P
There wasn’t much time between the howl to quell his curiosity and the realization of what it might imply to any one that responded to it, especially if it was a leader who came to indulge the curious loner at their borders. Chocolate colored ears slicked back to stand at half mast atop his skull, the soft but handsome quintessential royal look that Týr carried, refined and finesse despite Ragnar and Floki’s best efforts to make him ‘savage’ and their endless teasing about his ‘smoothed edges’ pulling into a introspective expression. He knew nothing about this pack and it was perfectly logical to not be jumping the gun to join them given that. Týr was an intellectual being and he was not so desperate. The approach of an ebon male, his stance dominate giving the rekkr the distinct impression that he was a leader if not the leader. Imperative details that border scents alone could not tell him. Týr did not fully submit to the point of exposing his throat though he did alter his stance to one of polite respect regardless. RE: [j] new divide - Jace - July 09, 2014 I think he had just left when Jace joined* Jace studied the wolf in front of him; he stood nobly by, like a royal. He wondered if the boy ever got blemished, probably not. He was a perfect specimen of said pretty boy, but Jace didn’t hold that against him too much. Jace stood looking him over trying to puzzle him out, as he was apt to do, knowledge was his weakness, and he loved it. Jace stared at him and decided even though he was a pretty boy, he liked him. He was knowledgeable and sleeked knowledge like him. Very well we are fairly new. The alpha is Ferdie Von Pelt, I am the beta my name is Jace Du’Andris. We do not allow anyone in the upper tier without a trade; we follow strict hierarchy dominances and nuances. You can rise up both by domination if the other is willing to fight for it and the Alpha approves it, and by showing your worth. We do not have time for nay Sayers and we protect our borders with our lives, any trespasser gets no mercy and you chase them away and if they don’t run you fight them and if you kill them so be it. He then stared at the other blue eyes gazing at him with intensity, waiting for an answer or another question. RE: [j] new divide - Tezcacoatl - July 10, 2014 It did not fall under Týr notice that his request for judicious information might have repercussive ramifications; though this was nothing short of the rekkr’s methodical researching tendencies he was not under the misunderstanding that it was always welcome. His questions were spoken with the clear intention of being prying. Some leaders did not like freely giving out information regarding their pack to a lone wolf that might join their pack but whose membership balanced on the precarious edge of the knife, the dependency of their joining resting alone on what they had to give. It was …fair to be cautious Týr supposed but he was not the type of creature to blindly follow another without getting cold hard and yes intrusive facts about the pack in question. Týr needed his decisions to be made with a relative education especially when he was not that desperate. Crystalline blue eyes watched the ebon creature stare at him with an intensity that made the earthen cloaked Viking with silver splashes under each eye shift in a manner that was almost uncomfortable without really understanding why. RE: [j] new divide - Ferdie Von Pelt - July 10, 2014 Ferdie scented a new scent upon his boarder, but it wasn't so much new as it was an old one he committed to memory, now to just connect it.. Týr! He quicken his pace, and found as more and more often Jace beat him to the punch, for this however he was glad to have made Jace his Beta. A good leader knew what roles were good for his followers and asked nothing of them that he wouldn't do himself. But also a good leader recognized the limited he could push for and ask from his followers and asked nothing more then necessary. TýrFerdie spoke recalling the name and accent he tried his best to reproduce, As he drew up to him his tail was lifted to match Jace's he didn't need to make himself rule over Jace if he expected the other wolves to respect Jace's position he needed to show them he was just as respectful even though he was alpha. he offered no other dominate posture for he was still ashamed of himself for 'back then' I have learned much in the time since our last meeting, It was you whom finally knocked it into my head finally about respect of ranks, and equals. I never got the chance to thank you and we still owe each other the hunt we had planned. Truely Ferdie had wanted to kindle a friendship back then before Týr's disappearance and since that never worked he was hoping to try again, one could never have to many friends. Ferdie smiled hoping to entice Týr to stay for he did respect the male highly for the lesson he learned that day. if not for Týr he probably would have gone about attempting to make a fool of himself trying to dominate others into giving him a better rank. That would have had Fox kill him likely rather then ultimately having been driven out for something mostly and yet completely different. He had submitted properly to her then the lot of good it did. RE: [j] new divide - Jace - July 11, 2014 Jace chuckled quietly at the other's words, really having so much on his mind, he was so close to madness he didn't know what he'd do if he finally fell off that brink. He needed some sleep, he needed to stop not sleeping, it was causing his mind to be full of dust. Jace licked his muzzle softly for a moment as he thought and then he spoke again, Perhaps I am not as clear as I could have been. You will respect the Alpha and myself of course, and another can attempt to dominate you, but one of us can step in if it is overly excessive, and if you want to climb the hierarchy ladder without having to earn a trade immediately, you are allowed to challenge the wolf directly above you in the tier. However, again if you say are a higher rank and do not wished to be challenged the alpha has the right to veto that, which is yes Ferdie. Jace flicked an ear back when Ferdie came upon them and he grew silent then. He sat to his haunches then and allowed Ferdie to take front and center. |
